The Federalist is reporting that a Seattle museum is hosting a week-long summer camp for teens aged 12-18 where students who enroll will “investigate drag history” and find their own “drag personas.”

“Calling all current and future kings and queens!” reads the descriptor of the program sponsored by the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP). “Explore self-expression in MoPOP’s week-long, drag-tastic summer camp! … You’ll choose your name, explore hair and makeup techniques, and develop your character’s stage presence.”

The five-day workshop, which teaches kids how to cross-dress and is led by local drag performer Joshua Hancock, will finish with a “private showcase” to allow adolescents to “celebrate your new drag personas.”

The camp is priced at $370 and rises to $400 after May 31, with a $25 discount for museum members.

As one of the commenters responded to this post on Twitter, “imagine entrusting your 12-year-old to this.”

Will Disney pay a price for waging an aggressive misinformation campaign against Florida’s new anti-sexual grooming law, which protects kindergarteners through third-graders from predatory teachers?

The formal name of the law is the Parental Rights in Education law.

Disney activists call it the “Don’t say Gay” law in collusion with the corporate owned mainstream media, distracting from the core mission of the new law, which is the protection of young children.

But Disney has a lot to lose by joining in the political fray of the culture wars.

Disney has operated under a special favored status since it opened its Disney World theme park in 1971.

According to Mat Staver of the Florida-based Liberty Counsel, under the state of Florida’s 1967 Reedy Creek Improvement Act, Disney’s property is part of an autonomous zone in Orange County, Florida.

"They're treated like a quasi-governmental entity. They're essentially their own governmental entity, with their own district, their own water district, their own taxing district. They had their own police force as well," Staver told the American Family News.

Disney, for example, does its own zoning and planning, processes its own trash, and can issue its own bonds for roads and other infrastructure.

It is almost like a state within a state.

According to the AFN article, some Florida legislators – in response to Disney's open opposition to the new law – have floated the idea of repealing the Reedy Creek Improvement Act.

"If Disney wants to embrace woke ideology, it seems fitting that they should be regulated by Orange County," tweeted Florida State Representative Spencer Roach (R) on March 30, explaining that he and fellow legislators had met twice to discuss that repeal.

Mat Staver, whose Liberty Counsel Christian legal aid firm is also based in Florida, believes it’s time for the state to take away the Magic Kingdom’s political autonomy and special privileges. He told the AFN:

"Disney is trying to attract young families with young children – and yet they're lobbying against a bill that actually is commonsense parental rights, protects children kindergarten through third grade, and gives parents the rights and say over their education. If Disney wants to get into the lobbing business and go against the family values of Florida, then it ought to stop getting the special treatment that Florida has given Disney."

Staver believes that not only is Disney hurting its own brand, it's starting to hurt Florida's brand as well.

"… They've gone so far liberal and left that they're out of sync with the values of Floridians and, frankly, [with] all the people around the world who come and visit Disney," he told AFN.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis commented to Fox News that, in his opinion, Disney has "lost a lot of the pull" it used to have in Florida and nationwide – and that it's time to take a closer look at the Reedy Creek Improvement Act.

DeSantis said in a press conference Thursday:

"I would say any special privileges that are in law I would like to get rid of generally. I think in this particular case with Disney, I just don’t think you have very many people in the legislature anymore who are going to be able to defend a lot of what has been done over many years to really have them almost govern themselves in some of these things. That was probably never appropriate to start, but is certainly not appropriate now at this point."

So, what are conservatives and Christians going to do about the Disney question?

Disney has been used as a destructive force against the family for 40 years, according to a new article in Crisis Magazine, which is a conservative Catholic publication. And yet the company remains an icon of American culture, indeed exporting its anti-family propaganda films and entertainment worldwide.

But if people are only now waking up to the fact that Disney is not a purveyor of wholesome family entertainment, will they cut the cord and boycott the company?

According to the Post Millennial, many long-time Disney fans are doing just that, cancelling trips and subscriptions, citing concerns over the company's "woke" take on several current issues.

