Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved updates to the country’s nuclear war doctrine, lowering the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons, while preparing the country for a nuclear confrontation with the West.

The decree, signed on Tuesday, the day after a brazen Ukrainian missile attack using U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles to strike deep inside of Russian territory, introduces new conditions that could trigger Russia deploying its nuclear arsenal.

The updated nuclear policy includes conventional attacks by non-nuclear states if those attacks are backed by a nuclear power. 

Under the revised policy, Russia has broadened the scenarios that could trigger a nuclear response, state-run news agency Tass reported. A significant strike using conventional missiles, drones, or aircraft against Russia could now qualify as grounds for nuclear retaliation by Russia.

The White House dismissed concerns over Putin’s updated nuclear doctrine, emphasizing stability in Russia’s nuclear strategy. A National Security Council spokesperson said there has been “no indication of any shift in Russia’s nuclear posture,” downplaying the significance of the announcement.

I guess as long as these reckless U.S. officials say Russia’s policy hasn’t changed, we’re supposed to believe it hasn’t changed.

In a sign that Russia’s leadership takes the threat of a nuclear confrontation seriously, the country’s state-run Civil Defense and Emergencies research institute, a part of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry, said Monday that mobile bomb shelters it had developed had gone into mass production for the first time in history.

The shelters, called KUB-M units, look like shipping containers and provide 48-hour protection for people from various threats, including natural disasters and man-made accidents, including the “air shock wave and light radiation of a nuclear explosion,” penetrating radiation and radioactive contamination of an area, the institute said Monday.

The units can also protect from hazardous chemicals, fires and conventional weapons, the research institute said, adding that the key advantage of its KUB-M units was their mobility. Each container can shelter 54 people, it added, with additional capacity possible if more modules were fitted.

The U.S. has no such plan to protect its population in the event of nuclear war.

The Chinese ship Yi Peng is the main suspect in the investigation into who cut two undersea telecom cables between Finland-Germany and Sweden-Lithuania. The ship sailed right over the cables when they were cut at 8 a.m. local time on Sunday and 2 a.m. on Monday.

The World Tribune reports that the two data cables in the Baltic Sea, connecting Finland and Germany as well as Sweden and Lithuania, were damaged on Sunday and Monday.

According to Danish authorities, the Chinese bulker Yi Peng 3 is the top suspect as it traveled over the reported incident sites at the times of the failures, GCaptain.com reported on Tuesday.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has said damage to two undersea cables in the Baltic Sea looks like an act of sabotage and a “hybrid action” without knowing who is to blame.

A similar event occurred in 2023 when the Balticonnector between Finland and Estonia was damaged. A Chinese container vessel was later found to have dragged its anchor across the pipeline.

After initial stonewalling by Chinese authorities, Finnish officials launched their own investigation and eventually found that the pipeline’s damage was caused by the Chinese ship. Like Yi Peng 3, that ship had departed from a Russian port prior to the incident.

Thousands of American kids are being sent to camps run by a Chinese influence and intelligence agency that promotes Chinese Communist Party propaganda and even trains some children to act like “Little Overseas Chinese Police,” a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation discovered.

The Chinese government advertises the “Root-Seeking Summer Camp In China” as an opportunity for ethnically Chinese children living in the U.S. and other countries to immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture. 

However, a Daily Caller review of Chinese government announcements and the program’s website discovered the camps are overseen by a Chinese influence and intelligence service.

The program not only exposes participants as young as 10 years old to CCP propaganda, but some even operate like boot camps run by officers from the People’s Liberation Army and Ministry of Public Security, Chinese government social media posts reveal.

Michigan Republican Rep. John Moolenaar, chairman of the House Select Committee on the CCP, told the Daily Caller:

“The long arm of the CCP’s malign influence extends into the United States and seeks to assert an illegitimate claim on all those of Chinese ancestry, regardless of their nationality. We need to protect all those on American soil from the CCP’s authoritarian agenda, particularly by educating the American public on the true nature of the Party and its dystopian vision.”

