Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

In a significant political development, Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) has formally requested that President Trump refrain from enforcing the REAL ID requirement for American air travelers, which is scheduled to take effect on May 7.

The REAL ID Act was passed in 2005 in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks, aiming to enhance security measures in the United States. It establishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards, mandating that states comply with these standards to allow their IDs to be accepted for federal purposes, including boarding commercial flights.

In his statement, Congressman Massie argues that the REAL ID requirement is unnecessary and will not effectively prevent acts of terrorism. He pointed out that most of the hijackers involved in the 9/11 attacks held passports from countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Lebanon, implying that the focus should be on identifying threats rather than imposing additional identification requirements on American citizens.

Massie’s comments highlight a broader debate about security measures in the post-9/11 era. Critics of the REAL ID Act have long questioned its effectiveness, arguing that it places undue burdens on citizens while failing to address the root causes of terrorism. By advocating for the repeal of this requirement, Massie aligns with those who prioritize personal freedoms and privacy over increased governmental regulations and what I would say is outright harassment of law-abiding citizens.

Massie’s request to President Trump has garnered attention on social media and among political commentators. Supporters of his stance argue that the REAL ID requirement infringes on personal liberties and represents a form of government overreach.

Conservative military veterans are in an uproar over a new Department of Defense reinstatement form that they say whitewashes the truth about their forced separations during the COVID-19 vaccine mandate era.

Jim Hoft, writing for The Gateway Pundit, reports that veterans who once wore the uniform with honor are now being told that if they want back in, they must lie on paper and pretend they left the military of their own free will.

The Department of Defense has released updated guidance officially inviting back thousands of service members who were involuntarily separated for refusing to comply with the now-defunct COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The move comes under Executive Order 14184, signed by President Donald Trump on January 27, 2025, and implemented by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The order compels the Pentagon to offer reinstatement to any military personnel—active or reserve—who were forced out solely for refusing the COVID shot.

The new policy outlines a comprehensive process for both involuntary and voluntary separations.

For those involuntarily discharged, the Military Departments are tasked with identifying and contacting eligible former service members, offering them reinstatement through the Boards for Correction of Military/Naval Records.

The process includes medical pre-screening, expedited record reviews, and potential financial benefits like back pay, restored rank, and credit for lost service time, subject to offsets such as wages earned post-separation.

Reinstatement requires a four-year service commitment, with a two-year option for those nearing retirement eligibility.

Service members who voluntarily left or allowed their service to lapse to avoid vaccination can also apply to return.

They must submit a sworn statement attesting to their decision and meet retention standards.

People who received a flu vaccine formulated for the 2024-2025 flu season had a 27% higher risk of getting the flu than those who didn’t get the vaccine, suggesting “the vaccine has not been effective in preventing influenza this season,” according to a new preprint study.

The study of 53,402 employees of the Cleveland Clinic, an Ohio-based nonprofit academic medical center, concluded that the flu vaccine had a negative effectiveness rate of 26.9%.

TrialSite News called the findings “deeply concerning” because they suggest “harm rather than protection” and contradict public health narratives about the flu vaccine.

Epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher said:

“This Cleveland Clinic study reveals the complete failure of annual flu vaccines. Americans are tired of toxin-loaded injectable products that backfire and deteriorate their health.”

Dr. Clayton J. Baker said the study “strongly suggests the shot was outright harmful.” He said the findings “not only demonstrate that this year’s flu shot was a disaster, but it calls into serious question the whole endeavor of seasonal, population-wide vaccines for respiratory viruses.”

The New York Post reports that a 52-year-old Florida woman was recently arrested after she knowingly bought and sold human bones online, police say.

Kymberlee Anne Schopper of Deltona was charged with trading in human tissue, according to the Orange City Police Department.

Schopper was released Friday from the Volusia County Jail on $7,500 bond.

Police received a report Dec. 21, 2023, about a local business selling human bones on Facebook Marketplace, FOX 35 Orlando reported.

Officers were sent images from the business’s Facebook page, which allegedly advertised the disturbing items.

