A federal law-enforcement agency is facing blowback for its suggestion that people should turn in their former spouses on Valentine’s Day.
The ATF released the following announcement via Twitter in a plea to round up violators of federal gun laws.
“Valentine’s Day can still be fun even if you broke up. Do you have information about a former (or current) partner involved in illegal gun activity? Let us know, and we will make sure it’s a Valentine’s Day to remember!” the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) posted Monday.

As World Net Daily reports, candidates for office, conservative media figures, and gun rights advocacy organizations slammed the agency in response.
“Abolish the ATF,” Josh Mandel, a candidate for the Republican nomination to replace retiring Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, tweeted.

“Hunter Biden lied on a Form 4473 to purchase a gun he wasn’t legally allowed to possess. Is that still a crime, or is it okay if you’re the corrupt, crackhead son of the president?” Sean Davis, co-founder of the Federalist, asked on Twitter.

“The fight to protect the public from firearm-related violence is not just up to law enforcement; it’s a partnership between our communities and law enforcement. We look to those who live within the communities we protect, to provide law enforcement with real-time intelligence as to violent offenders,” April Langwell, chief of the ATF’s public affairs division, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement.
“This tweet was generated to ask our followers to report illegal gun trafficking, which directly impacts violent crime nationwide,” she added.

Trump-era Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe says Joe Biden and Barack Obama knew Hillary Clinton's campaign was trying to hack into Donald Trump's servers in search of links to the Kremlin, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Ratcliffe said former CIA Director John Brennan told then-President Obama and then-Vice President Biden in 2016 about allegations Clinton was trying to fabricate Trump's links to Russia to distract from the scandal over her deleted emails.
The former DNI also told Fox News Digital on Monday there is 'enough evidence' to indict 'multiple people' in Special Counsel John Durham's probe into the origins of the Russia investigation into ex-President Donald Trump, the Mail reports.
The British newspaper’s report follows Durham's bombshell claims in legal filings that Clinton's campaign paid a firm to target servers in Trump Tower to create a fake scandal while he was still in office.

Ottawa’s top cop resigned Tuesday after an onslaught of criticism for his department’s handling of the trucking protests that crippled Canada’s capital for the past two weeks.
According to the New York Post, a Canadian federal government official told the Associated Press anonymously that Police Chief Peter Sloly’s resignation is due to his terrible handling of the “Freedom Convoy” protests against COVID-19 vaccine mandates, which left many in the city and country wondering why police hadn’t done more to intervene.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday he will employ rare emergency powers to attempt to stop the protests.
Canada’s public safety minister has said police will start taking a much harder stance against protesters, and will ban blockades at border crossings, airports, and in the entire city of Ottawa.
Trudeau ruled out using the military to break up the demonstrations, but plans to threaten to freeze truckers’ assets and other measures that would impact their livelihoods.
Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Monday: “Consider yourselves warned. If your truck is used in these blockades, your corporate accounts will be frozen. The insurance on your vehicle will be suspended. Send your rigs home.”
Lori Williams, a politics professor at Mount Royal University in Calgary, told Reuters that “there’s the danger this could create more problems,” calling the powers “enormous.”
“That’s why this has to be done with the cooperation of premiers and if they don’t want help, then the federal government needs to hang back.”
Leah West, an assistant professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, doubted the move met the standards to utilize the Act, saying on Twitter that the country’s sovereignty is not endangered by the largely non-violent protests.

The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday announced a partial withdrawal of Russian tanks and other heavy weapons from neighboring Belarus near the border with Ukraine.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that military units have already been relocated away from the border with Ukraine.
The Russian troops have completed their training in Belarus and will begin returning to their places of regular deployment, he said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also published on Tuesday what it said is fresh footage of Russian tanks and other heavy weapons being loaded to return to Russia from neighboring Belarus, Gateway Pundit reported via Russia Today.
EU Top News reported that, in comments carried by the Interfax news agency, that the Defense Ministry spokesman:
“Units of the Southern and Western military districts that have completed their missions have already begun boarding rail and automobile transport and will begin relocating to their garrisons today. Separate units will march on foot as part of military convoys.”
Some exercises, however, are still ongoing, he acknowledged.
Ukrainian officials were reserved in their response. Defense Minister Dmytro Kuleba said, “We have a rule: don’t believe what you hear, believe what you see. When we see a withdrawal, we will believe in a de-escalation.”

