As a new calendar year begins, it seems appropriate to give you, gentle readers, some accounting of what I've been doing this year and the one coming up. Some of these are academic books and thus expensive but you can always get discounts and also have your institutions or libraries order them.1. Guide to Islamist Movements, is a collection of 55 articles on Islamism in about that many countries, including leaders, ideologies, groups, and activities. M.E. Its theme is about how big historical events affected a small town and individual people. For me, it was a labor of love, to say the least.
