Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, The Epoch Times reports that Republican senators have sounded the alarm on the Biden administration's border policies after Border Patrol agents caught illegal border crossers who were carrying explosive devices that Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said were “tailor-made for terrorism.”

Barrasso, who is chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, made the startling revelation at a press conference on Oct. 31, alongside fellow Republican Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz of Texas and Pete Ricketts of Nebraska, following their recent visit to the U.S.–Mexico border.

The senators said that more than 8 million illegal border crossings have taken place under Joe Biden's watch, while asserting that explosive devices found on some of them in recent days represent an elevated risk of terror acts against the homeland.

Barrasso said at Tuesday's press conference:

“We have just returned from our southern border, and it is painfully clear that with Joe Biden's open border policy, our country is really at an increased threat for a terrorist attack.”

Several days ago, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents seized illegal aliens carrying with them improvised explosive devices that Barrasso said were the “size of cannonballs.”

A man believed to have been behind social-media posts threatening to stab and slit the throats of Jewish students at Cornell University was arrested Tuesday facing charges that carry a five-year prison term.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York released a statement Tuesday, October 31, stating that 21-year-old engineering student Patrick Dai had been arrested for allegedly posting a series of threatening messages to an online forum. The junior at Cornell was said to have admitted the posts were his, according to the federal complaint obtained by NBC News.

The document stated:

“Dai admitted, after receiving Miranda warnings, that he was the person who used the internet to post the threatening messages described above.”

Facing up to five years in prison, three years supervised release and as much as a $250,000 fine, the Justice Department release explained Dai was arrested “on a federal criminal complaint charging him with posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications.”

As previously reported, members of the school’s Jewish community became aware of messages posted to a forum said to be unaffiliated with the university. The threats targeted students at their homes and at the kosher dining hall and included one that said, “watch out pig jews. jihad is coming. nowhere is safe. your synagogues will become graveyards. your women will be raped and your children will be beheaded. glory to Allah.”

Joe Biden has signed an executive order that provides rules and regulations for the use of artificial intelligence in the U.S., how the government can use it and safeguards that companies must follow.

As is almost always the case, when the government rolls out a new tool designed to curtail freedoms, it says it is doing it for our safety and security.

During the October 30 signing event at the White House, Biden told an audience,

“First, the executive order is about AI safety and security. Today, I am invoking what’s called the Defense Production Act that federal government uses in the most urgent of moments, like mobilizing the nation during — in time of war or developing COVID vaccines during the pandemic.”

What Biden is saying here is that this AI is a very scary emergency. It’s so scary that we need to get the military involved. Dictatorships always use emergencies as an excuse to grab new powers. It never fails. 

The executive order states, “We are more than capable of harnessing AI for justice, security, and opportunity for all.”

We have already seen what Biden’s justice looks like under a politicized FBI and DOJ. It’s a two-tiered justice system that punishes grandmothers who pray outside of abortion clinics and threatens to arrest conservative parents voicing their opinions at school board meetings, while allowing Antifa and BLM to burn and loot with impunity.

Biden continued his speech, stating:

“This executive order will use the same authority to make companies prove that their most powerful systems are safe before allowing them to be used. That means companies must tell the government about the large-scale AI systems they’re developing and share rigorous independent test results to prove they pose no national security or safety risk to the American people.”

Doesn’t that make you feel good? The government is looking out for us and wants to protect us!

The executive order lists a laundry list of directives that the government and companies must begin to follow.

The order also makes reference to critical infrastructure, which the White House notes “has the meaning set forth in section 1016(e) of the USA PATRIOT Act of 2001.”

The Patriot Act was one of the most draconian bills ever, and still ranks as one of the most invasive and oppressive acts ever signed by an American president. So, they are telling us that they are going to leverage the power of AI against us and use it to enforce the Patriot Act.

Jacob Thompson of Winepress News, noted: 

“As you scan through the text of the entire executive order, you realize it’s just another power grab disguised as a means of mitigating AI. They are explicitly referencing the Patriot Act …and we all know what that entails!”

