Just the News reports that shootings across the country over the holiday weekend killed multiple people and sent at least 70 to the hospital.

A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in the Chicago suburb of Willowbrook, Illinois, left one person dead and 20 people injured Sunday morning, officials said. 

A DuPage County Sheriff's Office official said 20 people were shot and one person was fatally shot, per multiple local reports.

Witness Markeshia Avery told ABC 7 Chicago:

“It was supposed to be like a Juneteenth celebration; we just started hearing shooting, so we dropped down until they stopped. They just kept going. After that, we literally scattered away.”

At least two people are in critical condition while others are suffering from graze wounds, fire officials said. 

The shooting broke out around 12:30 a.m. when the Juneteenth celebration in a parking lot turned violent, witnesses and Tri-State Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander said.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear.

• In nearby Chicago, at least 27 people were shot, three fatally, across the city as of Saturday afternoon, police said, ABC 7 Chicago also reported. 
• In St. Louis, police said 10 juveniles were shot and one is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning. Witnesses said the shooting occurred about 1 a.m. inside of one of the buildings downtown, per the local CBS affiliate.
• In Washington state, at least two people are dead and three others were wounded in a shooting near a music festival at a campground on Saturday evening, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said. The gunman randomly fired into the crowd before being taken into custody, officials said, according to Fox News. 
• In California, eight people between the ages of 16 and 24 were wounded by gunfire at a house party early Saturday, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said, according to NBC News. Officials said everyone is expected to recover. 
• Also in California, the San Diego Police said one person died and another was injured when a shooting erupted at a Juneteenth concert in a park Saturday evening, according to the local ABC affiliate. 
• In Georgia, at least five people were injured in a shooting outside of a nightclub in DeKalb County early Sunday morning, police said. It is unclear whether anyone was taken into custody and officials have not said what led to the incident, local outlet WSB-TV reported.

A new poll for DailyMail.com shows nearly half of Democrats believe Joe Biden is too old to be president, and 52 percent of all voters believe they are worse off since Biden became president.

A new DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners poll found that 71 percent of likely general election voters believe he is too old to be president — let alone at the end of a second term, when he would be 86.

The numbers are skewed by political preference, but even 49 percent of Democrats agree. 

Only 28 percent of them believe he is “about the right age.”

Biden has tried to laugh off concerns that he no longer has the energy or sharpness for the job, but those efforts have sometimes backfired.

On Friday he tried it in front of a friendly crowd of gun-control advocates in Connecticut.

“A lot of you are tired. You're tired. No, I get it. Try being 110 and doing it again,” he said to laughs. 

But he left everyone confused at the end of the speech when his final words were: “God save the Queen.”

Here he is the next day, on June 17, trying again to make a joke, which fell flat.

In an unprecedented move, 20 IRS agents armed with AR-15 rifles along with ATF agents carried out a raid on a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, seizing all of the store’s Form 4473s. These are the forms that everyone fills out when purchasing a firearm and they contain personal information about the buyers.

Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, said he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported.

On Wednesday, June 14th, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS agents at his store.

The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

“We have now confirmed that both the IRS and the ATF were at Highwood Creek Outfitters in Great Falls around 7 a.m. this morning. Both the IRS and ATF would not say why they were there,” KMON Radio reported.

According to Hoose, the federal scrutiny began two years ago and has involved various agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and now, the Internal Revenue Service.

“They must think we’re making a fortune in the gun business to investigate us like this, assuming we’re hiding thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of dollars. However, anyone familiar with gun business profit margins would know that’s not the case,” Van Hoose told MTN News.

As reported by the Gateway Pundit, Van Hoose claims that he was simply told his business had been reported, although he remains in the dark about who reported it or why. He believes the whole episode was politically motivated.

“I can only assume that it’s because of the style of weapons that we have and the press that’s so against them,” said Van Hoose. “The current administration seems to be hell bent on getting those guns out of the hands of average Americans.”

