The World is Quickly Moving Toward a Food Crisis: Worldview Report Transcript For March 16, 2022

Good evening everyone and welcome to the Worldview Report. I’m Brannon Howse.

Zero Hedge is reporting that China has amplified Russian claims, dismissed as “disinformation” in the west, that the United States has a network of biological labs in Ukraine that are being used to research how to spread pathogens through animals.

The U.S. State Department insists the secretive biolabs are focused on “securing Cold War era Soviet bioweapons,” although this hasn’t stopped accusations flying about more nefarious purposes.

Such concerns gained traction after Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland expressed fears that the labs would fall into the hands of Vladimir Putin.

Nuland said:

“We are now in fact quite concerned that Russian troops, Russian forces, may be seeking to gain control of [those labs], so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach.”

This prompted journalist Glenn Greenwald to note that Nuland had “destroyed… any hope to depict such ‘facilities’ as benign or banal.”

Now Beijing has upped the ante by echoing Russian claims that the labs are part of a secret biological warfare research program.

RUSSIA has released a chilling new video of its 7,000 mph Zircon hypersonic missile that could hit London or New York within 5 to 7 minutes of being launched. The missile is capable of carring a nuclear or conventional payload.

Take a look.

The video shows a Mach 9 Zircon – or Tsirkon missile fired from the Admiral Gorshkov frigate in the White Sea. The Kremlin has previously branded the weapon “unstoppable.”

China also has developed a hypersonic missile. The U.S. is believed to be lagging behind in this type of weaponry.

NATO has amassed 30,000 troops, 200 aircraft and 50 warships near Russia’s border for military exercises. The drill, code-named Cold Response, kicked off Monday in Norway amid escalating tensions between Russia and the West over the invasion of Ukraine.

According to TheSun, The exercise includes 30,000 troops from more than 25 countries from Europe and North America, 200 aircraft, and 50 vessels. The largest NATO exercise which is held just a few miles from the Russian border was planned long before Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine but its significance has now been heightened.

“This exercise is extremely important for the security of Norway and its allies. We will practice an allied reinforcement of Norway,” Norwegian Defense Minister Roger Enoksen told AFP, adding: “It is not being held because of the Russian authorities’ attack on Ukraine, but given the backdrop, there is a heightened significance.”

Individuals with Down syndrome and their families were shocked and disheartened by a recent social media post from the World Health Organization last week that listed Down syndrome as a birth defect that can be “prevented.”

However, as LifeSite News points out, there is no way to prevent Down syndrome itself. “Preventing” Down syndrome really means eliminating those who have the condition through abortion.

“Today is World Birth Defects Day,” the WHO originally wrote on March 3, according to the screenshot below. “Most birth defects can be prevented and treated with access to quality maternal and newborn care. Yet, every year, they cause the deaths of close to 250,000 babies within just 1 month of birth.”

Down syndrome was then listed as one of the “most common severe birth defects.” After receiving backlash, the WHO edited the Facebook post to remove Down syndrome from the list, and deleted the paragraph of information. However, it appears a separate post on Twitter also included Down syndrome as a birth defect.

News host Rachel Campos-Duffy, a mother of nine children — including one with Down syndrome – replied to the WHO tweet with a tweet of her own saying, “Down syndrome is NOT a birth defect. It’s a chromosomal variation. My baby w/ Downs is as human & valuable as any of my other kids. These comments lead to discrimination & abortion. Celebrate, don’t eliminate differences.”

The average U.S. price for regular-grade gasoline at the pump soared a whopping 79 cents over the past two weeks to hit a record $4.43 per gallon on Sunday.

That exceeds by 32 cents the prior all-time high of $4.11 set in July 2008, AP reports.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey said Sunday the new price is still some way from the inflation-adjusted record high of about $5.24 per gallon.

The price at the pump is $1.54 higher than it was a year ago, with plenty of consumers pointing directly at President Joe Biden and his policies.

Stickers depicting a smiling Biden with a pointed finger captioned “I did that!” are popping up at gas pumps throughout the country as pockets of working-class Americans continue to feel the economic strain, as Breitbart News reported.

Two weeks after the Russia-Ukraine crisis began, the world is quickly moving toward a food crisis that could affect millions of people. A spillover of the crisis could soon spark agricultural mayhem in the U.S.

The curtailment of agricultural exports from Russia and Ukraine will have dramatic knock-on effects on global food supplies. Both countries are known as the 'breadbasket of the world' and are responsible for a quarter of the international wheat trade, about a fifth of corn, and 12% of all calories traded globally. Another major problem is access to fertilizers, as Russia has banned exports of the nutrients.

It's not whether or not there will be a food crisis. It's how big that crisis will be.

