  • Microsoft warns of a major hacking event, code-named Volt Typhoon, that could impact internet servers of critical infrastructure, governments and private-sector actors.
  • The founder of the Oath Keepers gets a crazy-long prison sentence related to January 6, despite not being there and never telling anyone to become violent.
  • A former Michigan State business professor is being sued for forcing students to contribute money to Planned Parenthood.
  • Another major American company goes gaga for all things gay.
  • And the Associated Press is caught manipulating the news.

All these stories and more when the Worldview Report begins, right now!

Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, Microsoft has put out an alert for targeted malicious hacking activity focused on credentialed access to critical infrastructure systems in government and business in the United States, especially as it relates to communications with entities in Asia.

China is suspected as the culprit.

The attack is carried out by Volt Typhoon, a state-sponsored actor based in China that typically focuses on espionage and information gathering.

Microsoft assesses with “moderate confidence” that this Volt Typhoon campaign is pursuing development of capabilities that could disrupt critical communications infrastructure between the United States and the Asia region during future crises.

Volt Typhoon has been active since mid-2021 and has targeted critical infrastructure organizations in Guam and elsewhere in the United States. In the current campaign, the affected organizations span communications, manufacturing, utility, transportation, construction, maritime, government, education, and information technology, which means the internet could be down for some of the affected organizations.

Observed behavior suggests the threat actor intends to perform espionage and maintain access without being detected for as long as possible, Microsoft warned.

Volt Typhoon issues commands to (1) collect data, including passwords and other credentials from network systems, (2) put the data into an archive file to stage it for later use, and then (3) use the stolen valid credentials to maintain persistence.

Volt Typhoon also tries to blend into normal network activity by routing traffic through compromised small office and home office network equipment, including routers, firewalls, and VPN hardware. This hacker has also been observed using custom versions of open-source tools to establish a command-and-control channel over proxy to further stay under the radar.

Microsoft said compromised accounts must be closed or changed.

Could this be a prelude to a Chinese invasion of Taiwan? We’ll soon find out.

Elon Musk's brain-implant company, Neuralink, said on May 25th it received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval to launch a first of its kind in-human clinical study.

Musk, a notorious transhumanist, has been promoting Neuralink for years, claiming it will provide miracle cures for people with neurological disorders.

But the fact that it involves a computer chip implanted in the brain makes it extremely controversial and potentially dystopian.

This is definitely worth watching.

Stewart Rhodes, the 57-year-old founder of the Oath Keepers organization, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for his communications before and during January 6.

The Independent Sentinel reports that the judge met with five carefully-picked leftist “witnesses” who witnessed nothing of Stewart Rhodes. The Gateway Pundit detailed some of the witnesses’ statements.

Calling non-witnesses to witness is becoming quite popular in the show trials being held in leftist courts.

Rhodes was mostly – or only – convicted of thought crimes. It’s basically a life sentence for a 57-year-old man. He will spend at least double the amount of time in prison than your typical rapist.

He was convicted of seditious conspiracy, based on a Civil War-era law reimagined for the J6 political show trials.

The corrupt U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta, presiding over the Oath Keepers seditious conspiracy trial, evaluated the “terror enhancement” penalties the government is seeking. He wanted to justify what many see as an outrageous sentence for an absurd conviction.

The prosecutors wanted a 25-year sentence for Mr. Rhodes. Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs are the first people in the history of the United States convicted of seditious conspiracy using a Civil War law outside of one terrorist in New York City. Rhodes never went into the Capitol and never committed an act of violence. He and Meggs are on video helping a police officer.

Prosecutors say Stewart Rhodes and his allies must serve significant jail time to help reverse a growing undercurrent in society that has embraced political violence. What they’re really saying is they want to make sure people on the right never protest again. Rhodes never went into the Capitol, didn’t tell anyone to go there, and told people not to commit violence.

Compare his actions to those of the “mostly peaceful” summer of love in 2020, when protesters burned police precincts to the ground, looted stores and terrorized business owners for weeks. Only a handful were even prosecuted and those who were received nothing more than wrist slaps.

They claim the J6 protesters used force in their “insurrection” even though there was no violence and no firearms or knives presented. This may be the first weaponless insurrection in world history.

A former Michigan State business professor is being sued for compelling students to contribute money to fund Planned Parenthood.

Nathan Barbieri, who identified himself as a Christian, called the coerced $99 contribution a violation of his religious principles.

Amy Wisner is no longer employed by the university, which has refunded the “donations” to 600 students. Barbieri expressed distress that Planned Parenthood received money from him, and he and another student have sued the former professor.

Fox News Digital further reported that Barbieri, who sued his business professor for forcing her class to fund an entity which fundraised for Planned Parenthood and other progressive political causes, said that his Christian beliefs propelled him to fight back.

“My money is in the hands of Planned Parenthood,” the Michigan State University College of Business sophomore studying finance, said. He told Fox he was “very upset” about it.

