More than 1,000 Venezuelans stormed their way into the U.S. illegally at the El Paso, Texas, border area last week, and much of it was caught on video.

Tom Homan discussed it with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News.

When addressing the nation about the bank failures on March 13, Joe Biden left out a very important point about the bailouts he and his administration are taking to rescue the Silicon Valley Bank. 

Biden tried to reassure the nation about the banking segment of the economy as his administration announced over the weekend that it was bailing out two banks – Signature Bank and Silicon Valley Bank.

As noted by the Gateway Pundit, Biden looked dreadfully unpresidential as he slurred his words and mumbled through his brief talk about bailing out these two banks. When finished, he exited the room without answering a single question being shouted at him by reporters.

While he was speaking, Western Alliance Bank dropped in value.

According to CBS:

Mr. Biden reiterated during his remarks that “no losses will be borne by the taxpayers,” and said the money will instead come from fees that banks pay into the Deposit Insurance Fund.

Gateway Pundit reported that, “What Biden did not share, his lie of omission, is that the U.S. government is bailing out Chinese venture capitalists who had a significant amount of deposits in Silicon Valley Bank.

The South China Morning Post noted that the bridge between SVB and China is long and wide.

The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has created a sense of panic within China’s tech start-up and venture capital (VC) sector, as the bank served as a bridge between U.S. capital and Chinese tech entrepreneurs.

As of Sunday afternoon, topics related to the collapse of the bank, including “SVB bankruptcy has spread to multiple countries” and “SVB bankruptcy affects Chinese entrepreneurs,” were trending on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, with posts receiving hundreds of millions of views.

China is the second largest venture capital market and SVB was right in the middle of it according to Tech Crunch.

Financial analyst Charles Payne called it when he said, “This is a financial bailout for the elites.”

Living large on government largesse. That’s the way it works in Silicon Valley. This is not capitalism folks. This is not the way capitalism works. Not in any way, shape or form. Anyone who calls this capitalism is either profiting from it or does not understand what capitalism is.

Silicon Valley Bank on Friday, March 10th, just hours before it was taken over by the feds, paid out millions in annual bonuses to its executives, reports Axios.

During an interview with The View last Friday, 85-year-old actress Jane Fonda made a disturbing recommendation for how to deal with pro-lifers. Murder them.

The remarks came during a conversation about Fonda’s life-long pro-abortion activism. As hosts Sonny Hostin and Joy Behar simpered sweet nothings about Fonda winning a Nobel Prize, the conversation quickly turned awkward when Behar asked Fonda how to extend pro-abortion activism beyond merely marching and protesting.

“Well, I’ve thought of murder,” Fonda asserted, repeating the word “murder” as the two women next to her filled in the silence with an awkward laugh.

Despite the audience’s amusement and assurances from the show’s hosts that the actress was simply joking, viewers were left to wonder — does Fonda really believe that capital punishment is the best way to deal with those advocating for life in the womb? 

In a world where progressives are quick to claim that mere words can be violence, how can Fonda get away with literally suggesting murder?

Joy Stockbauer, a writer for The Washington Stand, surmised the following about Fonda: 

“In light of Fonda’s incurable enthusiasm to do harm to those who advocate for the life of the unborn, it’s important to consider her personal background on the issue. Fonda’s mother, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and eventually died by suicide, aborted nine of Jane’s older siblings before finally giving birth to her. Both Fonda and her mother suffered sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. While there is certainly zero excuse for her abortion advocacy, much less her calls for violence against pro-lifers, understanding Fonda’s background helps paint a fuller picture of why she is so desperate to preserve social acceptance and celebration of abortion as a moral good rather than as the affront to human dignity that it truly is.”

We’ve heard a lot about Smart Cities and 15-minute cities lately, but very few understand the end goal is surveillance of everything we do, everywhere we go, and that the high-tech surveillance grids being embedded in cities today have nothing to do with the environment whatsoever.

Poland has embarked on the largest military rearmament to take place in Europe in 50 years.

Poland, Ukraine’s western neighbor, is preparing, with NATO’s help, to intervene in Ukraine and directly fight Russian forces while shoring up its own borders.