The Post Millennial has put together an article documenting the Biden administration’s persistent and admitted collusion with Big Tech social media companies to censor Americans’ free speech.
The administration has called for media and social media censorship, using COVID-19 as an excuse to tell these outlets to take a tougher stance on "misinformation" and "disinformation," which the White House identifies as anything that goes against its messaging.
While there has been pushback, the tactics have also been effective, the Post Millennial concludes.
Social media companies have ramped up efforts, partnering with corrupt fact checkers to label as false, misleading, or missing context many stories that have countered claims from the Biden administration, such as those on vaccine efficacy, which were later proved to be accurate despite the White House's wish otherwise.
Starting in October, 2021, the Post Millennial documented seven times where the Biden administration has called for greater censorship.
Here are just a few of the cases documented in the article:
In May, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki called for Big Tech platforms to censor Americans more, this after former President Donald Trump was booted off Facebook, calling it a "health and safety issue."
Speaking for Biden, she said social media "platforms have a responsibility, related to the health and safety of all Americans, to stop amplifying untrustworthy content, disinformation and misinformation, especially related to COVID-19, vaccinations, and elections. And we've seen that over the past several months, broadly speaking… we've seen it from a number of sources."
"His view," Psaki said, referring to Biden, is “that there’s more that needs to be done to ensure that this type of misinformation, disinformation, damaging, sometimes life-threatening information is not going out to the American public."
When asked about "concern for First Amendment rights," Psaki said, "well, look, I think we of course are a believer in First Amendment rights. I think what the decisions are that the social media platforms need to make is how they address the misinformation, disinformation, especially related to life-threatening issues like COVID-19 and vaccinations that continue to proliferate on their platforms."
In July, the president, the surgeon general, and the press secretary all made statements that social media and media companies should censor and suppress content that went against the administration's messaging.
A reporter asked Biden in July, "What's your message to platforms like Facebook?"
He replied, "They're killing people. The only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated. And they're killing people." When later asked to clarify those statements, Biden said: "I mean precisely what I said."
Biden's Surgeon General Vivek Murthy issued an advisory on "Confronting Health Misinformation" that urged Big Tech companies to "impose clear consequences for accounts that repeatedly violate platform policies."
"Misinformation tends to flourish in environments of significant societal division, animosity, and distrust," Murthy wrote. "Distrust of the healthcare system due to experiences with racism and other inequities may make it easier for misinformation to spread in some communities. Growing polarization, including in the political sphere, may also contribute to the spread of misinformation."
Psaki said at the time: "It shouldn't come as a surprise that we're in touch with social media, just like we're in regular touch with all of you and your media outlets about areas where we have concern, information that might be useful, information that may or not be interesting to your viewers."
Psaki said that the Biden administration is "regularly making sure social media platforms are aware of the latest narratives dangerous to public health that we and many other Americans are seeing across all of social and traditional media."
Biden gave a speech to update Americans on the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, in which he begged Americans to wear masks, pushed vaccines and boosters, and asked social media and media companies not to run stories or allow posts that run counter to government narratives on COVID.
"I make a special appeal to social media companies and media outlets," he said, "Please deal with the misinformation and disinformation that's on your shows; it has to stop."
Surgeon General Vivek Murthy took a stand in January as well. After the controversy erupted over Joe Rogan's podcast interview with Dr. Robert Malone, a doctor who has a far different view on COVID-19, and vaccination, than Murthy, Murthy expressed his ideas on how to "root out misinformation."
"There's something I've always believed as a doctor, that people have the right to make their own decisions," he said on MSNBC. "They also have the right to have accurate information to make that decision with. Now when it comes to how we root out the misinformation in society right now, and give people access to accurate information, we've got to do several things."
"Number one, we've got to recognize that our technology platforms, whether particularly social media, these have an important role to play. These are the predominant places where we're seeing misinformation spread," he went on.
"These platforms have still not stepped up to do the right thing and do enough, I should say, to reduce the spread of misinformation," Murthy said. "But each of us also has a role to play here," he went on, "because we all have platforms and particularly if you're somebody who has a large following, whether you're an entertainer, a politician, in the media, it's your responsibility, all of our responsibilities, to make sure that we are thoughtful in what we are sharing.”
Psaki had her own response to the Rogan-Malone controversy. YouTube removed the interview Rogan had with Malone, and nearly 1,000 people, some of whom are doctors and scientists, insisted that Spotify implement stricter content controls so that people like Rogan cannot have interviews that question the administration's narrative on COVID-19.
As the Post Millennial article reminds us, Jen Psaki was among those calling for further suppression of Rogan. Spotify, the platform that hosts the podcast, was slammed by other artists who ended up pulling their music off the platform in protest. In response to the backlash against Rogan, Spotify said they would slap labels on podcasts that dealt with alternative views on COVID-19, essentially obeying the order from the Biden White House to crack down on users.
For Psaki, this was not enough. She stated, "Well, last July, you probably know, but the Surgeon General also took the unprecedented step to issue an advisory on the risk of misinformation and public health, which was a very significant step, and amid that he talked about the role social media platforms have."
"So, our hope is," Psaki said, "that all major tech platforms, and all major news sources for that matter, be responsible and be vigilant to ensure the American people have access to accurate information on something as significant as COVID-19, and that certainly includes Spotify," she said.
Psaki said that while the advisories that Spotify will display is "a positive step," the White House wants platforms to do more to suppress and remove misinformation and disinformation, while "also uplifting accurate information."

