Soros Open Society and Southern Baptist/NAMB Underground Railroad For Muslim Resettlement?
THE SBC IS PARTNERING WITH SOROS FUNDED “WELCOMING AMERICA” /NIF /WORLD RELIEF/ CATHOLiC CHARITIES ON MUSLIM REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT $$PROGRAMS $$.
Rev Thomas Littleton
10/25/2020
This past week marked the annual Immigration Coalition’s National Conference. An interesting and revealing line up of partners and sponsors participated in the Oct 22-23 2020 event. But prior to the event these partnerships had LONG AGO formed between Open Societies organizations , government funding and non profits operating as what Capitol Research.org dubbed a ” A Billion-Dollar Taxpayer Funded Advocacy Industry” for immigrants and refugees FLOODING INTO AMERICA.
“Welcoming America” is one of the long standing Soros and Open Societies funded organizations gathering partners in the immigration/refugee resettlement industry including evangelicals through the recruiting efforts of World Relief. Now The Southern Baptist Convention’s missions organizations like North American Missions Board/ Send Relief and NAMB’s “Acts 17 Initiative” are poised and sitting pretty in advocating for Islamic Refugees …if only these “advocates” can get President Trump out of the way.
Although in the past the movement for missions organizations to drive immigrant placement and immigration reform has had focus on the growing Spanish populations ,both legal and illegal – the clear focus became the Muslim Refugees after Obama administration’s failed policies launched the so called “Arab Spring” of mass Muslim migration. This displacement, coupled with Faith Based Partnership funds has made “getting in on the action” for ministries a very profitable endeavor.
THE IMMIGRATION COALITION EVENT: CASHING IN ON THE “CRISIS”?
The Acts 17 Initiative
“October 22 2020 · Shared with:Public#Immigration issues & the #refugee crisis are at a tipping point like we’ve never seen in the US. How will you respond? How will you lead others? You can still register to join us with the Immigration Coalition for #TIC2020 that kicks off virtually this evening at: theimmigrationcoalition.com/
WHAT PROBLEMS AND COMPROMISES THIS ARTICLE WILL DOCUMENT “
As part of the Faith Based Neighborhood Partnerships programs working with Federal grants / tax dollars cannot engage in religious activity including evangelism or “any explicitly religious activity”. Therefore to promote these programs as “missions” or “Gospel Ministry” is FRADULENT ! To engage in such activities with government funded programs is illegal. The government is not investing tax payer dollars for Baptist to proselytize or convert Muslims to Christian faith. Neither are “open borders” sponsors like Soros interested in the Great Commission.
*Two Soros and Open Societies funded organizations are at the top of the SBC effort.
*These organizations are “Welcoming America .org” and “National Immigration Forum”.
*NIF houses the Evangelical Immigration Roundtable on which Baptist Russell Moore works directly with the Obama Foundations Michael Wear for Immigration Reform.
https://immigrationforum.org/
*NIF and Catholic Charities trained Rondell Treviño who is the Founder and Director of The immigration Coalition whose event was held last week showing the Baptist partnerships in Refugee Resettlement.
*Catholic Charities and World Relief (NAE) partner openly with these 2 Open Society orgs.
*These non profits are focused heavily on Muslim Refugee Resettlement in the U. S.
*World Relief and Catholic Charities have taken in Billions since 2008 from government grants.
*By 2011 World Relief became the primary partner of Soros/Open Societies funded organizations to recruit Evangelical involvement with refugee outreaches.
* Now World Relief and Southern Baptist North American Missions Board ,DBA Send Relief and Acts 17 Initiative, along with International Missions Board are partnering in Muslim focused Refugee Resettlement in the US. These programs include legal aid with immigration services, a full range of social services, welfare, section 8 housing, education, job placement, health care, and anti discrimination protections.
*The Welcoming America .org Tool Fit calls for Interfaith/ community dialog and even training for rural communities to “welcome people different from themselves. “World Relief and other ministries including the Baptist are engaging such dialog in churches.
*Acts 17 Initiative of the Baptist missions organization NAMB was begun in 2016 but according to the conference this past week was “introduced”. It’s missions statement reads : “Acts 17 Initiative will collaborate with Gospel-centered churches, denominational entities, and ministries to strategically coordinate efforts, propose viable strategies, and develop partnerships that embrace missional involvement with immigrants and refugees in our communities. Jason Lee will launch and lead the Acts 17 Initiative, guiding churches to educate, equip, engage, and network to live out the Great Commission in their communities.”