Jacob Thompson at The Winepress News, reports that U.S. allied forces have already been building in Poland and have been on high-alert since Russia launched new operations one year ago. U.S. soldiers have also been deployed to neighboring Romania near the Ukrainian border to perform joint training exercises with NATO forces; and the U.S. has already sent some troops into Ukraine according to the Pentagon, to “oversee” the operations, train the Ukrainians, and indirectly help the Ukrainians launch counterattacks.

Meanwhile, at Ukrainian President Zelensky’s request, fighter jets are being scrambled together and manufactured by the U.S. defense contractors for Ukraine. The WinePress has previously reported that stealth jets have been sent to Poland. Polish President Duda had also promised to send some of their tanks to Ukraine.

At the same time, Poland is facing a massive energy crisis as the people go cold because of skyrocketing energy prices. Poland, like other NATO allies, levied restrictions against Russia, and one of these included embargos on Russian coal which Poland was heavily dependent on. 

Christmas came early for Captain Marek Adamiak and the troops of Poland’s 11th Artillery Regiment. 

Stationed not far from the Russian border, his unit has long grappled with outdated weapons, but not anymore. In mid-December his unit received 24 South Korean-made K9 self-propelled howitzers that can hit targets up to 34 miles away, bringing new and deadly capabilities to the regiment.

Captain Adamiak told The Telegraph:

“As an artillery officer I’m excited by the new equipment. We can maneuver better; we can shoot from anywhere. There is no place we can’t shoot from. We had a lot of old artillery but now we have very new weapons.”

South Dakota Governor Krisi Noem appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show last week to send a warning to fellow governors.  According to the background story, the South Dakota legislature passed a bill that changes the definition of currency and lays the ground rules for a Central Bank Digital Currency, or CBDC, that would block all other digital currencies from being used in the state. Governor Noem vetoed the bill and issued a warning to other governors to do the same.

When asked why her state’s legislature would do this, Noem responded the state politicians likely did not read the bill as it was constructed by lobbyists. Noem is exactly correct, but one of the more alarming aspects to Noem’s discussion of the issue is that around 20 other states are considering similar legislation in efforts that will pave the way for the corrupt Federal Reserve Bank’s CBDC.

There you have it. At least 20 other states will be getting the same legislation proposed, and if passed, it will pave the way for an all-new U.S. digital dollar, which will eventually replace cash in the American economy. Once that happens, the government now has full control over all your transactions.

Former NBA player and University of Louisville star Felton Spencer died suddenly at the age of 55, the Louisville men's basketball team's official Twitter account announced on Sunday, March 12.

“We’re heartbroken by the passing of U of L great Felton Spencer. Spencer was the Cardinals’ all-time leader in career field goal percentage, the 6th overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft, & a beloved member of the Louisville community. Our thoughts & prayers are with his loved ones.”

Louisville head coach Kenny Payne, who was Spencer's Cardinals teammate for two seasons, also shared a statement in response to the former center's death.

“My heart is broken today hearing about my brother Felton. My love and prayers go out to Momma Betty, his sisters and brother Mac. All Cardinals please put his family in our prayers.”

No details were given about his death.

It’s unlikely the FBI or DOJ will do anything about it, but on March 4, another pregnancy center, this one in Minneapolis, was left with broken windows and harsh graffiti threats on its walls. The attack happened shortly after a pro-abort event in the area and was likely done by the group called Jane’s Revenge, The Daily Signal reported.

As reported, seven windows of the First Care Center were broken. Additionally, the words “If abortions aren’t safe neither r u” and “Jane was here” were written on the building walls. 

Tammy Kocher, the group’s executive director, told The Daily Signal that the main group of people who are going to be affected by the violence are the mothers who are looking for support, resources and options. 

“Who they’re really hurting is our clients who are hurting, single moms who are living in poverty and who need support,” Kocher said. “They’re trying to take away practical caring holistic support from families in need.” 

Pregnancy centers are regularly name called as “fake clinics” but realistically, the goal of a pregnancy center is to educate mothers and support them while dealing with their pregnancies. Most pregnancy centers don’t offer abortions and don’t advertise abortions either, nor do they call themselves “clinics.” Regardless, they’re still being attacked and vandalized. 

