Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Several lawmakers are upping their war rhetoric tonight, demanding that Joe Biden launch a retaliatory strike directly on Iran.

The war rhetoric comes amid heightening fears of a widening conflict in the already tense Middle East after one of Tehran's proxies launched a drone attack that killed three U.S. Army troops and injured dozens of other service members. 

According to Just the News, the Iran-backed Islamic Resistance of Iraq claimed responsibility for the drone attack Sunday, according to Iran-run outlet IRNA, and both President Joe Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the U.S. will hold those accountable at a time, place and in a manner of their choice.

But some members of Congress are demanding a big response that goes straight to cut off the head of the snake following the latest attack, which comes following more than 150 attacks on U.S. service members in Syria and Iraq by Iranian-backed proxies since Hamas' October 7, 2023, attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people, according to The Associated Press. 

In a surprise to absolutely no one, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was first to pounce on the Biden regime, calling on it to launch a wider war beyond just the Houthis.

Graham said on Sunday:

“The only thing the Iranian regime understands is force. Until they pay a price with their infrastructure and their personnel, the attacks on U.S. troops will continue. Hit Iran now. Hit them hard.”

Another Republican with impeccable neocon credentials, John Cornyn of Texas, echoed Graham’s demands.

“Target Tehran,” Cornyn wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

When a user asked whether the Texas senator was issuing a call to bomb Iran, he responded, “No. IRGC and Quds Force terrorist facilitators,” referring to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, and its special operations unit known as the Quds Force. 

Similarly, Senate Armed Forces Committee Ranking Member Roger Wicker, R-Mississippi, said on X that the U.S. “must respond to these repeated attacks by Iran & its proxies by striking directly against Iranian targets & its leadership.”

Senator Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said: “The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran's terrorist forces, both in Iran and across the Middle East. Anything less will confirm Joe Biden as a coward unworthy of being commander-in-chief.”

In a since-deleted post, Rep. Mike Collins, R-Ga., wrote on X, “Time to find the next few Soleimanis and vaporize them,” in reference to former IRGC leader Qasem Soleimani, who was assassinated by the U.S. under the administration of President Donald Trump.

“Time to kill some terrorists and protect American soldiers! Hey @POTUS, retaliate now!! Let’s teach the Ayatollah a lesson he won’t forget!” Texas Republican Rep. Brian Babin said on X.

Other Republicans have been less enthusiastic about the idea of a head-to-head conflict with Iran. 

“Joe Biden and his cronies are pushing for hot war,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, said.

The Daily Mail reports that the U.S. is planning to station nuclear weapons in Britain for the first time in 15 years to counter threats from Russia.

Pentagon documents reveal the U.S. is intending to place warheads three times the strength of the Hiroshima bomb on UK soil. Moscow said it would view the move as an escalation that would be met with counter-measures.

Procurement contracts for a new facility at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk show the U.S. plans to house B61-12 gravity bombs “imminently” at the site. 

U.S. warheads were last stationed in Britain in 2008, when it was judged that the Cold War threat from Russia had decreased.

The plans come as part of a NATO-wide program aimed at developing and upgrading nuclear sites in response to rising tensions with the Kremlin. 

The unredacted documents from the U.S. Department of Defense's procurement database show the Pentagon has ordered equipment, including ballistic shields, for Lakenheath, and state that construction of a housing facility for U.S. soldiers at the base will start in June.

The Pentagon insisted the documents “are not predictive of, nor are they intended to disclose any specific posture or basing details.”

Fox News reports that five Ukrainian officials were arrested this past weekend on accusations of stealing nearly $40 million in funds meant to purchase military equipment for the war against Russia.

Ukraine’s security service said members of the defense ministry conspired with members of a Ukrainian arms firm to embezzle the funds, which were meant to purchase 100,000 mortar shells. The allegations come amid division in the U.S. over whether to send more aid to Ukraine, with some critics pointing to Ukraine’s longtime struggles with corruption.

The five individuals arrested face up to 12 years in prison if found guilty. Ukraine’s prosecutor general says the $39.6 million has since been seized and returned to the defense budget.

Accusations from Ukraine say defense officials organized the payment to Lviv Arsenal, a defense contract firm, to secure the delivery of artillery shells. The ordnance never arrived, however, and the funds were instead transferred to accounts belonging to the defense officials and members of the firm.

Corruption has been a longstanding issue in Ukraine, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy winning election on an anti-graft campaign even before Russia’s invasion in 2022.

An advisor to Zelensky said this past fall that the government had suffered “reputational damage” on the world stage for its sluggish efforts to battle corruption.

One aide to Zelensky told Time Magazine in October that “People are stealing like there’s no tomorrow.”

The National Security Agency has been accused of buying Americans’ internet browsing information from commercial data brokers without warrants, according to documents released by Senator Ron Wyden, D-Oregon.