The Orange City business, Wicked Wonderland, was selling on its website two human skulls for $90, a human clavicle and scapula for $90, a human rib for $35, human vertebrae for $35 and a partial human skull for $600, according to authorities.

Police took the human remains as evidence and submitted them for testing by a medical examiner, FOX 35 Orlando reported.

When asked about the products, a shop owner told authorities the shop sold human bones for years and did not know it was illegal in Florida, according to the report.

The arrest affidavit states:

“She confirmed that the store had multiple human bone fragments, all purchased from private sellers, and mentioned she has documentation for these transactions but could not provide it at that moment. She described the bones as genuine human remains and delicate in nature.”

The FBI has placed one of the central figures who concocted the Russia Gate hoax on administrative leave, signaling what appears to be a long-overdue purge of officials who undermined President Donald Trump in his first term.

The official, Brian Auten, was among the agents peddling the Russia collusion hoax during the 2016 presidential election. Equally damning, he worked on the FBI’s investigation of the Hunter Biden laptop—a probe that whistleblowers said did not receive proper scrutiny, likely in a bid to protect former President Joe Biden.

Auten’s suspension, reported first on Friday by the liberal New York Times, comes as no surprise.

During his FBI tenure, Auten would quickly rise to become the FBI’s top Russian analyst. In 2016 and 2017, he infamously cleared the Steele dossier— a collection of salacious allegations created for Hillary Clinton’s campaign which sought to tie Donald Trump to the Kremlin. The dossier became the central piece of evidence used by the FBI to obtain warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

Auten also never informed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court about the FBI’s longstanding concerns about FBI informant Igor Danchenko, who helped Christopher Steele compile his bogus dossier.

Auten was later suspended 30 days for that fiasco.

In Government Gangsters, Kash Patel documents how more than 50 corrupt actors within the deep state actively worked to undermine Trump’s election and subsequent administration after 2016.

Patel wrote, as quoted by The Times:

“Yet just like his superiors, Auten has faced no real accountability in light of these findings. The fact that Auten was not fired from the F.B.I. and prosecuted for his part in the Russia Gate conspiracy is a national embarrassment.”

According to Patel, the FBI attempted to “hide and spin” the Biden family corruption revealed by the laptop.

Billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel endorses President Donald Trump’s push to recalibrate the U.S.-China trade relationship for greater balance.

Thiel, the sole prominent Silicon Valley figure to back Trump in 2016, told fellow billionaire tech investor and American Optimist host Joe Lonsdale that while he’s cautious about commenting on the details of Trump’s trade tariffs on China, he supports the need for a reset in relations with the communist regime.

Thiel told Lonsdale:

“I’m hesitant to comment since obviously it's a very, very fluid situation, but something like the sort of reset that they're talking about now seems where we're going, where you need a very drastic reset with China. In theory you need to reset with other people, but what we really need to get them to do is also reset things with China.”

He went on to say in that interview that he believes some industrial capacity should be moved from China to the U.S. where it will be handled mostly by AI and robots, and the rest should be moved to another communist country, Vietnam.

For the second time this year, Goldman Sachs has raised its gold price forecast, with a year-end target price of $3,700. And, in extreme cases, it could reach $4,500, the investment banking firm said.

Against the backdrop of market volatility and rising recession risks, Goldman Sachs has recently significantly raised its gold price forecast.

In a report released on April 11th, Goldman Sachs increased the target price for gold at the end of 2025 from $3,300 per ounce to $3,700 per ounce, and expects a trading range of $3,650 to $3,950.

This adjustment reflects stronger-than-expected central bank gold purchases, increased recession risks boosting ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds) inflows, and gold's unique status as a safe-haven asset.

Slay News reports that Dr. Anthony Fauci has been hit with criminal referrals from seven states over deaths and injuries caused by Covid mRNA injections and other pandemic-related charges.

This week, legal groups filed formal criminal referral requests to the attorneys general of Arizona and Pennsylvania.

The referrals were submitted by the Vires Law Group and the Former Feds Group Freedom Foundation.

