Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) was revealed as Donald Trump's runningmate on Monday as the Republican National Convention got underway in Milwaukee, bringing all speculation to a close and finalizing the 2024 GOP ticket ahead of November's election.
Trump announced the pick in a post to Truth Social:
“After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio. J.D. honorably served our Country in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State University in two years, Summa Cum Laude, and is a Yale Law School Graduate, where he was Editor of The Yale Law Journal, and President of the Yale Law Veterans Association. J.D.’s book, ‘Hillbilly Elegy,’ became a Major Best Seller and Movie, as it championed the hardworking men and women of our Country. J.D. has had a very successful business career in Technology and Finance, and now, during the Campaign, will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American Workers and Farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond….”

Congressman Jason Crow (D-CO) said during a television interview that the Democratic Party has not asked its members to tone down their extremist rhetoric directed at Donald Trump or the Republican Party after Trump was shot on Saturday in an attempted assassination.
Crow made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CBS News Face The Nation when asked by host Margaret Brennan about terms that Democrats have used to attack Trump.
“Democrats have referred to Donald Trump as a sociopath, as a narcissist,” she said, downplaying the true extent of the what Democrats say about Trump — whom they routinely compare to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and claim will destroy American democracy.
“Do you think at this moment, all of that should stop?” she asked.
The Democrat Congressman responded that “we all need to take a step back, we all need to take a breather.”
When asked if Democratic leadership had conveyed that message to party members, Crow responded: “They have not.”

A U.S. judge in Florida on Monday stunningly dismissed the criminal case accusing Donald Trump of illegally keeping classified documents after leaving office, handing the former president another major legal victory as he seeks a return to the White House.
U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ruled that Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is leading the prosecution, was unlawfully appointed to his role and did not have the constitutional authority to bring the case against Trump.
According to Reuters, the judge found that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who named Smith in 2022 to oversee investigations involving Trump, did not have the authority “to appoint a federal officer with the kind of prosecutorial power wielded by Special Counsel Smith.”
Cannon also found that Smith's investigation has been improperly funded through a permanent and unlimited fund Congress set aside in the 1980s for independent investigations.
It marked another bombshell legal win for Trump.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on July 1 that Trump cannot be prosecuted for actions that were within his constitutional powers as president.
Cannon's ruling came two days after Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in western Pennsylvania. Trump has been formally named the Republican presidential nominee in Milwaukee this week, challenging Democratic President Joe Biden in the Nov. 5 U.S. election.
Prosecutors are likely to appeal Cannon's ruling.
Trump, in a social media post, said Cannon's ruling should be “just the first step” in dismissing all four of the outstanding criminal charges against him. He called on all Americans to unify during this time of hyper division, writing:
“Let us come together to END all Weaponization of our Justice System.”

A veteran sniper has cast doubt on the official narrative surrounding the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
Dallas Alexander, a former Canadian military sniper with 14 years of experience, has suggested that the 20-year-old gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, may have received assistance from within an agency, organization, or even the government.
“I’m very familiar with the layout of these types of things and what the job should be, and yesterday what happened,” he said in the now viral video.
“I have no doubts in my mind that the shooter had help from somewhere within an agency, an organization or the government.”

The incident, which occurred on Saturday night during a Trump rally, has left the nation reeling.
The alleged shooter, Crooks, armed with an AR-style rifle, managed to position himself on a rooftop just 130 yards from where Trump was speaking.
The placement of Crooks and his being able to fire off shots towards the former president have sparked mass speculation about the near-assassination and the Secret Service’s role in the entire event.
The bullet narrowly missed Trump, grazing his right ear.