A swarm of multiple mysterious drones circled parts of Morris County, New Jersey, Monday night into Tuesday morning, drawing the attention of local law enforcement. 

Some reports indicated a Black Hawk helicopter, believed to be piloted by the New Jersey State Police, was also in the area at the time of the drone swarm. 

North Jerzy Fire Alert wrote in a post to X Monday night:

“Unusual activity reported over Morris County, NJ: multiple large drones spotted flying from the Somerset County border northward and back. Law enforcement has been advised to notify their communications centers of any sightings. Photo taken in Morristown.”

The Japan Times reports that Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has said that a meeting with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, initially considered for after his departure from South America, has been delayed, after Trump’s team confirmed that no meetings with foreign leaders will take place before his January inauguration.

The prime minister told reporters on Saturday in Peru, where he was attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum:

“We are considering holding a meeting as soon as possible at a time that is most convenient for both sides.”

According to the Japanese leader, Trump’s team explained that no meetings with foreign leaders will take place before the inauguration due to legal constraints under the Logan Act, despite numerous requests.

The 1799 law bars private citizens from negotiating diplomatic matters with foreign governments.

The Daily Mail reports that the violent Venezuelan super gang Tren de Aragua is on the march, gaining a foothold in 16 states, Homeland Security officials have warned. 

TdA territory now covers half of America's population, posing challenges for law enforcement agencies across the U.S. who are trying to combat the gang's wave of crime.

The gang has spread its tentacles across Virginia, Washington, DC, Montana and Wyoming, according to an internal Homeland Security department intelligence memo obtained by The New York Post.

Officials warn that TdA's arrival in the U.S. capital and nearby Virginia coincides with increases in migrant populations in those areas, the memo states.

TdA is reportedly targeting DC because the city provides easy travel access to wealthy northern Virginian suburbs where gangsters are carrying out thefts, robberies and assaults.

The mob's bloodthirsty members have also increased their violent tendencies and have become more engaged with lower-level fraud and theft schemes that allow them to send stolen funds back to South America as a means of financing additional criminal enterprises, according to the intelligence document.

Homeland security officials warn that as the population of Venezuelan nationals continues to increase, the potential for violent TdA migrants is highly probable.

TdA also holds footholds in New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin and Colorado.

As previously reported, the first transgendered person has been elected to Congress from the state of Delaware.

This person is a biological male, born and raised as Tim McBride.

Mr. McBride at some point changed his name to Sarah McBride and pretends to be a woman.

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said she will not tolerate this mentally ill man invading women’s bathrooms in the Capitol, putting him on notice that he “needs to respect my space, my privacy and other women’s space and privacy, because he is not a woman.”

The RAIR Foundation reports that Germany’s public safety crisis, fueled by leftist open-border policies that ignored cultural incompatibilities and brought violent migrants into the country, is being met with cowardly, Sharia-like segregation proposals instead of real solutions like deportation and border control.

Germany’s public safety crisis is spiraling out of control, and leftist politicians are offering “solutions” that do nothing but exacerbate the problem. Antje Kapek, a Green Party councilor in Berlin, has proposed introducing women-only train carriages as a response to the rampant sexual violence plaguing public transport. 

Instead of admitting that their open-border policies created this disaster, Kapek and her allies double down on cowardice, suggesting segregation instead of addressing the root cause: violent migrants, mainly Islamic, who refuse to respect women and the laws of their host country.

Kapek’s call for women-only carriages is a thinly veiled admission of failure. She and her Green Party colleagues cannot acknowledge that their open-border policies brought this crisis to Germany, so they deflect with band-aid solutions that punish the victims instead of the perpetrators. Kapek’s suggestion would place women’s carriages directly behind the driver, an arrangement resembling those in Indonesia, where women are segregated for their safety.

Britain might finally be waking up to the fact that it elected a totalitarian government.

Children as young as 9 are being investigated by the police for non-crime hate incidents. 