Now we know what the 87,000 IRS agents were hired for.

France and President Emmanuel Macron have asked to attend this year’s BRICS summit in South Africa in August, in a move that some are interpreting as a signal that France is looking to break ties with the G7 nations and realign with the BRICS.

It has been reported that Macron reached out to South Africa’s Cyril Ramaphosa, who will host the BRICS summit on August 22nd-24th, though it is still unconfirmed if France will receive a formal invitation, as BRICS delegates are allegedly going to convene to see if they will allow France to sit in on the action.

As one Greek outlet reported, citing a French paper that obtained the information about Macron’s ambitions:

“In essence, France believes that the European market is in crisis due to sanctions against Russia, and the future now belongs to the BRICS, which have taken a large share of the market. France cannot overcome the economic crisis from which the country has been suffering for the past 12 years, and is torn apart by social conflicts. Its access to international markets is not what it used to be. Africa does not want France, consistently expelling French companies from the countries of central Africa. China limited France’s options. Russia is now the enemy. India strengthens and intensifies relations with non- EU countries.”

So, at the very least, France is re-evaluating its options. We’ll keep an eye on this going forward.

The Winepress News reports that coffee-shop giant Starbucks has ordered some locations in the United States to remove their pro-LGTBQIA+ decorations and Pride paraphernalia and rainbow flags, drawing the ire of the staff at these affected locations.

On the morning of June 13th, Starbucks Workers United – an organization looking to help unionize baristas at Starbucks, issued a string of tweets sounding the alarm that corporate Starbucks was dropping the axe on some of these locations.

The group pointed out that Starbucks has traditionally been quite inclusive and progressive throughout the years, and many who work their shops are allied with the LGTBQIA+ community, and such a move is a slap in the face to them especially midway through Pride month.

The Union stated that “Taking a cue from Target, who bowed to anti-LGBTQ+ pressure and removed pride merchandise, corporate and district management are taking down the pride decorations that have become an annual tradition in stores. In union stores, where Starbucks claims they are unable to make ‘unilateral changes’ without bargaining, the company took down Pride decorations and flags anyway – ignoring their own anti-union talking point.”

The union goes on to note that “Starbucks is powered by many queer workers, but management has failed to materially support the LGBTQ+ community. Last October, some workers have reported that their transgender benefit plan changed, causing them to pay out-of-pocket fees and lose access to certain providers. If Starbucks was a true ally, they would stand up for us, especially during a time when LGBTQ+ people are under attack.”

Starbucks spokesperson Andrew Trull denied the allegations in a statement, saying “We unwaveringly support the LGBTQIA2+ community. There has been no change to any policy on this matter and we continue to encourage our store leaders to celebrate with their communities including for U.S. Pride month in June.”

When Layla Jane was 11, she claimed she wanted to be a boy, having been heavily influenced by online propagandists.

Jane’s parents began taking her to doctors after she expressed to them how she was feeling.

According to an article at 100 Percent Fed-Up, Jane was prescribed puberty blockers and hormones after a single session with a psychologist named Susanne Watson.

Even more shockingly, after spending just 30 minutes with plastic surgeon Dr. Winnie Tong, Jane was told she could have her breasts removed.

After only six months of being on puberty blockers, Jane was given a double mastectomy.

Now she is suing the hospital and Kaiser Permanente.

According to the lawsuit, “Defendants did not question, elicit, or attempt to understand the psychological events that led Kayla to the mistaken belief that she was transgender, nor did they evaluate, appreciate, or treat her multi-faceted presentation of co-morbid symptoms.”

The suit reads: “Instead, Defendants assumed that Kayla, a 12-year-old emotionally troubled girl, knew best what she needed to improve her mental health and figuratively handed her the prescription pad. There is no other area of medicine where doctors will surgically remove a perfectly healthy body part and intentionally induce a diseased state of the pituitary gland to misfunction based simply on the young adolescent patient’s wishes.”