RealClearPolitics White House and National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree dropped an important report on the failure of the Secret Service to protect President Donald J. Trump and those around him during last week’s Pennsylvania rally.
According to Crabtree, the potential lack of drones and the DEI protocols at the Secret Service contributed to the failure, but the biggest reason Trump’s life was put in danger is because rules of engagement prohibit snipers from engaging until the assassin shoots first.
Here’s an excerpt from Crabtree’s report, which she posted to X:
“The blowback against the Secret Service started within the hour of the assassination attempt and continued even after Trump and others credited the agency with saving Trump’s life by quickly killing a shooter crawling across a nearby rooftop. But a source within the Secret Service community tells RealClearPolitics that the agency rules of engagement in this situation are to wait until the president is fired upon to return fire.
The source stated: “You want to take a shot then find out the guy was holding a telescope? The Secret Service is by nature reactive…and you better be right when you do react or you’re f-----d.”
She further reported, and here’s the shocking part:
“The Secret Service protocol requires that a counter sniper aware of a potential shooter to radio directly to intelligence division team to respond and investigate. In this case, the investigation may have been cut short by the shooter firing his weapon, so the counter sniper then fired as quickly as possible in return. The source praised the counter sniper who acquired the target and responded within three seconds, calling their performance ‘incredible.’”
The military expert also told RealClear Politics that:
“The counter snipers are highly trained and extremely accurate. Others with law enforcement and military backgrounds want to know whether the Secret Service utilized drones, i.e. small unmanned aircraft systems, to provide detailed situational awareness. If the agency did not use drones, why not, these experts ask. The use of drones has been a controversial issue within the agency since at least 2016. Implementing drones would have provided detailed line-of-sight analysis and aerial surveillance that would have easily identified the rooftop as a potential threat area. The U.S. Secret Service has access to all the best imagery and elevation data. I’m not saying they didn’t [use drones], but it’s an open question.”

Donald Trump is alive in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and ready for the Republican National Convention, which kicked off on Monday. This event comes just two days after the attempted assassination of the former president in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump escaped death by millimeters.
Along with the June 27 debate, where Trump demolished Joe Biden, this event, albeit a tragic one, might have sealed the deal regarding the election.
That feeling is reportedly strong among Democrats on Capitol Hill, where one senior House member said there is resignation that Donald Trump will be back in the Oval Office come January.
And, at least for now, the movement to oust Biden from the ticket has lost momentum in the aftermath of Trump’s attempted assassination.
According to a report by Axios:
“A second senior House Democrat told Axios that the Trump shooting has taken some of the heat off because it would be bad form to make any statements against President Biden. Another Biden-skeptical Democrat, asked about lingering questions around the president's candidacy, told Axios: ‘I don't think that's the focus right now.’”

One of Cox’s connections on Facebook, Angela Agosta, wrote, “And now he will be America’s hero who survived an assassination attempt. The way the crowd was chanting USA, USA as he was leaving the stage was so scary.”
Cox then replied, “Right? Even if he had been killed (too bad they missed) he’d become a Martyr to their fascist cause.”
Another leftist commenter, Jessica Corley, agreed with Cox’s wish for the 45th President to have died, writing, “I could have lived with that.”

The globalist war on meat continues to pick up steam.
An outfit called “The Better Meat Company” has received a no-questions letter of approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in response to its determination that its Rhiza mycoprotein is generally safe for human consumption.
Rhiza is a fake-meat product made from fungus.
A report by Agfunder News states:
“The FDA letter is the first to cover a meat-replacing mycoprotein strain outside of the Fusarium genus. It is also the first to include a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) evaluation of mycoprotein as a meat enhancer, claims Better Meat Co. cofounder and CEO Paul Shapiro, who adds:
“Meats enhanced with Rhiza mycoprotein not only have dramatically superior yields after cooking, along with improved texture, but they also have substantially less saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories, while boasting more fiber and potassium.”
BMC currently supplies NorCal restaurants with Rhiza-based steaks, carne asada, and foie gras from its plant in Sacramento, and “has numerous paid collaborations with our joint development partnerships” and “multiple signed letters of intent and offtake agreements,” claims Shapiro.
However, it is “unable to commercially supply major CPG brands until we scale up,” acknowledges Shapiro, who has raised $27 million to date but needs a further influx of capital to manufacture Rhiza at meaningful scale.
A protein-packed whole food ingredient made from filamentous fungi, the CEO boasts that Rhiza mycoprotein has a high protein digestibility score. On a dry weight basis, it contains 40-50% protein and 30% fiber.

