Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

The United Nations’ document known as the Pact for the Future was adopted to applause Sunday morning in New York City by all U.N. member states despite a draft amendment from the Russian delegation and a point of order to decide not to submit this draft to a vote. The point of order, presented by the Congo, was adopted by 143 votes in favor to 7 against (Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Nicaragua, Russia, Sudan and Syria), with 15 abstentions, which included China and Saudi Arabia.

According to the U.N. website, “the Pact is a commitment to a new beginning for multilateralism. It has two annexes: the Global Digital Pact and the Declaration on Future Generations. However, for the Russian delegation, which denounced a text dictated by Western countries, ‘intergovernmental talks on the text of the Pact have not taken place’” and therefore the document itself is seen by the Russians as being illegitimate. 

The Biden-Harris regime was one of the ringleaders in getting this one-world government pact on the table and adopted by the U.N.

They say it is non-binding. But that means nothing when the U.S. government is 100% on board with the U.N. principles and goals laid out in the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. 

Making something non-binding is simply their way of bypassing Senate approval for a binding treaty.

Al.com reports that a massive manhunt was underway Sunday after a mass shooting late Saturday night in Birmingham’s Five Points entertainment area left four dead and at least 18 others injured.

Investigators believe multiple shooters fired numerous shots into a group of people outside of a bar.

Police said they don’t believe the shooting was random. They believe it likely stemmed from some type of dispute between two warring parties in which multiple innocent bystanders were caught in the crossfire.

Officer Truman Fitzgerald said:

“We have reached out to our partners with ATF, the FBI, you’ll have a plethora of law enforcement agencies assisting the Birmingham Police Department. Rest assured, we are going to do everything we possibly can to uncover, identify and hunt down whoever was responsible for preying on our people.”

Fitzgerald said the shooting broke out just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Initial reports indicate club patrons were waiting in line outside Hush, a hookah and cigar lounge on Magnolia Avenue, when the shooting started. Witnesses said at least some of the gunfire sounded like it came from a weapon outfitted with a “switch” that converts a gun to full automatic.

Mayor Randall Woodfin said on social media Sunday:

“Glock switches are the number one public safety issue in our city and state. Converting a semi-automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon that discharges all bullets within seconds doesn’t belong on our domestic streets.”

Detectives are working to confirm if it was a drive-by or if the shooters were on foot, police said.

Once on the scene, police found two men and a woman unresponsive on the sidewalk.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service pronounced all three dead on the scene. A fourth man was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital.

No arrests have been made.

The Post Millennial reports that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Haitian national who was charged with sexually assaulting a Massachusetts resident after he was arrested and released at the border in 2022 by Joe Biden’s Homeland Security Department. 

30-year-old Haitian Jefferson Jerome was arrested on September 11 after being charged with indecent assault and battery. Jerome was first arrested by U.S. Border Patrol in 2021 after unlawfully crossing the border near Del Rio, Texas, and was returned to Mexico. 

In 2022, he attempted to enter the U.S. again at a port of entry in Brownsville, Texas, where U.S. Customs and Border Protection apprehended him and issued a notice to appear before an immigration judge.

Earlier this month, Jerome was arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years old. He was released under pretrial conditions, including wearing a GPS monitoring device. ICE officers arrested him immediately after his release from state custody, and he is now in federal custody.

Jerome's arrest is part of a broader issue involving illegal immigrants committing sex crimes in the U.S. Recently, ICE reported a record number of noncitizen sex offender arrests in Maryland, announcing that 153 individuals were apprehended in Baltimore alone during the 2024 fiscal year.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, warned on Friday that Moscow's nuclear weapons are in “full combat readiness.”

Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, tensions between U.S.-led NATO countries and the Kremlin have escalated as NATO leaders have increasingly warned that direct conflict with Moscow is a realistic danger as it has more nuclear warheads than any other country, according to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICANW). 

This comes after Putin and senior Russian officials have repeatedly threatened nuclear retaliation against the Western backers of Ukraine’s military effort against Russian-speaking Ukrainians dating back to 2014.

According to TASS, the Russian state news agency, Lavrov said in an interview with Sky News Arabia that while “nobody wants a nuclear war,” he warned the country's nuclear weapons are in “full combat readiness.”