The groups are urging state prosecutors to open criminal investigations into Fauci and other prominent public health and government officials.

Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is accused of committing multiple crimes during and after the pandemic.

The crimes include murder, involuntary manslaughter, negligent homicide, terrorism, and more.

Most of the allegations are related to pandemic-era protocols, such as deaths and injuries caused by Covid so-called vaccines, which Fauci pushed onto the public.

Other allegations are related to lethal hospital protocols, denial of life-saving treatments such as ivermectin, and issues related to lockdown measures.

The criminal referrals include detailed supporting evidence of the alleged crimes.

The filings include the stories of over 80 victims and families. The groups say Fauci’s actions caused widespread injury and death.

Arizona and Pennsylvania join five other states in pursuing criminal charges against Fauci.

So far, criminal referrals have also been filed against Fauci in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Andy Stanley’s Atlanta-area megachurch North Point Community Church is facing pushback for a leaked training video that suggests Christian pastors should support children with gender dysphoria transitioning to a different sex than that which they were created by God.

In a video clip posted by Protestia, Britt Kitchen, the North Point Middle School Ministries director, discusses a family who began attending North Point Community Church after their previous church refused to use their child’s preferred pronouns. The child reportedly began identifying as transgender at 5 years old.

Kitchen states in the video:

“Everywhere this child went in life, they were saying you are one thing, but only at church they had to pretend to be something else. They had to leave that church, and they finally came here, started talking to our care ministry staff. And we realized, ‘Oh my goodness. We cannot be the last place a student feels comfortable.’”

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

Catholic Bishop Robert Barron is bringing attention to the latest corporate media attempt to delegitimize Christianity. Of course, it’s obligatory for the media to come out with a story debunking Christianity around this time of year, every year.

This year it was the New Yorker’s turn to take pot shots. It published an essay titled, “We’re Still Not Done with Jesus,” tracing the contours of scholarly debate about the origins of Christianity.

The chief problem with the essay, as noted by Blaze Media, is that it refused to seriously consider the biblical account of Christianity and Christ as historical fact, a record preserved in the New Testament.

As Ross Douthat explained, the essay frames the historical issues of Christianity as either “mythologized and invented, but on the basis of some set of true events” or “illusory and inaccessible and the books of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John as pure literary-mystical inventions.”

The New Yorker refused to interact with the position held by nearly every confessional Christian.

Douthat explained:

“Entirely absent is any meaningful treatment of the arguments for taking the Gospels seriously as what they claim to be: eyewitness accounts, or syntheses of eyewitness accounts, with a straightforward claim to basic historical credibility.”

For his part, Barron believes the timing of the essay is no accident.

Barron said in a recent video:

“This review amounts to an attempt to debunk a faith that is sacred to well over 2 billion people around the world. And you know what struck me? As I finished reading it, I noticed, ‘Oh yeah, it's in the March 31st edition of the New Yorker. It's almost Easter time.’ And so, as the swallows come back to Capistrano, predictably, so the mainstream media typically chooses Easter as a time to debunk Christianity.”

It's easy to see the motive behind the essay, Barron suggested, not only because of the timing, but because it is seriously biased.

For example, it cites only scholars critical of confessional Christianity, not faithfully Christian biblical scholars, while regurgitating academic arguments about the origins of Christianity that are “as old as the hills and as tired as they can be,” according to Barron, and that seek to delegitimize Christianity.

Such arguments include:

  • That Christianity is based on unsettled and unreliable historical documents.
  • That Christianity is a myth, akin to other ancient myths about dying and rising gods.
  • That Christianity is just a “cult of victimhood.”

In other words, these skeptics of Christianity are not dealing in objective historiography but demonstrating their “deep prejudice against the supernatural,” Barron explained.

Barron also observed:

“Why, I wonder, are there no similar pieces on Islam written during Ramadan? Why is Upper East Side condescension not directed toward the Qur’an, a book sacred to 1.8 billion people? The questions answer themselves of course. Yet, it’s always open season on Christianity.”

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.

Until next time…