Thompson notes the word “disinformation” appears in the executive order but nowhere defines the term. “So, in other words, this is just a means for the government and Big-Tech to leverage AI against us in a myriad of ways; from speech and thought, to our jobs across all sectors; to inspiration and creation, and so on.”

Politically persecuted journalist Owen Shroyer has spoken out for the first time from federal prison in Washington, D.C.

Shroyer, a reporter for Infowars, said he has thrived on the support of the many patriots who have written letters to him while in prison.

And we do send our prayers up for this young man, whose only crime was to be present on the Capitol steps on January 6. He didn’t even enter the building. He just stood there and warned people not to go in, that it was a set-up, a trap. For this he’s been sentenced to 60 days in the gulag.

Federal Reserve officials voted to leave the central bank’s benchmark interest rate unchanged, saying that it expects tighter financial conditions will weigh on economic activity, hiring, and inflation.

The Fed said on Wednesday it would hold its benchmark rate at a range of 5.25 percent to 5.50 percent, the range it set at its July meeting and the highest since the Fed cut rates in the summer of 2007.

The Fed explained in a statement:

“Recent indicators suggest that economic activity expanded at a strong pace in the third quarter. Job gains have moderated since earlier in the year but remain strong, and the unemployment rate has remained low. Inflation remains elevated. The U.S. banking system is sound and resilient. Tighter financial and credit conditions for households and businesses are likely to weigh on economic activity, hiring, and inflation. The extent of these effects remains uncertain.”

The banking system is sound and resilient, the Fed says. We’ll remind them of that when they announce the next round of bank failures.

Zero Hedge reports that the Biden regime’s so-called wind revolution is blowing up in their faces, as the world's largest offshore wind farm developer abandoned two major U.S. projects due to supply-chain disruptions, high interest rates and recorded impairment charges well above previous forecasts. 

A Danish company called Orsted A/S announced, “U.S. offshore wind projects have experienced further negative developments from adverse impacts relating to supply chains, increased interest rates, and the lack of an OREC (Offshore Renewable Energy Certificate) adjustment on Sunrise Wind.”

These negative developments have forced the company to cease the development of its Ocean Wind 1 and 2 projects off the coast of New Jersey. 

Orsted stated in its press release, “Total impairments recognized in the interim financial report for the first nine months of 2023 amount to $4 billion, and the majority of these relate to Ocean Wind 1.” 

This figure is much larger than previously announced in August. 

The company said, “This is a consequence of additional supplier delays further impacting the project schedule and leading to an additional significant project delay.”

In our previous broadcast we reported that a well-known former member of the Reagan administration, Paul Craig Roberts, had come out publicly and said that freedom is dead in the Western world. He said we are no longer free and should stop pretending that we are.

Tonight, we have a classic example of why Roberts, and others, have put to rest the idea of a so-called free world. It doesn’t exist when you can get arrested for stating an opinion.

British police arrested a man for posting a video on social media complaining about the Palestinian flags that have been going up in his neighborhood in London.

In a minute-long clip posted to X, Metropolitan Police officers are seen handcuffing a man Tuesday and leading him outside to a police van.

His crime? He had made posts to social media criticizing the Palestinian flags flying near his home. The police department has confirmed the authenticity of the video. 

The unnamed man had originally posted a 1-minute video clip of him denouncing a number of Palestinian flags flying along a UK street, according to The Express.  

We’d show you the video but it contains loads of language inappropriate for this audience.

In a post on X, the Metro London Police wrote Wednesday morning, “This video shows the arrest of a man on suspicion of a racially aggravated Section 5 public order offence. The arrested man was taken to an east London police station where he remains at this time. We take all allegations of hate crime incredibly seriously. Where offences have taken place, our officers are attending, supporting victims and making arrests—and we will continue to do so.”

According to the UK's Crown Prosecution Service, under the Crime and Disorder Act of 1998, an offence under section 5 of that Act (harassment, alarm or distress), which is racially aggravated—a constable may arrest without warrant anyone whom he reasonably suspects to be committing an offence. 

The maximum penalty on summary conviction is six months imprisonment or an unlimited fine or both.