Disney has been famous in the recent past, and has been cancelled itself, for cancelling conservative actress Gina Carano, and for releasing movies meant for children talking about themes such as masturbation, the Post Millennial reports.

But it was only Disney's stance on Florida's bill banning classroom conversations on gender and sexual orientation for young children that, according to those interviewed, is pushing them "over the edge."

We’ll see how long that lasts.

We’ve told you about the 55,000 pages of data that Pfizer was forced to turn over last month after trying to conceal it for 75 years. That data showed that literally hundreds of people died from Pfizer’s Covid vaccine in the first three months of the roll out, and more than 1,200 different serious side effects were reported but the FDA covered it all up.

It was only because of a court order that the data has started to be revealed.

Well, another data dump was released by Pfizer on April 1 and we are starting to learn what was in there.

And that’s not all that was in this most recent data dump.

It shows from Pfizer itself, data that vaccinated people can transmit Covid symptoms to the unvaccinated through inhalation and skin contact.

Here’s just one small section of the report (See pages 68 and 69).

8.3.5.3. Occupational exposure

An occupational exposure occurs when a person receives unplanned direct contact with the study intervention, which may or may not lead to the occurrence of an AE. Such persons may include healthcare providers, family members, and other roles that are involved in the trial participant’s care.

The investigator must report occupational exposure to Pfizer Safety within 24 hours of the investigator’s awareness, regardless of whether there is an associated SAE. The information must be reported using the Vaccine SAE Report Form. Since the information does not pertain to a participant enrolled in the study, the information is not recorded on a CRF; however, a copy of the completed Vaccine SAE Report Form is maintained in the investigator site file.

So this information, according to the study data, will be handled separately in a very untransparent way, even though the adverse event suffered by the person was a result of coming in close skin to skin contact with a vaccinated individual.

And they wonder why some are calling this the crime of the century.

J.D. Rucker reports that one of the most persuasive arguments in favor of the political prisoners arrested after the mostly peaceful January 6, 2021, protest is that “tons of video evidence shows law enforcement officers ushering in the protesters. If these people were breaking the law, doesn’t that mean the police were breaking it with them by pulling down the barricades, opening the doors, and ushering them in? Are we not supposed to listen to the instructions of law enforcement?”

This premise, Rucker reports, was tested with amazing results for January 6 defendant Matthew Martin.

According to Sean Davis:

This acknowledgement of reality — that it’s not a crime to walk through a door held open for you by police — is fatal to the corrupt government’s entire J6 narrative. It’s also why DOJ has criminally abused defendants to force plea deals: DOJ knows its cases are garbage.

Rucker notes that the Department of Justice has been gung ho with charges and arrests and have claimed to be applying the full force of the law against people they have dubbed “insurrectionists” and “domestic terrorists.”

But, Rucker writes, “they’ve been just as quick to quietly make plea deals with as many as possible. This isn’t the standard practice of clearing a docket through negotiations. They have always seemed to be in a very big rush to get as many as possible to admit wrongdoing even if it meant far lighter sentences.”

Rucker asks a legitimate question: “Was it all a con because they knew they had no real cases against most of the defendants?”

Martin’s story is one that rings familiar to a large number of the accused. As Buzzfeed reported:

Announcing his decision from the bench, US District Judge Trevor McFadden said that although prosecutors argued there were numerous instances when Martin would have been aware that he wasn’t allowed on Capitol grounds or inside the building — as he walked past fences with signs saying “AREA CLOSED” and recorded video of a broken window, blaring alarms, police in riot gear, and people who appeared to have encountered tear gas — those were outweighed by Martin’s “plausible” belief that he had permission because officers didn’t try to stop him from entering.

McFadden said that Martin’s conduct was as “minimal and non-serious”as the judge could imagine for someone who went into the Capitol on Jan. 6. He said that Martin seemed to be a “silent observer” of the scene and didn’t try to crowd the police, protest, or wave the “Trump” flag that he was carrying. Martin appeared “quiet” and “orderly” as he walked inside the building, filmed video inside the Rotunda similar to how the media would behave, and didn’t appear to interfere with officers as he filmed a clash with rioters later in the afternoon on a north terrace of the building.