WHY IT IS FRAUD TO LABEL FAITH BASED PARTNERSHIPS AS MINISTRY
“FINAL RULE IMPLEMENTING EXECUTIVE ORDER 13559: FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND POLICYMAKING CRITERIA FOR PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAITH-BASED AND OTHER NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS” August 6, 2015.
“Clarify what activities can and cannot be supported with direct Federal financial assistance by replacing use of the term “inherently religious activities” with the term “explicitly religious activities” and providing examples of such activities.”
“Prohibit organizations that receive Federal financial assistance for social service programs from discriminating against beneficiaries, including denying services or benefits, based on religion, a religious belief, a refusal to hold a religious belief, or a refusal to attend or participate in a religious practice.”
WELCOMING AMERICA AND WORLD RELIEF : A HISTORY FORMING EVANGELICAL ALLIES
GOVERNMENT & SOROS/ OPEN SOCIETIES FUNDING FOR WELCOMING AMERICA
“Welcoming America, an organization created specifically to advance the “Welcoming” mantra for refugees and immigrants, has received $1.2 million from the federal government since 2012. “Welcoming” is not an innocuous message. It employs a propaganda tactic to shame people into supporting Welcoming America’s open borders agenda. As founder and CEO David Lubell says, the goal is to “…recognize the role everyone must play in furthering the integration of recent immigrants…”
“The Trump administration zeroed out federal support for Welcoming America, leaving it to rely on its substantial support from private donations. Between 2011 and 2016, Welcoming America received almost $10 million from open borders foundations like Open Society ($450,000), Unbound Philanthropy ($984,450), Kellogg ($200,000), Kaplan, ($595,000), the Einhorn Family Trust ($1.5 million), Carnegie, ($325,000) and others. The Welcoming network includes over 90 cities and 114 organizations, including US Together, the Southern Poverty Law Center, numerous VOLAG affiliates, 10 YMCA branches and even some governmental entities, like the Atlanta Regional Commission and Redwood City 2020″

WELCOMING AMERICA 2011 TOOL KIT -WORLD RELIEF AND INTERFAITH DIALOG
October, 2011
DEAR READER,
“It is with great anticipation that we release the Receiving Communities Toolkit, a guide to engaging mainstream America in integrating newcomers into our communities. We believe that just as fertile soil is needed for a seed to grow, receptive communities are critical if immigrants are to thrive. The Receiving Communities Toolkit focuses on communities where new immigrants have made their homes, helping neighbors build relationships through trust and understanding. While others may concentrate on the seed, the toolkit’s emphasis is on preparing the soil in which it will flourish….”
COMMUNITY DIALOGUES
“Dialogues are an increasingly popular approach for engaging receiving communities. In a supportive and safe environment, participants have a platform for expressing their opinions, including their concerns and fears. Dialogue is seen as an important avenue for drawing the unsure out. Numerous resources have been developed to help community members use dialogue to bring those with dIfferent opinions together,
understand each other’s points of view, and reflect on their own perceptions.”
Dialogue Resources
Getting Started
“The Public Conversations Project/Welcoming America tool is arguably the best place to start when looking at different dialogue resources because it has been designed specifically for engaging receiving communities members. Public Conversations Project’s (PCP) dialogue methodology helps practitioners bring together diverse community members to understand the experiences of people with different identities, values and world views; reflect on their own life experiences, values, perceptions and assumptions; develop genuine curiosity about other participants’ lives and perspectives; and move beyond stereotypes to see the rich complexity and humanity of others.”
WORLD RELIEF’S ROLE IN COURTING EVANGELICALS FOR WELCOMING AMERICA
Engaging Evangelical Leaders
“World Relief, a national refugee resettlement organization, is working on a number of novel approaches at the local level to engage faith leaders on behalf of immigrants and refugees. One notable effort involves a focus on pastors of evangelical churches. Matt Soerens, a faith organizer with World Relief, is linking the pastors of white and non-white evangelical congregations to promote greater understanding of the issues. Soerens fosters peer-level relationships between traditional and immigrant church leaders and uses messages rooted in scripture about how to treat “strangers” as well as facts about local immigration to dispel myths and stereotypes. Pastors who have witnessed changing demographics in their own or nearby churches tend to be easier to engage.”
“World Relief brings the voices of national church leaders, such as the pastors of mega-churches who have thousands in their congregations and a strong national following, into communities to speak on behalf of immigrant integration. Says Soerens, “Communication with evangelical leaders is critical, but it must be the right message and the right messenger. The Bible should form the primary basis of the conversation. With faith leaders, you can’t lead with an economic or political argument – those are, or at least should be, secondary for evangelicals. The messenger needs to be someone well versed in the Bible who appeals to faith authorities. If they are obedient to the Scripture, churches should be striving to promote unity and work to empower and serve the community. If churches don’t like immigrants, they aren’t doing their job.”