Jane, who was born Kayla Lovdahl, has now “detransitioned” and identifies as a female again.

She is undergoing psychotherapy treatment for mental health issues which include a social anxiety disorder – the type of treatment that should have been offered to her in the first place in lieu of an irreversible surgical procedure.

The defendants in the lawsuit are Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and the Permanente Medical groups, both of which are part of the nonprofit Kaiser Permanente.

Just the News reports that Joe Biden has added twice as much debt in his roughly 2.5 years in the White House, compared to former President Trump over the same period.

The national debt surpassed $32 trillion Friday, June 16th, according to Treasury Department data.

The national debt has increased by roughly $4.3 trillion from $27.7 trillion since Biden took office on Jan. 20, 2021.

Biden had a Democratic-led House and Senate to work with until January 2023 when the GOP took the House majority.

The national debt increased $2.1 trillion from the time Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017 to June 17, 2019 – from $19.9 trillion to $22 trillion.

Trump had a Republican-led House and Senate until January 2019 when the Democrats took the House majority. 

When the coronavirus pandemic hit in March 2020, the national debt soared to record highs due to the massive stimulus bills passed by the Democratic-led House and Republican-led Senate and signed into law by Trump. 

Biden and the Democratic-led Congress then passed their own pandemic stimulus bill in 2021.

The national debt jumped from $23.5 trillion in mid-March of 2020, at the onset of the pandemic, to $27.7 trillion when Trump left office.

Congress recently passed legislation to raise the nation's debt ceiling by roughly $4 trillion through next year.

Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said Friday it's past time for Congress to take action to lower the nation's deficit.

“We can’t even get through a single fiscal year anymore without adding a trillion dollars in debt, and $33 trillion is likely just around the corner,” she said, adding: “Our debt addiction saddles the next generation with a debt burden that only grows larger so long as we insist on ducking the hard choices of governing. We need a return to responsible fiscal policy if we’re ever going to get ourselves out of this mess.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Earlier in the program we showcased some of Joe Biden’s recent head-scratching comments which indicate he is not in full control of his faculties.

This is no laughing matter. We are being led by a man well into his senior years who appears to be losing cognitive ability at an alarming rate.

While some prefer to sit back and make jokes about his mental decline, we should be more concerned about how this affects policy in our country. The border, the budget deficits, the insane funding of perpetual wars, and the list goes on.

Not far down the list of issues that affect Americans is Biden’s push for more intrusive gun-control measures. In his comments about the new rule by the ATF banning pistol braces, Biden showed he completely lacks any grasp of the facts surrounding this issue. He was likely told by his aides to sign the new rule and shut up. 

How do we know he lacks any knowledge of the facts?

Joe Biden boasted about his administration’s push for the new ATF ban on pistol stabilizer braces by claiming that the braces make pistols shoot “higher caliber” bullets. He actually said this during the Safer Communities Summit Friday.

Biden talked at length about the gun control bill Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) helped him pass in mid-summer 2022, then talked about his executive action against guns that the Democrats refer to as “ghost guns.”

Breitbart News that executive action on “ghost guns” resulted in an ATF rule that reclassified “partially complete pistol frames” so that they are considered “firearms.”

Biden then talked about the ATF stabilizer brace rule, saying, “We’ve made it harder for people to buy stabilizer braces. Put a pistol on a brace, and it turns it into a gun.”

What?

He then claimed that the brace “makes it where you can have a higher caliber bullet coming out of that gun.”

As Breitbart points out, an AR-pistol or an AK-pistol is a gun in and of itself. A stabilizer brace is simply a piece of plastic that can be attached to the rear of the gun to help stabilize the pistol when target shooting. The braces were first developed to help wounded combat veterans steady a pistol, so they could continue to enjoy shooting sports despite their battlefield injuries.

News flash to Joe Biden: A stabilizer brace does not impact or change the action or caliber of any pistol.