“For me, as a Christian, it’s our calling. We’re supposed to expose the bad things that happen and not just sit back and… be abused. That’s our job,” he said.

Barbieri is one of two students suing his former business marketing professor, Amy Wisner, who identifies as an “intersectional feminist.” The university told Fox News Digital that Wisner is no longer employed at the institution. Her Instagram similarly reflected that she is a “former business communication professor.”

The lawsuit was filed Thursday by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a legal group defending religious freedom and First Amendment rights.

According to the lawsuit, the “far-left” professor compelled each of her 600 students to pay $99 for a membership, which collectively could have amounted to at most $59,400 for an entity called The Rebellion Community.

Wisner said, “The Rebellion Community is a safe place to coordinate our efforts to burn everything to the f—ing ground,” according to the lawsuit. A post of Wisner’s Facebook page said, “100% of membership fees are donated to Planned Parenthood.” Other causes it supported included those “dismantling oppressive systems.”

The university said that its business school personally refunded students for their contributions to The Rebellion Community, but Barbieri said it wasn’t enough.

“I funded that. And until that money is brought back, until it is out of [the professor’s] hands, it’s still with Planned Parenthood, or it’s still going towards an unethical organization,” he said.

Meanwhile, the race to go woke among America’s corporations hasn’t slowed down a bit.

The latest company to “come out” as LGBTQ-obsessed is The North Face.

The North Face is an American outdoor recreation products company, founded in 1968, that produces outdoor clothing, footwear, and related equipment.

Here’s its latest ad trending on Twitter.

America First Legal (AFL) released documents obtained from a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the U.S. Department of State, exposing how the State Department’s Global Engagement Center carries out state-sponsored propaganda by using willing participants in private media organizations.

Although the Global Engagement Center’s mission supposedly combats foreign disinformation abroad, the AFL previously uncovered that the Center supported the Biden White House National Security Council’s effort to share “Lessons Learned from CDC and Census on countering mis- and dis- information in real time” across the federal government, revealed the Global Engagement Center used taxpayer dollars to create a video game called “Cat Park” to “Inoculate Youth Against Disinformation,” and filed nine additional FOIA requests to obtain records about Global Engagement Center grants that outsource government propaganda and censorship to private entities.

AFL has long been committed to fighting the weaponization of government against free speech. On May 2, 2023, AFL filed a landmark lawsuit against private parties that conspired with the federal government to conduct a mass surveillance and censorship operation targeting the political speech of millions of Americans on social media platforms. The operation was specifically designed to target conservative political speech on questions of great public interest like election integrity, COVID-19 vaccines, and vaccine mandates.

The new documents released on May 25th reveal even more about how the Deep State, through the Global Engagement Center, conducts mass surveillance, censorship, and propaganda targeting dissenting views. These documents provide evidence that:

  • The Global Engagement Center coordinates with a global cartel of Soros-, Gates-, Omidyar-, and Big Tech-funded “fact-checkers” through the Poynter Institute’s International Fact-Checking Network to control the international media narrative.
  • Mainstream media organizations that were previously respected for critical investigative journalism now serve as mere organs of state media and purveyors of Deep State propaganda.
  • The Global Engagement Center provides financial support to media organizations, which compromises their supposed “independence” as journalists.

The final report of an exhaustive six-year study of fluoride neurotoxicity was blocked from public release by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in May 2022 according to the Fluoride Action Network (FAN).

The study, conducted by the National Toxicology Program, included in that exhaustive study was incontrovertible evidence that fluoride hinders the development of the brain in children who consume it at levels present in most public water systems.

But under an agreement reached in an ongoing lawsuit against the EPA, the report was finally made public on March 15 of this year with a table of contents. Included were comments from external peer-reviewers and internal HHS departments, along with responses from the National Toxicology Program.

The review considered all human studies of fluoride's effect on the developing brain. Its conclusion confirmed and strengthened the findings from two earlier drafts released in 2019 and 2020. External peer-reviewers all agreed with the conclusion that prenatal and early life fluoride exposures can reduce IQ.

The report was issued in two parts, a monograph and a meta-analysis. The meta-analysis found that 52 of 55 studies found lower IQ with higher fluoride exposures, demonstrating remarkable consistency. Of the 19 studies rated higher quality, 18 found lowering of IQ. The meta-analysis could not detect any safe exposure, including at levels common from drinking fluoridated water.

Growing human babies from scratch in a lab could be possible in just five years thanks to a new breakthrough, the Daily Mail reports.

Researchers in Japan are on the cusp of being able to create human eggs and sperm in the lab from scratch, which would then develop in an artificial womb.

Professor Hayashi, a Japanese scientist who has already figured out the process in mice, believes he is just five years away from replicating the results in humans.

This would present obvious ethical concerns, because women of any age could have babies. It would also trigger a dystopian Brave New World scenario of parents ordering up a designer child from commercial labs. There’s that word again: Dystopian.