“One event World Relief sponsored brought together nearly 200 pastors around issues of immigration. About 75% represented white congregations and the remainder were non-white. The event featured panel presentations from pastors about their congregational practices, including sponsoring a refugee family, providing ESL classes, and ministry opportunities.”
NOTE: ACCORDING TO CAPITOL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
“World Relief Corporation of the National Association of Evangelicals received $215.3 million for refugee resettlement and $276.2 million for all purposes. For all VOLAGs and unaccompanied alien children (UAC) contractors, the federal government has awarded $8.5 billion in prime grants for the refugee/UAC programs since 2008.”

THIS LAST WEEKS EVENT- THE BIG REVEAL.
“Have you or other Christians you know struggled to understand what the Bible says about the topic of immigration? In a society polarized by extreme and unhealthy views, what does it look like to daily live out God’s calling on us towards Immigrants, Migrants, Asylum-Seekers, and Refugees? In light of these questions, The immigration Coalition is holding “Healthy Understanding + Healthy Practice” – a virtual conference on October 22-23 to help Christians develop a biblical approach to immigration that respects the rule of law while evangelizing, doing justice, and showing compassion to Immigrants, Migrants, Asylum-Seekers, and Refugees. Come away with a renewed perspective that is biblically balanced and centered in Jesus Christ alone.”
ORIGINS OF THE IMMIGRATION COALITION
SOROS FUNDED NIF AND EVANGELICAL IMMIGRATION TABLE “WORKING WITH THE HELP OF CATHOLIC CHARITIES “.
“When Rondell and Laura filled out an I-130 Visa with the help of Catholic Charities, they both began to grow a deep passion for Immigration and the value of Immigrants because they began to live an Immigration story themselves as they had to wait almost two and a half years for their I-130 petition to approve, and were separated for the majority of their first two years of marriage. Immigration became personal to them. While all of this was going on, Rondell ended up leaving Fellowship Memphis Church as a Pastoral Resident and began working for the Evangelical Immigration Table and National Immigration Forum for the entire 2016 year where he trained Churches, businesses, and Law Enforcement on Immigration from a Biblical perspective and Immigration throughout the Southeast.”
CATHOLIC CHARITIES IMMIGRATION JACKPOT UNDER OBAMA ADMINISTRATION
US CONFERENCE FOR CATHOLIC BISHOPS (OR USCCB)
“While it has received $742.6 million since FY 2008 for refugee programs, USCCB received a total of $4.1 billion from the federal government for all the various programs it administered during this period.”
“The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, International Rescue Committee, and World Relief Corporation of the National Association of Evangelicals, have a broader mission.”
“Of the latter, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is the largest. As Table III shows, in FY 2018 USCCB received $47.7 million for resettlement purposes. However, USCCB participates in other federal grant programs and that year received a total of $363.9 million from the federal government. And 2018 was a slow year. In FY 2017, USCCB received $531.5 million. It administers programs as diverse as Global AIDS, Food For Peace Development Assistance, USAID Foreign Assistance”
https://cis.org/Rush/Private-
“Inside the United States, nine non-governmental organizations work with, and are funded by, the Department of State to resettle refugees. These religious or community-based organizations referred to as voluntary agencies (or volags) .”
“Two refugee VOLAG affiliates, Lutheran Social Services (LSS) and Catholic Charities, receive millions in both prime and sub-grants for refugee resettlement. In many ways, they could be considered VOLAGs in their own right. They also act as prime contractors for the UAC program. UACs have added substantially to their bottom line, with UAC grants alone totaling $245.7 million for the two organizations since 2008.”
“Additionally, much like its senior partner, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the many Catholic Charities affiliates across the U.S. receive grants from many different federal programs, such as Head Start, Section 8 Housing, homeless veterans’ programs, and others, in addition to refugee and UAC resettlement. In FY 2018 alone, Catholic Charities programs in the U.S. collected a total of $118 million in prime grants and another $1.3 million in Veterans Administration contracts. And even that isn’t the end of it. There is Catholic Community Services, Catholic Social Services, Inc., the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, and others, all of which receive resettlement and/or UAC grants. The Catholic Church does big business with the federal government and throws its weight around to protect its refugee resettlement franchise.”

JASON LEE OF ACTS 17 INITIATIVE SOUNDS EXCITED ABOUT THE FUTURE PROSPECTS AND “CLAIMS” THAT 1% OF THE WORLD’S POPULATION IS NOW “DISPLACED” AS REFUGEES.
