Leading off tonight: Your DNA may soon be going up for sale.

Zero Hedge reports that, several years ago, DNA-testing company 23andMe began publicly trading on Nasdaq following a deal to merge with VG Acquisition Corp., a special-purpose acquisition company founded by billionaire Richard Branson. The company was pimped by Hollywood elites, such as Oprah and Lizzo, as market capitalization topped $6 billion in late 2021. 

Fast forward to this past week: 23andMe has lost 94% of its market cap following the November 2021 peak, and Nasdaq threatened to delist the penny stock as it closed around 69 cents per share last Friday. 

Anne Wojcicki, 23andMe's chief executive, has led the cash-burning startup that has never turned a profit. After three rounds of layoffs and a subsidiary sale, a Wall Street Journal report said the company “could run out of cash by 2025.” 

The inevitable fire sale of 23andMe has raised eyebrows among social media platform X users.

A healthcare investor named Will Manidis asked this question on X: “Within months you will be able to buy genomics data from 14 million Americans for +/- $200m?” 

Manidis warned in the viral post: “The inevitable fire sale of this mess to an overseas PE firm is going to be a national security matter on the scale of which we haven't seen in healthcare in years.”

The U.S. Senate has struck a $118 billion bipartisan agreement on border security that’s being lambasted by Republicans in the House as a total sellout to Joe Biden and the Democrats.

The bill would allow 1.5 million illegals to enter the U.S. every year, allocates $2.3 billion towards NGOs and other organizations which traffic them, gives $14.1 billion in security assistance to Israel, and a whopping $60 billion in support to Ukraine.

That’s 75 times more money the U.S. Senators want to give to Ukraine to secure its border than has been appropriated for securing the U.S. border.

The bill also locks in green-card giveaways until 2030.

The agreement was reached by Senators James Lankford (R-OK), whose own state legislature censured him last week for striking such a horrendous border deal, along with Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ).

Let's pause to revisit the fact that Joe Biden could close the border with the stroke of a pen, right now, but refuses to do so until money for Ukraine and Israel materializes.

The bill also carves out $2.33 billion for “Refugee and Entrant Assistance,” which provides that “Amounts made available under this heading in this Act may be used for grants or contracts with qualified organizations, including nonprofit entities, to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services.”

Republicans in the House called this deal “dead on arrival” and President Trump called it “a GOP death wish.” The House version funds Israel’s war with Hamas but gives nothing to Ukraine.

Breaking it down further, the Senate’s $118 billion national security package includes:

• $60 billion to support Ukraine as it fights back against Russia and protects its people and sovereignty.
• $14.1 billion in security assistance for Israel.
• $2.4 billion to support operations in the U.S. Central Command and address combat expenditures related to conflict in the Red Sea.
• $10 billion in humanitarian assistance to provide food, water, shelter, medical care, and other essential services to civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, Ukraine, and other populations caught in war zones worldwide.
• $4.8 billion to support key regional partners in the Indo-Pacific and deter aggression by the Chinese government.
• $2.3 billion to continue support for Ukrainians fleeing war.
• $20.2 billion to address existing operational needs and expand capabilities at our nation's borders, resource the new border policies included in the package, and help stop the flow of fentanyl and other narcotics.
• $400 million for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program to help nonprofits and places of worship make security enhancements.

Reuters reports that El Salvadore’s President Nayib Bukele on Sunday secured an overwhelming electoral victory after voters rewarded him for a fierce gang crackdown that transformed security in the Central American country.

Provisional results on Monday morning show Bukele winning 83% support with just over 70% of the ballots counted. Bukele declared himself the winner before official results were announced, claiming to have attained more than 85% of the vote.

Thousands of Bukele's supporters clad in cyan blue and waving flags thronged San Salvador's central square to celebrate his re-election, which the 42-year-old leader termed a “referendum” on his government.

His New Ideas party is expected to win almost all of the 60 seats in the legislative body, tightening its grip on the country and bestowing even more sway on Bukele, the most powerful leader in El Salvador's modern history.

“All together the opposition was pulverized,” Bukele, standing with his wife on the balcony of the National Palace, told his supporters, adding, “El Salvador went from being the most unsafe country to the safest. Now in these next five years, wait to see what we are going to do.”

Wildly popular, Bukele has campaigned on the success of his security strategy under which authorities suspended civil liberties to arrest more than 75,000 Salvadoran gang and cartel members. The detentions led to a sharp decline in nationwide murder rates and fundamentally altered a country of 6.3 million people that was once among the world's most dangerous.

Few doubted the outcome of the elections. Polls showed most voters wanted to reward Bukele for destroying the crime syndicates that made life intolerable in El Salvador and fueled waves of migration to the United States.

The Food and Drug Administration says 561 deaths have been reported in connection to recalled Philips devices to treat obstructive sleep apnea and other breathing disorders, CBS reports.

The FDA said that since April 2021 it has received more than 116,000 medical device reports of foam breaking down in Philips CPAP machines and BiPAP sleep therapy devices. That includes 561 reports of death, the agency said last Wednesday.

The Dutch company recalled millions of the breathing machines amid reports they were blowing gas and pieces of foam into the airways of those using the devices. 

Polyester-based polyurethane foam used in the devices to reduce sound and vibration can break down, with black pieces of foam or invisible chemicals that can be breathed in or swallowed by the person using the device. “These issues could potentially result in serious injury and require medical intervention to prevent permanent injury,” the FDA stated.

The grim tally comes days after Philips said it would stop selling the machines in the U.S. in a settlement with the FDA and the Justice Department expected to cost roughly $400 million, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing.