In a letter to Wyden, NSA director Paul Nakasone provided newly unclassified documents revealing that the agency buys Americans’ data, including information about the websites they visit and the apps they use. The letter, dated December 11, was made public on Thursday.

Wyden, a privacy and internet freedom advocate who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, called on U.S. intelligence officials to end unlawful use of Americans’ personal data without their knowledge and consent.

Wyden wrote to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on Thursday:

“The U.S. government should not be funding and legitimizing a shady industry whose flagrant violations of Americans’ privacy are not just unethical, but illegal.”

The senator had blocked the appointment of incoming NSA Director Timothy Haugh until the agency responded to his questions about collecting Americans’ internet and location data. Wyden said in a news release that he pushed for nearly three years to publicly release information showing the NSA is purchasing Americans’ internet records.

He wrote in his letter to Haines:

“Such records can identify Americans who are seeking help from a suicide hotline or a hotline for survivors of sexual assault or domestic abuse.”

Nakasone confirmed the purchases, saying in his letter to Wyden that the data collected “may include information associated with electronic devices being used outside – and, in certain cases, inside – the United States.”

The NSA attempted to defend the purchases by arguing that the information has significant value for national security and cybersecurity missions, and is used sparingly.

Red State Nation reports that Rep. Ilhan Omar, a known antisemite, has often suggested in various ways that anyone who supports Israel has “dual loyalty” and is somehow being paid off by Jews. Ironically, she’s the one who has a real dual loyalty problem, or worse, a singular loyalty to a foreign nation.

During a recent speech, of which clips are now going viral, Omar left nothing to the imagination. She proclaimed to the crowd that Somalis control the U.S. government and that it exists to “safeguard the interests of Somalia.” She also stated that she is Somalian first and Muslim second. There was no mention of any allegiance to the United States despite her serving in its Congress.

This isn’t surprising to anyone who has been paying attention, but Ilhan Omar clearly is feeling comfortable enough to say the quiet part out loud now.

The location of this speech was not entirely clear, but a banner can be seen in the video with a partial date and location of “(Janua)ary 27, 2024…(Ho)tel Minneapolis”, indicating the speech was given in Minneapolis on Saturday; and Omar repeatedly addressed Minnesotans in her speech.

Speaking of rogue Somalians, federal border agents caught a terrorist at the U.S. southern border and reportedly released him into the country, where he roamed freely for nearly a year before being arrested in Minnesota just days ago.

This is according to an internal federal memo exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The unnamed individual, who the memo only identifies as a member of the Somali terror group al-Shabaab, was released shortly after being caught illegally crossing the southern border near San Ysidro, California on March 13, 2023, according to the memo. The Terrorist Screening Center “deemed him a ‘mismatch’” after running his name through the terror watchlist, according to the memo, which was sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials.

However, on January 18, 2024, the Terrorist Screening Center “made a redetermination” that the individual was “a confirmed member of al-Shabaab” and was involved in the use, manufacture or transport of explosives or firearms, the memo states. Two days later, ICE nabbed the al-Shabaab member in Minneapolis, Minnesota.”

The number of suspected terrorists caught trying to illegally cross the southern border continues to grow. Border Patrol agents apprehended 50 illegal immigrants on the terror watchlist between October and December of last year, according to federal data. For comparison, there were a total of 30 such encounters between fiscal years 2017 and 2020.

And these are just the ones that got caught.

The widespread farmers’ protests happening all over Europe are having in France one of its most dramatic chapters, as tractors and cars are set to block all highways around Paris, and the security forces are on alert.

In a very typical move, President Emmanuel Macron and his government have caved to some farmers demands, but this time around the agricultural workers seem ready to go the extra mile in their protest over low produce prices, high fixed costs, growing red tape and the crippling green-energy regulations that expose them to exports from foreign countries.

Reuters reported that farmers in France, the European Union’s biggest agricultural producer, have complained of unfair competition from rivals in more lightly regulated countries. Over the last week, they have set up roadblocks on roadways to highlight their cause. They have also damaged property, including local government offices, according to Reuters.

Some farmers’ unions called for protesters to set up transport roadblocks around the capital on Monday, and to target a food market near Paris.

“Our aim is to encircle Paris,” farmer Daniel Faucheux told BFM TV, as he prepared to travel to the capital in a convoy of farmers’ vehicles and tractors.”

There was a heavy police presence.

The Epoch Times reports that China and Russia are populating space with dual-use satellites while concealing their military applications, according to a new report from the U.S. military.

The report states:

“China and Russia view the U.S. as overly reliant upon space for military and information superiority. Seeking asymmetric advantages in future conflict, both countries are designing, testing, and demonstrating counterspace weapons to deny, disrupt, or destroy satellites and space services. They often mask or conceal these activities to avoid international condemnation.”