And the FBI and DOJ couldn’t care less. They didn’t respond to requests for comment from The Daily Signal and it’s unlikely they ever will.

Just a week ago both the FBI director, Chistopher Wray, and Attorney General Merrick Garland defended the administration's extreme bias against pro-life groups. While pro-aborts are allowed to get away with domestic terrorism, pro-lifers are getting arrested for silently praying on streets or defending their children or other supposed “crimes.”

The Biden regime’s $6.9 trillion proposed budget would have the hand of the government rock the cradle by creating a federally regulated, universal pre-K program for children as young as 3 years old.

Biden wants to spend more than half-a-trillion dollars over the next 10 years to allow all American preschoolers to spend their formative years in a taxpayer-funded daycare program. 

Biden’s proposed 2024 budget includes billions of dollars to create “high-quality, universal, free preschool” for “all of the approximately four million 4-year-old children” in the United States. Each of the 50 states may then “expand preschool to 3-year-olds after preschool is available to all 4-year-olds.”

The eventual program, which would see children raised anywhere “from public schools to childcare providers to Head Start,” would be administered by the Department of Education in conjunction with the Department of Health and Human Services.

Parents have already expressed concerns about the curriculum that might be taught in government-administered preschool programs.

What will the government-funded babysitters be teaching their toddlers? Will they open the classrooms up for drag queen story hour? Nothing should surprise us.

Nicki Neily, the president of the education watchdog group Parents Defending Education said:

“While the creation of universal pre-K may seem benevolent, the fact that so many schools now teach age-inappropriate lessons on race and sex raises red flags that such a program would simply allow administrators access to children at even younger and more vulnerable ages.”

Government agencies have quietly begun normalizing the notion of federal bureaucracies overseeing the childrearing of infants by changing the educational nomenclature from “K-12” (kindergarten through high school) to “P-12.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

At a time when the U.S. is at war with Russia through its proxy in Ukraine and China is threatening to invade Taiwan, one would be tempted to believe that the U.S. intelligence agencies would be focusing on finding Russian, Chinese and Iranian sleeper cells and rooting them out.

In the fourth quarter of 2022 we know, according to the government’s own data, that the number of Chinese nationals crossing over the southern border illegally into the U.S. was up more than 750 percent from historic norms.

But if you thought finding these potentially dangerous foreign actors would be the focus of the men and women at the CIA, FBI, NSA and any of the other myriad intel agencies, you would be wrong.

Avril Haines, director of national intelligence for the Biden regime, told the House Intelligence Committee last week what her focus was on.

Haines expressed the need for intel agencies to focus more intensely on “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

The hearing, as reported by the Epoch Times, was called by Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) to discuss global threats.

Haines took the opportunity to make comments about the need for the intelligence community to hire more minorities on the basis of their skin color.

Congressman André Carson, Democrat of Indiana, addressed the issue of “workforce development” in questioning of Haines.

Citing earlier comments from David Petraeus, the former head of the Central Intelligence Agency under Obama, Carson contended that minorities were underrepresented in the intelligence community.

“What are your organizations doing to improve diversity when it comes to recruiting and retaining your workforces?” Carson asked Haines and the other panelists. “Does the IC need to devote more resources to professional development? How do you all plan on tackling those very apparent issues?”

“I think there is no question that we have to do better on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility,” Haines replied promptly.

Haines pointed to recent budget requests in which her organization had requested more funding to carry out “more intense efforts” to increase the presence of minorities in the intelligence community.

She specifically noted the lack of Hispanics and Latinos among the leadership in her office, and added, “We are also working across a range of other issues that we’ve seen to promote recruiting across the country in a variety of different communities to ensure that we’re reaching folks that don’t normally come to the intelligence community or know about the intelligence community.”

A variety of different communities? You know what that means. No job at her agencies unless you are of a certain race or you espouse a certain sexual identity. 

This is no way to run an intelligence unit and she knows it. This explains why U.S. intelligence is so often wrong. Not a little wrong but disastrously wrong. They are not hiring the most qualified people; they are hiring to fill quotas and check off boxes.

God help us if it does come down to war with another super power.