Just the News reports that Democrats, including Joe Biden, are defending Dearborn, Michigan, and criticizing The Wall Street Journal after the paper published an opinion piece criticizing the town for hosting anti-Israel and anti-American protests and having prominent citizens who have vocally supported terrorism. 

The Journal published the column Friday titled, “Welcome to Dearborn, America’s Jihad Capital,” which details how almost immediately after the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel, which resulted in the deaths of about 1,200 people and the kidnappings of 250 others, Dearborn residents began marching in protest against Israel. 

The column, written by Middle East Media Research Institute Executive Director Steven Stalinsky, also points out how after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Michigan State Police cited how the city was a “major financial support center” for terrorism, and how after the October 7 attack, multiple Dearborn imams celebrated. 

Stalinsky also said that more recently, the town hosted an event in memory of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, the leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps terrorist group who was assassinated by the U.S. under President Trump.

Additionally, the opinion piece points out how Democrats are facing a problem in Michigan, a major swing state, after Muslim voters pledged to mobilize against Biden in 2024 over his support for Israel. 

Stalinsky concluded:

“What’s happening in Dearborn isn’t simply a political problem for Democrats. It’s potentially a national-security issue affecting all Americans. Counterterrorism agencies at all levels should pay close attention.” 

Numerous Democrats have criticized the piece as being hateful and for cherry-picking a few extreme examples from Dearborn, where more than half of the city's residents are Shia Muslim from Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and Bangladesh. The first Muslims were brought to Dearborn in the 1920s and 30s to work as cheap labor in the auto plants built by Henry Ford.

Biden wrote Sunday on X:

“Americans know that blaming a group of people based on the words of a small few is wrong. That’s exactly what can lead to Islamophobia and anti-Arab hate, and it shouldn’t happen to the residents of Dearborn – or any American town. We must continue to condemn hate in all forms.”

Thirteen Republican governors joined Texas Governor Greg Abbott in Eagle Pass, Texas, Sunday to pledge their commitment to border security and states’ constitutional rights to self-defense.

Abbott said half of the governors of the United States have joined with Texas “in our cause to make sure states should do everything possible to secure our border,” adding that, “We are here to send a loud and clear message that we are banding together to fight to ensure that we will be able to maintain our constitutional guarantee that states will be able to defend against any type of imminent danger or an invasion that has been threatened by Joe Biden and his abject refusal to enforce the immigration laws of the United States of America.”

Abbott cited the self-defense clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3, which more than 50 Texas counties have cited in their invasion declarations, saying, “We're all fighting for a safer, more secure border and country.”

The Texas governor was joined by governors of Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Tennessee, and Utah.

They appeared in Shelby Park, where razor-wire barriers are the focus of one of three lawsuits filed over border barriers in the Eagle Pass area between Texas and the federal government.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said there are hundreds of Tennessee troops now serving along the Texas-Mexico border.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp cited the record number of people being apprehended on the terrorist watch list, asking how many of them “are in our country that we didn't apprehend?” He cited the record 458 million lethal doses of illicit fentanyl and 56,000 pounds of methamphetamine that OLS officers have seized, adding, “think about the doses that were not.”

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Biden has not only “failed to protect our border, to protect our people … but he's been dishonest about it. He's trying to pass off the idea that somehow, he has no ability to do anything to fix it, and Congress has to step up when every single person knows he can make changes and steps right now today to help secure our border and protect our country. Yet he simply refuses to do so.”

In his absence, she said, “there is no fight right now that is more important for us to engage in” as governors “because we have to, because it's absolutely vital for the long-term safety and security of our country.”

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte said, “Our Constitution gives the states the right to self-defense. That's what Governor Abbott's doing and that's why we're here standing with him today. Biden is doing the exact opposite.”

King Charles III, 75, has been diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement Monday.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” according to the emailed statement. “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

Buckingham Palace did not specify what form of cancer was diagnosed or at what stage it was found.

The news comes a week after both Kate and King Charles were discharged from a private London clinic after individual procedures. The king underwent a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate, while Kate, 42, had an unspecified abdominal surgery on January 17.

The statement added:

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Well, it appears even the corporate mainstream media is now starting to report on the high numbers of Chinese nationals coming across the U.S. southern border.

60 Minutes reports that the Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok is being used to aid and abet the Chinese invasion of America.

Notice how almost all the Chinese illegals in that video were men, most of them of military age. The folks at 60 Minutes failed to report that part. It’s the errors of omission that more often than not reveal the bias of these so-called news programs. We’ve been reporting on this story about the Chinese communists exploiting Joe Biden’s open borders since right after Biden was installed in the White House. It’s always interesting to see our stories picked up years later by the mainstream, and then they only report part of the story, not the ugly details in full context.

You will not hear the words “border invasion” in that report by CBS 60 Minutes. But that’s exactly what it is. And it’s not just Chinese, either. These men are coming from the Middle East, Africa, and many other regions not known to love or sympathize with America or its people. 

Prepare now for war. The army has been assembled. The barbarians are inside the gates. All that we are waiting on is for them to be given orders to start attacking and the final plan to take down America will have been triggered. Then you will see stories about a rash of surprise attacks. They will be mostly peaceful attacks, I’m sure.

This should not surprise us in the least. America’s enemies have been busy building up a stealth army for three years running and even before that thousands of bad actors were allowed into the country under Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Nothing is as it appears in the so-called news that you get from the mainstream media. It’s all carefully crafted theater meant to deceive.

The truth is, even if we built a border wall tomorrow the immigration problem remains existential. The army has already been assembled. The only answer that problem, at this critical stage, would be to start mass deportations. That’s a policy few politicians wish to even talk about, let alone engage in.

Until you hear that issue at least being put up for debate, whether to deport or not to deport, don’t be deceived. All other issues amount to political fools’ gold.
