THE POWER ELITE'S HISTORICAL OUTLINEPART 3

In the first 2 parts of this series, I outlined the political and economic aspects of the Power Elite's (PE's) activities over hundreds of years using the dialectical process. The PE could not achieve ultimate success, however, unless they could shift the values of the people away from those of THE HOLY BIBLE toward those of the secular humanists today.
On May 1, 1776, Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati not only to overthrow monarchical authority, but also religious authority, promoting the concept of "Do what thou wilt." Dispersing in the 1780s, the Illuminati in France infiltrated Masonic lodges and helped to foment the French Revolution which began in 1789. The revolutionists not only overthrew the Bourbons (ruling family of France from 1589 to 1793), but also sought to destroy the religious authority of the Catholic Church, symbolically placing a prostitute on the altar at Notre Dame Cathedral. During this period of revolution against religious values, the Marquis de Sade (from whom comes the word, sadist) advocated abortion as a necessary means of population control in his PHILOSOPHIE DANS LE BOUDOIR in 1795.
In the early 1800s, the Marquis de Lafayette brought Madame Francoise d'Arusmont to the United States. Going by the name Fanny Wright, in 1828 she joined Robert Owen at his first commune in America, established in New Harmony, Indiana in 1825. Owen said, "I am come to this country (USA) to introduce an entire new order of society." And Wright was an apostle of free marital union, birth control, etc.
In 1829, Wright and Owen's son, Robert Dale Owen, joined with Orestes Brownson to form the Working-Men's Party, with Brownson later revealing: "The great object was to get rid of Christianity, and to convert our churches into halls of science. The plan was to establish a system of state-we said NATIONAL-schools, from which all religion was to be excluded.... We were to have godless schools for all the children of the country.... The plan has been successfully pursued...."
Apparently sensing what was occurring, Alexis de Tocqueville in 1840 in DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA described a potential despotism here by saying: "I do not expect their (democracies') leaders to be tyrants, but rather schoolmasters." And under such despotism, he indicated that "the will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided. It does not tyrannize, but it compresses enervates, extinguished, and stupefies a people...."
After de Tocqueville's warning appeared, Karl Marx in his ECONOMIC AND PHILOSOPHIC MANUSCRIPTS OF 1844 professed that "Communism begins from the outset with atheism.... Communism, as fully developed naturalism, equals humanism." Four years later, his COMMUNIST MANIFESTO was published in 1848. During this same period, French revolutionist the Comte de Saint-Simon's secretary, Auguste Comte, was developing his morally relativistic "Religion of Humanity," and in the 1850s published 4 volumes describing this "System of Positive Polity." From this system would come the morally relativistic Positivist philosophy, which was adopted by many in the legal profession, ultimately resulting in some federal judges saying the Constitution means whatever they say it means regardless of the founders' original intent.
Then in 1859 and 1871, Charles Darwin wrote his works on evolution, which gave rise to Social Darwinism and the alteration of values that went with it. After all, if man were simply an evolved animal with some superior to others, then eugenics would be justified. Picking up on this concept, Prof. John Ruskin at Oxford University believed he and the rest of the Anglo-Saxon elite represented "the best northern blood." This attitude was acted upon by Ruskin disciple Cecil Rhodes, who in 1891 formed the secret Society of the Elect "to take the government of the whole world," in Rhodes' own words.
Those with "the best northern blood" would be like the "philosopher kings" of Plato's REPUBLIC and the French Revolution, and considered themselves born to rule the masses. Among the elite were the Rockefellers, who in the early 1900s introduced Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) to those who would support her eugenic causes (e.g., Sanger's BIRTH CONTROL REVIEW for November 1921 said "Birth Control: to create a race of thoroughbreds"), such as reducing the numbers of "dysgenic stock" (inferior humans) among the population.
Material in Sanger's PIVOT OF CIVILIZATION (1922) sounds very much like the Nazis' Joseph Goebbels' eugenic declaration about National Socialists (Nazis) in 1938. In PIVOT OF CIVILIZATION, Sanger proclaimed that "the most urgent problem today is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective. Possibly drastic and Spartan methods may be forced upon American society if it continues complacently to encourage the chance and chaotic breeding that has resulted from our stupid, cruel sentimentalism." And Goebbels declared: "Our starting point is not the individual, and we do not subscribe to the view that one should feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, or cloth the naked…. Our objectives are entirely different: We must have a healthy people in order to prevail in the world."
Combining the model of Owen, Wright and Brownson (using education to change the values of a people) with Marx's humanism, in 1930 Charles Francis Potter wrote HUMANISM: A NEW RELIGION, in which he stated: "Education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism. What can the theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week, and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?" Three years later, the "Father of Progressive Education," John Dewey, along with Potter and others, co-authored the atheistic HUMANIST MANIFESTO in 1933.