We've already noted a handful of emerging market countries to monitor as the Russian invasion is choking off grain exports to them and causing prices to rise, which may result in social unrest. Even in the Western world, agricultural markets have not been immune, and higher prices have stung consumers.

A tweet from Douglas Karr, the founder of the businesses blog Martech Zone, made the point that the "media isn't even warning you" a food crisis in America is emerging.

Karr said he spoke with numerous folks in the food industry who said farmers in the South and Midwest are having trouble procuring fertilizer to grow crops ahead of planting season. He said farmers in the "Midwest are switching," likely referring to crops that need fewer nutrients because they "can't get nitrogen nor fertilizer."

So, buckle up. Be forewarned. Food insecurity is coming to millions of American households, likely by the end of this year.

Moderna announced Monday it is developing three new vaccines using mRNA technology for cancer, shingles and herpes.

Yet, as Truth Based Media reports, the current mRNA shot has not proven to be successful, nor are the long-term effects of genetic therapy anymore known than they were a year ago. And what we do know thus far has been extremely negative regarding the increased likelihood of myocarditis, strokes, autoimmune conditions and immune-system degradation.

But that isn’t stopping Moderna.

Moderna and BioNTech, the two companies that developed mRNA vaccines with emergency use authorization in the U.S., had not produced an approved product before the COVID injection, but now they are moving on to a slew of new products, none of which have a track record for safety or efficacy.

Some in the medical establishment tout the Covid injections as “safe and effective.” Yet, the shots don’t stop people from getting Covid or from being hospitalized, and it has a significant risk of adverse side effects, including permanent disability and death.

Dr. Robert Malone, who discovered how to prepare mRNA so human cells could incorporate the genetic code and use it, warned the FDA that the gene-therapy injections could be dangerous, and he is warning parents they should not inject their children, which is a decision he said could bring “irreversible damage” to their DNA, with even the possibility of passing their now defective DNA onto offspring.

None of this seems to concern the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Gun control has been signed into law by President Biden with the support of turncoat Republicans.

Under the cover of darkness in the middle of the night, the U.S. Senate voted to pass the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 (VAWA). Some gun rights groups raised alarm bells when this act passed the U.S. House of Representatives last year with Republican support. At the time, Republicans claimed the anti-gun provisions would be removed.

Democrats and Republicans led by Iowa Senator Jodi Ernst negotiated the bill’s anti-gun provisions.

Republican politicians, who previously vowed never to vote for the bill unless the anti-gun provisions were removed, voted yes with those anti-gun provisions fully intact.

Under the proposed law, women and men will be allowed to legally be stripped of their Second Amendment rights without due process of law, based on a mere accusation from a former or current partner.

Dudley Brown, president of the National Association for Gun Rights, has said about this piece of legislation:

“No other constitutional right is treated with such great disdain as your right to self-defense. Drafting legislation which is intended to protect women, but simultaneously allowing for baseless accusations to be the bedrock for which your rights are taken away is an absolute gross violation of due process and the Second Amendment.”

Besides Senator Ernst, the following Republican senators voted for this gun-control bill:

Barrasso of Wyoming

Blunt of Missouri

Capito of West Virginia

Collins of Maine

Cornyn of Texas

Graham (R-SC)

Grassley (R-IA)

Hyde-Smith of Mississippi

McConnell of Kentucky

Moran of Kansas

Murkowski of Alaska

Portman of Ohio

Shelby of Alabama

Thune of South Dakota

Tuberville of Alabama

Wicker of Mississippi

Young of Indiana

Prominently among those Republicans to betray the Second Amendment was Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith. Senator Hyde-Smith had previously released a statement to AmmoLand News that she would never vote for the bill in its anti-gun version.

Second Amendment enemies are also seeking passage of the Stopping the Fraudulent Sales of Firearms Act, known as S 3776 and HR 6997.

According to an article by Harold Hutchison at Ammoland News, the legislation purports to prohibit the importation, sale, or manufacture of firearms “by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises.”

This seems reasonable on the surface. Nobody wants to be sold a firearm on the basis of misrepresentation or a false promise. But there are red flags when Second Amendment supporters think things through.

For starters, the Senate bill is sponsored by Dianne Feinstein, a long-standing enemy of our Second Amendment rights. Her co-sponsors include Cory Booker and Richard Blumenthal.

Aside from its sponsors, there is the obvious question: Who gets to decide what constitutes “false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises?”

Suppose some anti-Second Amendment extremist decides that those who advertise firearms for self-defense are making “false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises?” That now becomes a new way to hit someone with a five-year jail term and a felony conviction.

This is also a way to “legalize” lawsuits like the one brought against Remington over Sandy Hook.

