Breitbart posted a new article on Bill Gates that is definitely worth the read.

It urges Americans to “begin preparing now for the appearance of ‘even more fatal’ variants of coronavirus in the future.” That’s the advice from Gates who warned Sunday that a global health surveillance pact driven by increased funding for the World Health Organization is one way to forestall pandemic outbreaks.

Gates said he did not want to sound “doom and gloom” but of course he was.

He warned there was a risk an “even more transmissive and even more fatal” variant could be generated.

In fact, Gates has been returning to the media circuit lately, giving interviews to favorable press who treat him like a mini god, never pressing him with hard questions, probably because to do so would hurt their own financial fortunes. Gates hands out tens of thousands in grants to major media companies every year through his foundation.

In an interview with the Financial Times of London, Gates said the risk of a new even scarier variant happening is “way above five percent” and would mean the world has yet to see the worst of what a pandemic can do.

Gates cautioned that while the war in Ukraine dominates the international agenda, global leaders should not lose sight of the health crisis.

He called for greater investment to prevent future pandemics. “It seems wild to me that we could fail to look at this tragedy and not, on behalf of the citizens of the world, make these investments,” Gates told the FT.

Of course, Gates stands to make lots of money whenever governments “invest” in lockdowns, fear-driven propaganda and then push vaccines as the only answer.

Governor Ron DeSantis is not backing down from his pledge to shut down Disney’s self-governing status in Florida.

And he said Disney is wrong about the state having to pay a $1 billion bond before any elimination of the Reedy Creek Improvement District were to go into effect.

Disney recently told investors “the state would be unable to dissolve the district without paying for the district's outstanding debt obligations of about $1 billion,” reports WPTV in Orlando, adding, “In the meantime, the district is considering its options while conducting business as usual.”

The bonded indebtedness is in the Reedy Creek Act the state enacted in May 1967, the district said in a statement filed with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.

In an Orlando town hall with Fox News, DeSantis said Disney will be paying their own bond debt:

"It just simply ends with them being treated the same as every other company in Florida. They're going to follow laws. They're not going to have their own government. They're going to pay their debts, pay their taxes."

With Elon Musk taking over Twitter and Donald Trump sending out messages over his own new social media platform, Truth Social, and platforms like this one at Frankspeech growing at their expense, a panel of “experts” on CNN lamented over the weekend that they may be losing control of the narrative.

While discussing the Musk takeover on CNN’s potato time with Brain Stelter, “media analyst” David Zurawik proclaimed that Musk is “dangerous” and shouldn’t be allowed to restore free speech on the platform.

Zurawik suggested that the U.S. look to Europe, which has recently brought in new laws to limit free speech on social media, and even threatened to ban Twitter if Musk doesn’t play ball.

“There’s a bigger problem here about how we’re going to control the channels of communications in this country,” Zurawik frothed, panicking at the notion of the likes of CNN not being able to dictate what Americans think.

“This is dangerous! We can’t think anymore in this country!” Zurawik whined, adding “I’m serious! We don’t have people in Congress who can make regulations, that can make it work.”

A new bill introduced by Congresswoman Lauren Boebert would eliminate Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board, dubbed a ‘Ministry of Truth’ by critics, before it ever gets off the ground.

The Department of Homeland Security recently announced that the new unit will focus primarily on “misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared on CNN Sunday to assert that the board will not have “operational authority” and will instead “disseminate those best practices to the operators that have been executing and addressing this threat for years,” whatever that means.

Now Congresswoman Boebert wants to introduce a bill to defund the DHS disinformation board. The full text of the bill can be read here.

“This kind of stuff is terrifying. We in Congress have the power of the purse. It is our duty to shut down this department immediately,” Boebert told Fox News. “I’m calling on leadership in the Republican Party – Leader McCarthy, Whip Scalise, and others — to join me in calling for this department to be shut down and defunded.”

“No tax dollars should go to where Biden can use the power of the federal government to silence truthful stories like Big Tech did with the Hunter Biden story,” Boebert said, comparing the disinformation board to the Ministry of Truth in Orwell’s 1984.