In a related story, Midwestern grocery store chain Meijer will now begin selling a vegan meat alternative that is made from fungus at 260 stores, across 6 states – Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Meati Foods announced its Eat Meati™ will be sold in four different options: the Classic Cutlets and Classic Steaks, Crispy Cutlets, and Carne Asada Steaks; with two units in each package.
The company produces what is called mycelium-based meat (fungus-based), cultivated and fermented in vats similar to beer.
Meijer states on its website:
“That’s why we do everything ourselves, from growing and nurturing our mushroom root main ingredient, to creating our nutrient-rich, sustainable, whole-cut products.”
The product is already available since March in all 380 Sprouts Farmers Market stores, according to Vegconomist.

Outkick.com reports that the top political adviser to Democrat mega-donor and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman sent an email Saturday encouraging mainstream corporate journalists to raise the possibility that the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was “staged.”
The news site Semafor obtained the following email from Hoffman's advisor, Dmitri Mehlhorn, sent to reporters after the shooting:
“[One] possibility -- which feels horrific and alien and absurd in America, but is quite common globally -- is that this ‘shooting’ was encouraged and maybe even staged so Trump could get the photos and benefit from the backlash. This is a classic Russian tactic, such as when Putin killed 300 civilians in 1999 and blamed it on terrorists to ride the backlash to winning power. Others who have embraced this tactic of committing raw evil and then benefitting from the backlash include Hamas on October 7. If any Trump officials encouraged or knew of this attack, that is morally horrific, and Republicans of decency must demand that Trump step down as unfit.”
While Mehlhorn acknowledged that “some crazy anti-Trumper in this chaotic moment” deciding to try and assassinate the former president is also a possibility – his gut tells him the false flag theory is more likely.
The adviser concluded by expressing disappointment that journalists had not already considered running with the storyline of a fake shooting.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.
Paul Serran, writing for The Gateway Pundit, reports that globalists love to paint conservative Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán as “Putin’s pawn,” but nothing could be further from the truth.
Add to Orbán’s constant resistance to open borders and unbridled military support for Ukraine, and Serran says Orbán has become the man all European elites love to hate.
So, when it was Hungary’s turn at the helm of the rotating of the EU Presidency, and Orbán decided to go on a one-man peace initiative around the world, the liberal elites decided it was time to stop him for good.
It now arises that many EU foreign affairs ministers will snub Hungary by boycotting Budapest’s foreign affairs summit, set to take place August 28-29, by attending another event, specially created to disrupt it.
Politico reported:
“Enter Josep Borrell. The EU’s foreign policy chief will summon the ministers to a ‘formal’ foreign affairs council at the same time as Orbán’s summit, according to three EU diplomats… It comes after Hungary’s envoy to the EU was harshly criticized by his colleagues at a meeting earlier this month, with Slovakia the only country not taking the floor. By boycotting its foreign affairs summit, the ministers hope to limit Hungary’s trolling.”
You read that right: Politico calls Hungary’s foreign policy trolling.
Serran notes that globalist Euro fanatics insist that Orbán’s government “has been backsliding on democratic norms and the rule of law,” according to the Politico hit piece. But this is common globalist terminology, Serran points out, for “refusing globalist policies that they deem mandatory.
“Other EU countries’ ministers have been willing to show Hungary the cold shoulder. At the first meeting of Hungary’s presidency, hosted in Budapest to discuss industrial policy, only seven ministers from other countries showed up. No commissioner attended, either. Boycotting what is supposed to be a stellar event for the country that holds the presidency to showcase itself on the world stage is an even bigger snub, intended to take the wind out of Orbán’s sails.”
The bottom line is this: Viktor Orban, like President Trump here in America and Prime Minister Robert Fico of Slovakia, are among the leaders of the anti-globalist movement in the West. Trump and Fico have both been shot by would-be assassins and survived, while Orbán is being railroaded out of the EU leadership position.
What more evidence do we need of an international conspiracy to destroy Western civilization and make it subservient to a new international order?
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting the broadcast.
Until next time…