In case you think this is just a problem faced by people in Great Britain, the very next day that this video was going viral, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris released a statement saying that the Biden administration planned to launch a federal “Islamophobia Act,” in which it would be made a crime for Americans to say anything that comes across as offensive to those of the Muslim faith. No mention was made of criminalizing speech found offensive to Christians.

A federal judge on Monday issued an order temporarily blocking the Biden administration from using federal agents to cut through razor wire barriers that had been installed on the southern border by the Texas state government.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, the order from U.S. District Judge Alia Moses lasts until November 13th, allowing for both parties to present evidence at a hearing on November 7th.

An exception was made in the ruling that permits federal agents to cut through the razor wire only in the event of a medical emergency.

The decision comes after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had sued the Biden Administration’s Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection last week over the practice. 

Governor Greg Abbott had ordered state authorities to start placing the razor wire along Texas’ southern border with Mexico, in response to the Biden regime’s deliberate refusal to enforce border security or basic immigration laws.

Paxton argued in his lawsuit that Texas has “the sovereign right to construct border barriers to prevent the entry of illegal aliens.”

Federal officials responded by claiming, with no evidence, that they were only cutting the wires due to medical emergencies involving illegals, or to process illegals who had already set foot on American soil, even if it took place on the other side of the razor wire.

Following the judge’s ruling, a DHS spokesman said the department would comply with the order. But the spokesman nevertheless defended the practice, claiming that Border Patrol has “a responsibility under federal law to take those who have crossed onto U.S. soil without authorization into custody for processing, as well as to act when there are conditions that put our workforce or migrants at risk.”

Emmy award-winning television actor Tyler Christopher died suddenly from cardiac arrest, his co-star Maurice Benard confirmed on Instagram Tuesday.

Benard wrote:

“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher. Tyler passed away this morning following a cardiac event in his San Diego apartment.”

Christopher won a daytime Emmy for his role on General Hospital, after which he joined the cast of Days of Our Lives.

A social media post on Tuesday also referred to Friends star Matthew Perry’s sudden death Saturday, remarking “The stars are falling.”

Perry, 54, was found dead in his jacuzzi after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest. There were no signs of drugs or foul play. He had played a two-hour round of pickleball earlier in the day.  

Corporate-media mockingbirds are slamming those who suggest that the Covid vaccine — known for causing sudden cardiac events — may have played a role. 

Perry used his Friends fame to promote the vaccine in 2021, when he offered t-shirts which read, “Could I BE any more vaccinated?” 

Rolling Stone on Saturday claimed in an article that there is no basis for presuming the mRNA vaccine may be a factor in sudden cardiac arrests, adding:

“Twisted anti-vaxxers rush to blame Matthew Perry’s death on Covid vaccine.”

But Rolling Stone excluded a Massachusetts Institute of Technology study last year which found a 25% increase in cardiac events in young men entirely correlated to the Covid shots. 

The State of Florida, in a statement recommending against vaccinating males aged 18–39, cited their own investigation that showed an 84% increase in the incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18–39 years old within 28 days of an mRNA vaccination.

In another study of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s randomized controlled trials, Pfizer vaccine recipients were found to have four times as many cardiac arrests as those in the control group.

Furthermore, a recent report from Good Sciencing has found that there have been 1,884 cardiac arrests among athletes around the world since the introduction of the COVID-19 injections, 70% of whom have died. According to a May analysis of news reports from January 2021 through April 2023, 1,310 out of 1,884 athletes who suffered cardiac arrests died, an average of 561 athletes annually. Over half of these appear to have occurred among football players. These include 38-year-old former NFL star Uche Nwaneri, who called for the unvaccinated to be imprisoned. 

Other recent reports have shown a disturbing increase in cardiac events among athletes. A 2021 analysis from Israeli publication Real-Time News reported a 5-fold increase in sudden cardiac and unexplained deaths among FIFA players that year alone. 

So spare us your snide remarks, Rolling Stone. Just because you reject the truth doesn’t make the truth any less true. But with each new rejection, your credibility wanes. Your audience shrinks.