So, let’s call it what it is: A dangerous end run around the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. Hutchison reminds us of what Feinstein said not so long ago on 60 Minutes. She wants an Australia-style ban, but if she can’t have it, she’ll figure out what she can get legislatively. Or she’ll enable other attacks outside the legislative process.

Hutchinson urges Second Amendment supporters to contact their Representative and Senators and politely urge them to oppose the Stopping the Fraudulent Sales of Firearms Act.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Facebook for its role in helping him win the propaganda war after the platform announced it would permit calls for violence against Russians.

Facebook, which recently changed its name to Meta, announced on March 10th it would permit ‘calls for violence against Russians’.

“As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have temporarily made allowances for forms of political expression that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as ‘death to the Russian invaders.’ We still won’t allow credible calls for violence against Russian civilians,” a Meta spokesperson said in a statement.

Moscow responded by banning both Facebook and Instagram in Russia.

In our commentary tonight, we take a look at the dishonest and reckless mainstream media.

Everywhere you look these days, whether it’s legacy media or cable news outlets, you hear 24/7 coverage of the war in Ukraine. It’s almost like a memo went out to stop talking about Covid and start talking nonstop about a country in Eastern Europe that most Americans could not place on a map.

The big push now is for a no-fly zone over Ukraine, something the president of that country has asked for along with men and munitions to defend against Russia’s invasion.

To start it off, Ukraine’s Zelensky has repeatedly called for foreign countries to send their men, munitions, and fighter jets to the region to create a no-fly zone over his country.

The Washington Post recently posted an opinion piece titled “Want to help Ukraine? Close the sky.” Within the piece, it’s argued that toddlers and babies will not receive the food, blankets, and medical supplies they need to stay alive and that children will suffer psychological trauma unless America incorporates a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Now, 27 foreign policy “experts” have sent a letter to D.C. lobbying for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Within their letter, they stated, “NATO leaders should convey to Russian officials that they do not seek direct confrontation with Russia forces, but they must also make clear that they will not countenance Russian attacks on civilian areas.”

Sean Hannity wants us to bomb Russian convoys, Facebook now permits talking about committing acts of violence against Russians, and others are pushing similar policies.

Mark Levin has pushed for similar escalation of U.S. involvement.

But what is a no-fly zone and what would the repercussions be? That’s a question Red Wave Press decided to dissect and shed light upon, rather than just jumping on the group-think bandwagon like so many neoconservative sites and talking heads like to do.

A no-fly zone means NATO wouldn’t let any Russian planes fly over Ukraine. How is this enforced? With jets, missiles, and anti-aircraft guns. This means that if a Russian jet were to fly over Ukrainian soil, NATO (aka The United States) would shoot that jet down.

To advocate for a no-fly zone is to advocate for American kinetic action against Russian forces. It is to argue for America to get involved in a conventional war against another nuclear power.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out where that could lead, especially if Vladimir Putin starts to feel like a cornered rat.

Taking positions and indoctrinating their followers in a policy that can only lead to an escalation to World War III between nuclear powers is not only stupid but reckless and irresponsible.

Stop the war mongering. America has no national security interest in Ukraine and we should do everything in our power to end that war with Russia before it spreads to other nations and regions. Eastern Europe has always been a powder keg, a killing field. This is where World War I started. It has the same horrific potential today.

That’s our broadcast for tonight. Thanks for tuning in to the Worldview Report with yours truly, Brannon Howse. We’ll see you back here tomorrow night. Good night and take care.

In 2016, WVW-TV began to urge our radio and television audience to prepare for increasingly uncertain times such as:

  • disrupted “just in time” inventory supply chains
  • massive increase in inflation
  • biological warfare and terrorism
  • an EMP attack from China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea
  • A cyber attack on our critical infrastructure, including power-grid, water utilities and/or the banking industry

Then, 2020 happened with the biological attack on America by Communist China through Covid-19. Finding hamburger meat, a can of soup, pasta, a can of tuna, and other basics became shockingly challenging.

Those who had mocked our organization for calling on our audience to prepare with an emergency food supply were no longer laughing at us. In fact, some of them began to order emergency food from our store.

I have enjoyed Mountain House food on camping trips going back to when I was in high school. I purchased 6 months of food for 5 people in April of 2013 for my family. Three and a half years later, Worldview Weekend became a distributor for Mountain House because we personally know and testify to the quality of the food and understand the need for families to have "food insurance" in an increasingly dangerous world.

Please go to www.wvwtv.com/store

to place your order while we have the inventory or go directly to this link: https://shop.worldviewweekend.com/products/cat/14841

Your purchase of emergency, freeze dried food will not only support your family, but you will also be supporting the continuation of WVW Broadcast Network and all our free radio and television programs through your purchase.