He added:

“We talk about red lines, expecting that our assessments, statements will be heard by intelligent, decision-making people. It is not serious to say that if tomorrow you do not do what I demand of you, we will press the ‘red button.’ I am convinced that in such situations, decision-makers have an idea of what we are talking about. Nobody wants a nuclear war.”

He added that Russia possesses weapons “that will have serious implications for the handlers of the Ukrainian regime.”

RVM News reports that Marcee Gray, the mother of 14-year-old Colt Gray, who allegedly carried out a deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia, was indicted last week on charges of elder abuse.

Gray faces several charges, including exploitation and intimidation of an elderly person, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property, and theft.

These charges stem from a November 2022 incident in which Gray is accused of abusing her then 73-year-old mother, Deborah Polhamus.

According to an incident report cited by The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Marcee Gray allegedly bound her mother to a chair and left her there for nearly 24 hours after her mother refused to accompany her daughter to confront her ex-husband, Colin Gray.

Marcee reportedly became upset with her mother, leading to physical violence, and then tied her to a chair, took her iPhone, and damaged parts of the home, including a bathroom mirror and the back door.

The 73-year-old mother was eventually found by a friend.

The indictment adds to an already complex and tragic situation involving the Gray family.

Modernity News reports that during a cringe fake Hollywood townhall meeting earlier this week, Kamala Harris suggested that everyday Americans should get in the faces of their friends and neighbors and challenge them on so-called misinformation.

At one point Harris was asked a hard-hitting question by Meryl Streep, and responded, “It’s very important that we all speak to our friends and our neighbors about misinformation and help them now see how it occurs, where it is occurring.”

Even liberal CNN has pointed out that the Harris-Walz campaign has repeatedly deceived Americans with misleading edits and captions on its X account.

The sudden obsession with misinformation and disinformation is all part of a highly orchestrated global information war against the truth and the growing support for populist candidates worldwide.

And we have a new survey of the misinformation landscape that bears out this point. There are no conservatives of any repute who count themselves among the growing army of disinformation enforcers.

Those who make a living pointing out the alleged errors of others are almost universally leftists.

Published by Harvard’s Misinformation Review, the report highlights how political affiliation impacts the analysis of information in America. No less than 83% of the 150 experts polled lean left-of-center, while only 15 identified as centrist. Not a single participant in the survey self-identified as “fairly or very right.”

RVM News noted that:

“It does raise questions as to whether a correlation between the political leanings of the federal government and fact-checkers is somewhat Orwellian.”

Slay News reports that a major international bank has launched a new payment monitoring system to track customers’ purchases as part of a crackdown on the purchase of meat and dairy products by consumers.

London-based NatWest Bank launched what it calls the “carbon footprint tracker.” It’s an app that tracks and enforces the rules associated with the globalist war on carbon, which is slowly throwing the world into famine because it’s ultimately a war on food and food producers.

The British multinational bank’s system monitors customers’ spending habits and scolds them when they buy meat and dairy products.

The tracker issues cellphone alerts that warn customers that their food purchases are causing “climate change.”

As part of NatWest’s smartphone banking app, users receive messages when they are caught buying traditionally farmed produce. They are coached to buy unhealthy alternatives made of soy, plant-based products and other fillers. No doubt grasshoppers and meal worms are on the list of approved menu items.

The app pressures customers to take part in “veggie Mondays” and warns they should be “choosing (mostly) plant-based” diets to fight “global warming” by reducing their so-called greenhouse gas emissions.

By swapping out beef, the app alleges an individual could reduce their carbon footprint by 12 kilograms.

In addition, users are urged to try adding tofu, lentils, and other alternatives to their diets as substitutes for meat.

The bank doesn’t draw the line at food, however, and seeks to push the green agenda into all aspects of its customers’ spending.

The app also suggests buying more second-hand clothes and taking fewer flights in order to comply with the Net Zero targets of the World Economic Forum.

Additional warning messages from the bank tell customers to switch off tumble dryers, share car journeys, and wash their clothes in cold water.

Donald J. Trump has reportedly lobbied for and won the endorsement of the Muslim mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan.

Mayor Amer Ghalib told the Detroit News that he met with the former president in Flint last Tuesday in a private 20-minute meeting and Trump asked for the Muslim politician's endorsement.