Meanwhile, while Homeland Security Chief Mayorkas is concerned about Americans voicing dissident opinions, his agency is making preparations to welcome up to half a million illegal migrants into the country once Title 42 expires later this month.

And that’s every month. Yes, you heard that right. Upwards of 500,000 new illegals every month for the foreseeable future. That’s the Biden plan.

But don’t worry, says Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas — his agency has been preparing for this since last fall and, if we’re lucky, it might only be 400,000 or so every month.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday, Mayorkas insisted the system could handle the additional numbers because “we prepare and we plan” to welcome the world to our shores.

But, as The Western Journal has been documenting, the administration “is scarcely prepared for what it’s handling now — and that’s far less than half-a-million illegal immigrants per month.”

According to an ABC News report, implementation of Title 42 — a World War II-era section of public health law – will be allowed to expire by the Biden administration on May 23.

A Russian state television program is making headlines across the United Kingdom after a media presenter featured a simulated demonstration of how the Russian navy's nuclear submarines would take out the UK with ease.

Zero Hedge reports that the segment aired late last week on public broadcaster "Channel One" and featured the chairman of the nationalist Rodina political party, Aleksey Zhuravlyov, who declared that "one Sarmat missile and the British Isles will be no more." 

The segment aired in the context of the UK's military support to Ukraine, which has included repeat planeloads of weapons, including anti-tank systems and munitions.

That's when the segment transitioned to news anchor Dmitry Kiselyov describing the following as a graphic of a submarine played behind him:

"It approaches its target at a depth of 1km at a speed of 200km/h. There's no way of stopping this underwater drone. The warhead on it has a yield of up to 100 megatons."

"The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo by Britain's coastline will cause a gigantic tsunami wave up to 500m high."

The clip from the segment, which is now being widely shared in the West, is in Russian but you will be able get the message from the graphics presented.

Almost everyone has heard of Tesla electric vehicles spontaneously exploding over the years, but never an electric bus, until now. 

Last Friday, a video surfaced online of French public transport operator RATP's bus bursting into flames within seconds in Paris. The fire illustrates the dangers of electric vehicles. Luckily the bus wasn't crowded, and passengers were able to exit quickly, according to Zero Hedge.

It’s a miracle no one was injured in that blast.

AFP notes that all 149 electric buses manufactured by Bollore SA have been taken off the road. 

"The bus driver immediately evacuated all the passengers. Nobody was hurt," RATP said. The city's fire department said the blaze took 30 firefighters to extinguish. 

This isn't the first time one of these buses caught fire. On April 4, in central Paris, another bus experienced a similar explosion.

In both incidents, there were no injuries. The video is shocking because it shows only a few seconds for the lithium batteries to ignite, giving occupants inside the bus barely any time to exit.

Well, we finally got a favorable decision out of the Supreme Court, and this time, surprisingly, it was unanimous.

The city government of Boston had allowed a gay 'pride' flag and the flags of other countries to be flown, but not a Christian flag.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously Monday that the city of Boston violated the First Amendment by refusing to allow the flying of a Christian flag in front of city hall.

In Shurtleff v. Boston, the court’s decision penned by liberal Justice Stephen Breyer reasoned that because the city of Boston’s flag-raising program “did not express government speech,” Boston’s refusal to let petitioners fly their “Christian flag” “violated the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment.”

According to LifeSite News, the decision noted that Boston “approved the raising of about 50 unique flags” for 284 ceremonies held on the plaza between 2005 and 2017, most of which were the flags of other countries, but some of which “were associated with groups or causes, such as the [homosexual] Pride Flag,” or “a banner honoring emergency medical service workers.”

Breyer pointed out that while “flags on Boston’s City Hall Plaza usually convey the city’s messages, Boston’s lack of meaningful involvement in the selection of” various private groups’ flags, and in “the crafting of their messages, leads the Court to classify the third-party flag raisings as private, not government, speech.”

Harold Shurtleff, the director of an association called Camp Constitution, asked to celebrate the “contributions of the Christian community” and fly what he described as the “Christian flag,” emblazoned with a cross, in City Hill Plaza in 2017. His request was denied by the commissioner of Boston’s Property Management Department, who was concerned that “flying a religious flag at City Hall could violate the Establishment Clause and found no past instance of the city’s having raised such a flag,” wrote Breyer. He therefore allowed Shurtleff to hold an event on the plaza, but not raise their flag.