According to the Daily Mail:

“A nine-year-old child is among the youngsters being probed by police over hate incidents... Officers recorded incidents against the child, who called a fellow primary school pupil a ‘retard,’ and against two schoolgirls who said another student smelled ‘like fish.’ The youngsters were among multiple cases of children being recorded as having committed non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs), The Times discovered through freedom of information requests to police forces.”

So-called non-crime hate is not exactly new. In 2014, the police introduced the Hate Crime Operational Guidelines, which have since been updated. According to the guidelines, any non-crime incident that is perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by a hostility or prejudice based on a person's race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or transgender identity must be recorded, even if there is no evidence of the hate element.

Since 2014, British police have reportedly recorded more than 250,000 non-crime hate incidents in England and Wales. The non-crime incidents, logged in a system, can even show up when employers ask for a copy of a prospective employee's criminal record.

In late June, a 12-year-old Jewish boy had counter-terrorism police come to interrogate him at his home for saying there “are only two genders” and for saying that Hamas should be “exterminated.”

His mother said the counter terror officers “raised concerns over the fact that her son, who is Jewish, harbored extremist views on account of his response when asked if there were any groups that shouldn't exist... her son responded that ‘Hamas (the Gaza-based terror group) should be wiped out.’” He was also accused of “unhealthy interest in weapons” for owning a toy crossbow.

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate veteran Wall Street financier Howard Lutnick to head up the Commerce Department.

The news comes days after the Cantor Fitzgerald CEO was reportedly passed over to lead the Treasury Department.

Lutnick, who has the backing of several prominent allies including Elon Musk, has been a fierce advocate of Trump's economic proposals, including a pledge to impose sweeping tariffs.

If confirmed, Lutnick would oversee the agency focused on expanding U.S. economic growth and boosting domestic industries, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The Commerce Secretary supports U.S. businesses, often acting as an emissary between nations to negotiate trade deals and increase foreign investment. There are 13 bureaus within the department, including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Last month, Lutnick said at a Madison Square Garden Trump rally that the U.S. was the most prosperous during the early 1900s, when there was “no income tax and all we had was tariffs.”

Trump, meanwhile, has pledged to impose 60% tariffs on goods from China, and 10% tariffs on goods from other countries.

Boeing has laid off 2,199 workers in Washington, according to a notice filed Monday with the state’s Employment Security Department.

The cuts are part of a companywide effort to reduce Boeing’s workforce by 10%, or 17,000 workers. Managers began scheduling meetings and delivering pink slips over three days last week, starting on Wednesday.

The cuts were far-reaching, hitting workers at Boeing facilities across the country, from Washington to Missouri to Arizona to South Carolina. They also appeared to impact workers in all three of Boeing’s divisions: commercial airplanes, defense and global services.

Before the layoff notices delivered last week, Boeing had 66,000 workers in Washington.

Time now for tonight’s Worldview Report commentary.

As we reported earlier in this broadcast, things are moving very fast toward World War III.

And the problem with World War III is that it could quickly go nuclear. I interviewed military and EMP expert David Pyne Tuesday and he told me that the way things are escalating, we could see nuclear weapons used within weeks of a head-to-head conventional war between Russia and NATO.

Putin’s signing of the updated nuclear posture follows the controversial decision by the Biden administration on Monday to permit Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles for strikes on Russian territory. Ukraine wasted no time launching these weapons, unleashing six of the U.S. missiles on a large ammunition depot inside Russia’s Bryansk region.

The use of long-range missiles by Kiev represents a new phase in the conflict, and Putin has said any such action would mean Russia is actually at war with the U.S. and NATO, not just Ukraine. 

In short, Joe Biden is risking the annihilation of vast numbers of American citizens, and he’s doing it without so much as a press conference to explain why.

With Trump having won the election on a platform that included ending the war in Ukraine, the Washington warmongering establishment now appears to be on a mission to defy Trump’s pro-peace mandate. They clearly want World War III to break out before Trump gets in office.

When Russian missiles are incoming, no one in Washington can say they weren’t warned.