Rucker concludes:

“If the plan for the DoJ was to put on a public appearance of toughness but then bully defendants into signing plea bargains, it appears to have been working. Out of 770 charged, around 250 have already signed plea agreements.

“Those who have not fallen for the DoJ’s pressure campaign need to apply Martin’s defense strategy if their situation warrants it. If the police were ushering people in, can they really be blamed for entering and peacefully protesting?”

Oregon Democrat Senator Ron Wyden believes Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg should face consequences for the social media giant’s privacy violations, telling Williamette Week that Zuckerberg should possibly be sent to jail.

Wyden told the publication:

“Mark Zuckerberg has repeatedly lied to the American people about privacy. I think he ought to be held personally accountable, which is everything from financial fines to—and let me underline this—the possibility of a prison term. Because he hurt a lot of people.”

According to Fox Business, Wyden added that the precedent for such action lies in the fact that if an executive misleads investors about a company’s financials, he or she can be held personally liable.

Facebook did not return FOX Business’ request for comment.

A video posted to Chinese social media website Weibo this week shows government drones flying outside residents’ windows at night, broadcasting propaganda messages via loudspeaker. Other videos show “robot dogs” patrolling the streets, ordering residents to comply via strapped-on megaphones.

“As seen on Weibo: Shanghai residents go to their balconies to sing & protest lack of supplies,” the Economist’s Alice Su wrote on Twitter. “A drone appears: ‘Please comply with covid restrictions. Control your soul’s desire for freedom. Do not open the window or sing.'”

Three injections of the COVID-19 vaccine were not enough to protect Joe Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, from catching COVID-19.

On Tuesday the Department of Justice issued a statement informing the American people that he had been infected with the coronavirus after testing positive following antigen testing.

The statement reads:

“He asked to be tested after learning that he may have been exposed to the virus,” the statement reads. “At the time, he is not experiencing symptoms. The Attorney General is fully vaccinated and boosted.

“In accordance with CDC guidelines, the Attorney General will isolate at home for at least five days. He will work virtually during this period and will return to the office following a negative test for the virus. The department will conduct contact tracing in accordance with CDC protocols.”

And he’s just the latest triple vaxxed Democrat to announced proudly that he’s been infected.

Congressman Adam Schiff, D-California, also announced Tuesday that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.

How is it that it’s a great thing to announce you’ve got Covid when you are vaxxed and boosted and potentially spreading your disease to others, but it’s a shame to come down with that same ailment if you’re not vaxxed?

Time now for our nightly commentary.

We are now into year two of Joe Biden’s border crisis. Yes, he owns it.

And not only has the situation not improved, but the Biden administration is now making plans to let Title 42 expire at the end of May.

Title 42 was implemented by President Trump at the start of the Covid pandemic in March 2020 to limit the spread of the virus from illegal aliens crossing into the U.S.

While Biden has stubbornly refused to let the Covid national emergency expire, continuing to renewing it, while also refusing to cancel the federal mask mandate on airlines, he displays no such reticence when it comes to letting illegals off the hook to Covid restrictions.

As Red State reports, Congressman Chip Roy (R-Texas) is one who has lost patience with the Biden regime. During a House Judiciary Committee markup Wednesday, Roy absolutely lit into Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) who Roy said “scoffed” when he brought up the fact that young girls are being raped at drug cartel stash houses near the border.

In a heated exchange, Roy pointed a finger at Nadler and other Democrats on the panel, telling them that he was “sick and tired” of Democrats “scoffing at Texas,” one of the states that gets hit the worst when the border surges take place. Roy also noted that Democrats on the committee didn’t seem to care that ranchers on the border were in some cases losing their livelihoods because their fences were getting cut by illegal immigrants and sex traffickers, who would let out livestock the ranchers had worked years to build up.

You saw the ambivalence, the disinterest, the utter contempt on Nadler’s face there as he was faced with the truth about what’s happening at the border and how it’s affecting little girls. He could literally care less and had no emotion, no compassion, whatsoever. That’s a video worth sharing with your Democrat friends.