The report, titled “Competing in Space,” was jointly written by the National Space Intelligence Center, a U.S. Space Force unit, and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, a U.S. Air Force unit.

The report adds:

“The dual-use nature of some spacecraft technologies makes counterspace tests or hostile activity difficult to detect, attribute, or mitigate. For example, sensors to inspect other satellites and robotic arms for servicing other satellites support peaceful missions, but can also be used to target or attack spacecraft.”

A debris mitigation satellite could function as a weapon system, the report says, pointing to China’s satellite Shijian-21, which in January 2022 towed a defunct Chinese navigation satellite to a graveyard orbit.

The report named another Chinese satellite, Shijian-17, which is equipped with a giant robotic arm, stating “Space-based robotic arm technology could be used in a future system for grappling other satellites.”

Russia has deployed several prototype orbital anti-satellites in low Earth orbit, including Cosmos 2504, 2519, and 2536, for testing “kinetic kill capabilities,” according to the report.

The report said Chinese military exercises “regularly incorporate jammers against satellite communications” and other targets, thus making Beijing likely to have been developing jammers targeting “a wide range of satellite communications supporting government and military operations.”

Other space capabilities that China and Russia are pursuing include directed-energy weapons.

The report says, “China has multiple ground-based laser systems of varying power levels that could blind or damage satellite sensors. By the mid-to-late 2020s, Beijing may have higher-power systems capable of damaging satellites.”

In 2021, China tested a hypersonic weapon system that, according to some experts, employs a deployment method similar to the Soviet concept known as the fractional orbital bombardment system. The report said the Chinese hypersonic weaponry “could prevent reliable missile warning and complicate defense engagements.”

Slay News has an article on a disturbing new report revealing that an overwhelming number of so-called “American elites” support the tyrannical “climate” policies of the World Economic Forum.

According to a report from the Committee to Unleash Prosperity (CUP), America’s wealthiest citizens fully support the WEF’s plan to ration gas, electricity, and meat and dairy products for the general public in order to allegedly “fight climate change.”

The report includes polling data regarding support for policies designed to force compliance with the WEF’s “Net Zero” agenda.

Astonishingly, the polling shows that almost 90 percent of “American elites” believe strict rationing of gas, meat, and electricity is necessary to combat the so-called “climate crisis.”

The CUP report shows that 77 percent of higher-income Americans overall support these plans.

But 89 percent of those wealthy individuals from “top universities” believe in restrictions on the public’s quality of life to meet so-called net zero.

In fact, nearly 60 percent of such people believe there’s too much liberty in America even though we’re less free than ever.

In another example of the pseudo-elite vs. street divide, 63 percent of Americans in general oppose the above rationing policy.

Reporting on the story, The College Fix writes that the “Committee to Unleash Prosperity, in a survey that sought to measure the beliefs of ‘elites,’ stated the findings reveal climate change ‘is clearly an obsession of the very rich and highly educated.’”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Just the News reports that groups of Americans began traveling Monday to the U.S.-Mexico border crossings in three states where they will demand the federal government secure the southern border as part of what they call the “Take Our Border Back Convoy.”

The convoy, which advertises itself as a “peaceful assembly & prayer,” started on Jan. 29, with plans to be at their final destinations near the border crossings of Eagle Pass, Texas, Yuma, Ariz., and San Ysidro, Calif., for a rally on Saturday, Feb. 3.

The convoy organizers said they “strongly condemn any violence” and that the event “is meant to bring our country together in love, kindness and in peace.”

They also said they are calling “all active & retired law enforcement and military, Veterans, Mama Bears, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, media and LAW ABIDING, freedom-loving Americans” to participate as they call on the government to take action to secure the border. 

While the rallies are being planned in three out of the four states bordering Mexico, it comes amid a standoff between Texas and the Biden administration.

The Supreme Court sided with the White House last week in an order that allows U.S. Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire that Texas placed along parts of its southern border as part of an effort to curtail record numbers of illegal immigration. 

Governors from 25 states last week signed a statement supporting Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott and his state's constitutional right to self-defense at the southern border. 

It is unclear how many people plan to participate in the convoy, but it is gaining traction on social media. 

I would advise caution to anyone who is planning on joining in on this event. The timing seems suspicious, right as the 2024 presidential primary season is heating up. There is nothing the Biden regime would like more than to accuse Trump supporters of another “insurrection” or violent uprising. 

All it would take is a few infiltrators to instigate a false flag event of some kind during an emotionally charged event like this.

I’m not telling people not to participate. That’s a decision everyone will have to make on their own. But please, be aware of your surroundings and try to avoid any unknown characters who could be working for the feds.

The organizers have been very clear online that they are not forming a militia, and are reporting posts from users that are wanting violence.