The Republican presidential candidate campaigned Tuesday night at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, and Ghalib said he and Trump met at the events center before Trump addressed the crowd.

Ghalib said Wednesday in a text message to The Detroit News:

“He knew a lot about me before the meeting. We talked about various topics including the debates, the polls updates, the statistics of votes in Michigan and Wayne County, the Arab American concerns and the Yemeni Americans in particular. We also talked about the situation in Yemen.”

Ghalib is an immigrant from Yemen. In 2021, he ousted incumbent mayor Karen Majewski. He and other Muslim candidates for city council won in that election in Hamtramck, a roughly two-square mile city of 28,000 residents that surrounded by Detroit. U.S. Census data shows more than 40% of Hamtramck's population now is foreign-born, including natives of Yemen.

The mayor’s office and the city council are completely under the control of Muslims, the first U.S. city to have that happen.

Reuters reports that just as imports of U.S. container cargo are surging, up nearly 13% in August from the same month a year ago, delaying cargo at major ports, concerns are growing over a threatened longshore worker strike on the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico.

A deadline has been set of October 1 for workers’ demands to be met or they will go on strike. More than 45,000 dock workers are concerned first and foremost about the pending automation of their jobs.

The International Longshoremen's Association represents 45,000 dock workers at three dozen U.S. ports from Maine to Texas and handles almost half of the nation's ocean trade.

The union said last week its members are prepared to hit the streets if they do not have a new contract in place when the current 6-year agreement expires on September 30.

The two sides are reportedly still far apart on issues ranging from wages and benefits to automation.

According to the AP: “A prolonged strike (of one month or more) would almost certainly hurt the U.S. economy. Even a brief strike would cause disruptions.”

The last time there was a strike of this size among port workers was 1977, when America still produced a lot of products and didn’t depend on foreign imports nearly to the extent that we do today.

A port workers strike of this magnitude would create shortages of all kinds of goods that Americans take for granted, and potentially at the worst possible time, heading into a bitterly divisive election.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

The Winepress reports that the European Union Parliament voted Friday in favor of allowing Ukraine to launch missile strikes deep within Russia, something that Russian officials have warned could bring the destruction of Kiev and the use of nuclear weaponry in retaliation.

MEPs voted 425 in favor, 131 against and 63 abstentions on a resolution for EU member states to remove restrictions on Ukraine’s use of Western-supplied weapons within Russian territory. The measure also calls for accelerated weapons deliveries to Ukraine, including long-range missiles.

The EU explained what the MEPs voted for in a press release:

“MEPs reiterate their call for member states to fulfill their March 2023 commitment to deliver one million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine, and to accelerate the delivery of weapons, air-defense systems and ammunition, including TAURUS missiles.”

The resolution calls for EU member states to maintain and extend the sanctions against Russia, Belarus, and non-EU countries and entities providing Russia with military and dual-use technologies.

MEPs condemned the recent transfer of ballistic missiles by Iran to Russia and call for strengthened sanctions against both Tehran and North Korea for their involvement in supporting Russia’s war with Ukraine. They also want to see more Chinese individuals and entities added to the EU sanctions list.

MEPs want the EU and like-minded partners to establish a legal regime for the confiscation of Russian state-owned assets frozen by the EU as part of efforts to compensate Ukraine for the damage it has suffered.

Of course, all of that damage could have been averted by meeting a simple and very reasonable demand by the Russians: Guarantee that Ukraine would not join NATO and guarantee the security of four Russian-speaking areas of eastern Ukraine. That’s all it would have taken to get a deal signed and end this war practically right after it started. But the U.S., U.K., and their NATO partners refused to even discuss that deal with Putin.

So, now, we have over 500,000 dead Ukrainians, a flood of refugees, and the impending expansion of the war into other countries.

Friday’s vote is the first real official stance this newly elected EU council has made regarding the war in Ukraine.

There’s a lot of blood on the hands of these globalist puppet leaders.

The MEPs also condemned and essentially blacklisted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Why? Because he’s tried to conduct peace negotiations with Russia, something the majority of the EU members find intolerable.

It appears the bloodthirsty warmongers in the EU are doing everything in their power to trigger a much larger war with Russia. At some point, they will get their wish.