The Acts 17 Initiative
Shared with: Public – “The UNHCR released their annual report today (6/18/20) and the numbers are even more staggering than 2019’s. The number of displaced peoples increased almost 10 million in 1 year from over 70 million in 2019 to over 79,500,000 displaced in 2020. These numbers should cause us to weep, pray & act. The report shows that now 1% of all humanity is displaced, that is – 1 in every 97 people! We should grieve over this & lament that the US will only officially help up to 18,000 of these 80 million (through refugee resettlement). Will you join me in praying & be equipped to help make a difference? Please start by reading our two articles here (from pre-pandemic):”
THE SOUTHERN BAPTIST ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS IN THE REFUGEE INDUSTRY.
LGBTQ INCLUSION IN OUTLINED IN REFUGEE TOOL KIT OF WELCOMING AMERICAN
“Building Alliances with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Community There are growing opportunities to strengthen ties between the LGBT community and immigrants. First, LGBT advocates are becoming increasingly aware of the many immigrants who are LGBT, and to be more effective, they need to see their community in its totality. Secondly, immigrants and the LGBT community have some common adversaries, such as some policymakers who are extremely anti-LGBT and anti-immigrant. And, as the nation’s population grows increasingly diverse, the LGBT community recognizes the need to build long-term alliances with, and respond to the concerns of, immigrants.” Page 13
This focus also helps explain much of the leftward drift on LGBTQ issues out of the Baptist inner circles and seminaries . Revoice and other “LGBT+ Thriving events launched at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of Albert Mohler make much more sense…perverted but understandable in light of these partnerships and the money associated with them.
CONCLUSION

World Vision, World Relief, Catholic Charities, Lutheran Charities have cashed in heavily on Faith Based Partnership/ tax dollars. FEW in the churches at “pew level” outside denominational inner circles even know that such funding is in play. They do NOT know about PROHIBITIONS TO MINISTRY due to the Federal and International funding. Southern Baptist leaders appear to be late to the game and eager for Refugee Resettlement funding and are poised now to reap massive funds if President Donald Trump can be removed without a second term. This places the Anti- Trump Rhetoric of Baptist like Russell Moore (also a major reform advocate for Soros funded NIF) in a very different light indeed.
There has been little said about the radical change in American Culture and Religious Liberty that a massive artificial and politically driven resettlement of Muslims will bring about in America. Europe has shown us some of these realities but few wish to talk about them.
In the name of evangelism and “God bringing Muslims to our shores to hear the Gospel” these Baptist and other ministry leaders seek to garner support for “ministry opportunities” that in fact do not exist while they partner with such funding and organizations. NAMB and IMB and Acts 17 Initiative appear VERY EAGER INDEED to indoctrinate the next generation of Baptist (our children and grandchildren) in the politically correct and profitable narratives so they can sell the vision. IMB just announced its own conference “vision casting ” to pastors to sell Gen Z on its speakers UN Global Goals , & Campaign and other leftward drift narratives as “The Future of Missions”.
In short: Neither Soros nor Open Societies foundations nor the Federal Government are interested in helping Southern Baptist fulfill “the Great Commission” . A mass human migration politically driven and strategically placing Muslim immigrants / refugees in conservative voting districts is not a “Move of God”. Muslims, generally are not coming to American shores to find Christian faith or for the chance to live an American way of life. YET this is what we are being told by Baptist leaders and other ministries whose eyes are more likely on milking the Faith Based cash cow. The first and last question is- How do they think to justify these dirty partnerships and outcomes to The Lord on judgement day and how do they intend to answer their own children and grandchildren for the “America” their misguided deception and visions will leave behind?
Christians have typically been an easy mark for hustlers. These current leaders in the SBC and World Relief and other ministries give new meaning to the phrase “Fools Rush In”. Only in this gold rush the price is higher than ever and our own tax dollars, in vintage Alinsky radicalism , are being used to destroy us. NO honest Biblical justification can be made for aiding and abetting the destruction of national borders of the Constitution. The world deserves BETTER out of the American Church.
Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread)
Elvis Presley
Fools rush in, where angels fear to tread
And so I come to you my love
My heart above my head
Though I see the danger there
If there’s a chance for me
Then I don’t care, oh-oh-oh-ohFools rush in, where wise men never go
But wise men never fall in love
So how are they to know
When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let
This fool rush inAnd I don’t care, oh-oh-oh-oh
Fools rush in, where wise men never go
But wise men never fall in love
So how are they to…