The Japanese doctor and his team recently created seven mice with two male biological parents, using skin cells from a male mouse to form a viable egg and then fertilize it.

The ability to produce custom-made human sperm and eggs in the lab works by taking cells from a person's blood or skin and reprogramming them to become induced pluripotent stem cells, or iPS cells.

In theory, these cells can become any cell in the body, including egg and sperm cells.

They could then be used to make embryos and implanted into women's wombs.

Scientists have been able to make very basic human eggs and sperm this way, but have not yet been able to make embryos. They estimate that will take a few more years.

In a stunning turn of events, a member of the European Parliament for Croatia has publicly declared the World Health Organization a terrorist organization.

At a press conference where he was joined by Dr. Robert Malone and others, Mislav Kolakušić voiced his opposition to WHO’s proposal to have all countries sign an agreement giving the agency sole authority to declare pandemics and acquire vaccines and drugs.

He stated:

“I would like to briefly make the people aware of the upcoming danger for humanity. The World Health Organization wants all countries to sign an agreement on handing over the authority to declare a pandemic, procure vaccines, and drugs.” It would be healthier and safer for humanity to sign an agreement with the Colombian drug cartel, he said.

Lies, lies and more lies. Kudos to that politician for speaking the truth. I haven’t heard any national political leader in the U.S. raising much of a stink about this sovereignty handover, which is scheduled to take place one year from now in May of next year, unless some group of nations decides to stop it. But it will not be the U.S., that much we know, because it’s our country that is leading the charge to empower the World Health Organization as a unit of global governance.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday, for the second time in recent months, voted to rein in the powers of the federal Environmental Protection Agency.

ScotusBlog reports that the court established a more stringent test to determine whether the Clean Water Act applies to a wetland. The ruling was a setback for the Environmental Protection Agency and a victory for an Idaho couple, Michael and Chantell Sackett, who have been battling with the federal government for over 15 years in their efforts to build a house on an empty lot near a large lake.

The Sacketts’ legal battle began in 2007, shortly after they began backfilling their property to prepare the lot, which is about 300 feet from Priest Lake, for construction. The Sacketts received a notice from the EPA to stop work because their lot contains wetlands protected by the Clean Water Act, which bars the discharge of pollutants, including rocks and sand, into “navigable waters.”

The Act defines navigable waters as “waters of the United States.” The EPA reasoned that the wetlands on the Sacketts’ lot fed into a non-navigable creek that then led to Priest Lake.

In agreeing that the Sacketts’ lot is a wetland, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit applied the test outlined by Justice Anthony Kennedy in Rapanos v. United States: whether there is a “significant nexus” between the wetlands and waters that are covered by the Clean Water Act, and whether the wetlands “significantly affect” the quality of those waters.

But on Thursday the Supreme Court reversed the 9th Circuit’s ruling. Instead, Justice Samuel Alito explained, courts should apply a more stringent test, outlined by four justices in Rapanos, in which the Clean Water Act applies to a particular wetland only if it blends or flows into a neighboring water that is a channel for interstate commerce.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Earlier in this broadcast we reported how a branch of the federal government seduces private media outlets to do its bidding as disseminators of state-sponsored propaganda.

An example of how media companies deceive the public recently played out in the way the Associated Press covered the retail giant Target’s woke business practices.

Thanks to the Associated Press, the rest of the corporate mainstream media are still spinning lies about the reason Target removed some of its LGBTQ merchandise for kids and moved some displays from the front of the stores to the back.

The Associated Press quietly removed from its articles uncredited claims suggesting that Target had yanked or relocated LGBTQ merchandise in response to “threats to its workers” and “violent confrontations” between customers and employees.

Just the News noticed the wire service made the false claims in its own voice in the headline and first paragraph of the report posted Tuesday night, May 23. The AP did not attribute those claims to Target or any other source. It simply declared that employees had been threatened, despite providing no evidence of threats or violence. The AP story was then widely carried by hundreds of other media outlets across the country.

Those claims disappeared a day later without a correction or editor's note. The revised headline states Target “suffered backlash for LGBTQ+ support,” while the revised opening paragraph cited “intense backlash from some customers who confronted workers and tipped over displays.”

AP still provided no evidence even for those claims, reported Just the News.

Some media outlets changed the story to the surreptitiously corrected version, though the original headline still appears widely in search results. Other outlets kept the original, including The HillAOLCBS NewsYahoo Finance and Fox 9 in Target's home base of Minneapolis.

This is how the fake news media operates in America. They put out a baseless account of a news event, then quietly walk it back with no correction after all of the other outlets have picked up the original fake account of what happened.

This is as Orwellian as it is despicable. Shame on the Associated Press, which clearly has abandoned whatever journalistic standards it once had.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in, and for supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.

Until next time, I’m Brannon Howse. Take care.