That will change from now on. Congratulations to the plaintiffs in this case.

The Rino Republican governor of Vermont, Phil Scott, has signed an assisted suicide law that will allow doctor-assisted killings via telemedicine.

The assisted suicide legislation, signed into law April 27, will allow physicians to remotely prescribe “medication to be self-administered for the purpose of hastening the patient’s death.”

Patients can make requests “in the physician’s physical presence or by telemedicine, if the physician determines the use of telemedicine to be clinically appropriate, for medication to be self-administered for the purpose of hastening the patient’s death,” reports LifeSite News.

The pro-life media outlet reports that a physician must still physically examine the patient, but it does not have to be the same one prescribing the life-ending drugs.

The doctor must affirm the patient “was suffering a terminal condition” and this must be “based on the physician’s review of the patient’s relevant medical records and a physician’s physical examination of the patient.”

The new legislation removes the restriction from the previous so-called “patient choice at end of life” laws that patients had to make their requests for noxious drugs in person.

Attorney and bioethics commentator Wesley Smith commented on the legislation for National Review and said it is another example of how guidelines to protect against the abuse of terminally ill patients are being eroded.

Smith wrote:

“Strict guidelines protect against abuse. Except they were never strict, and those that do exist are not intended to stick. As soon as people become comfortable with doctors participating in their patients’ suicides, the ‘protections’ touted so loudly are suddenly redefined as ‘obstacles,’ and ‘access’ to facilitated death ‘is improved’ by making it easier to be made dead.”

The city of Shanghai, China, is home to the world’s busiest port and the lockdowns implemented there by the Chinese Communist Party have forced 25 million people to stay home, undergo mass viral testing, and in some cases to be forced vaccination. That’s three times as many people as live in New York City.

Shanghai accounts for 7.3% of exports from the country and 14.4% of imports. Many of these exports come from the semiconductor manufacturing center in Shanghai and many automobile manufacturers also have plants in Shanghai making auto parts.

P&G, Nike, General Electric and Apple all have major manufacturing centers in Shanghai. Each of these corporations and industries, as well as the goods produced and exported, are affected by these lockdowns, which have never slowed the spread of any virus.

The Burning Platform, in an extremely well-documented article posted Monday, notes that “it’s crucial to know and understand what is happening to the people of China as internet censors are removing information and mainstream media are not covering the full extent of the story. Much of the surveillance and data gathering that support these brutal attacks on the people come from a QR code system that has been in place since February 2020.

“Individuals must download the app on their phones to go to stores or ride public transportation. Without approval from the system, people are locked out. The system monitors activities and reports them directly to the police, an action that is not widely known or understood. This is the type of vaccine passport system some would like to be released around the world.”

This is the upgraded, beefed-up social credit scoring system on steroids that has been implemented in China and being rolled out post-Covid in Australia and many other countries that we once thought of as free. About ten U.S. cities implemented a version of it for a few months before backing off. But the technology, developed by a quasi U.S. military organization called MITRE, is already in place or being set up in 21 states. All they are waiting for is the next scary variant to be declared by the unelected bureaucrats at the CDC.

Remember folks, we are living under emergency law. The Constitution has been sidelined by the national state of emergency that was first declared in March 2020 and continues to be extended by Biden.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) released a new report last week that shows roughly 1.9 million illegal immigrants who entered the United States throughout the first year of the Biden presidency were apprehended.

According to the report:

"Based on FAIR's most recent comprehensive fiscal cost study, illegal aliens are likely imposing a net fiscal burden of at least $143.1 billion. That's an increase of approximately $9.4 billion over the past year."

The number of illegal immigrants living in the US increased from 14.5 million at the end of 2020 to 15.5 million at the end of 2021.

According to the FAIR report, Biden added an additional nearly $10 billion in taxpayer dollars in 2021, $9.4 billion to be exact, for the cost of absorbing those illegal aliens.