Retired Colonel Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D., was on the Joe Hoft Show at Real Talk Radio 93.3 Monday and he dropped some bombs on the origins of COVID and the involvement of China’s government, as well that of the United States.
Dr. Sellin shared an article at The Gateway Pundit where he asked about Johns Hopkins University’s actions related to COVID and the CCP.

Sellin went on to say in that interview that:
“Dr. Anthony Fauci…funded the EcoHealth Alliance which Peter Daszak runs in New York City. But then the money was funneled to the Wuhan Institute of Virology…What’s been happening is billions of dollars in fact of US taxpayer money has gone through the Institute of Health to universities in the US which in turn have collaborated with scientists inside China, including scientists with the People’s Liberation Army. It’s almost as if Johns Hopkins was working with the Chinese Communist Party in scaring us.”

A former Obama Homeland Security official who lashed out at protesting Canadian truckers was an enthusiastic backer of the bloody Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots during the summer of 2020.
“The convoy protest, applauded by right wing media as a ‘freedom protest,’ is an economic and security issue now,” Harvard professor and CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem wrote on Twitter last week as Freedom Convoy truckers blocked a major international bridge.
“The Ambassador Bridge link constitutes 28% of annual trade movement between the US and Canada. Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks,” she added.

Wrapping up tonight, we take a look in our analysis at the motivations behind the Trudeau government ratcheting up the tyranny in Canada.
Although the Freedom Convoy protesters have been peaceful and have done nothing more than show the sheer size and scope of freedom-loving people who oppose the medical tyranny brought on by Covid, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced he was invoking the “Emergencies Act” to help fight the growing protests that are now making their way into other nations of the world.
What we find particularly interesting about Trudeau’s announcement is that Canada’s federal government did not even invoke the Emergencies Act in 2001 when the World Trade Centers were attacked by terrorists. But now, as citizens stand up against government overreach, the Canadian government has decided to flex its totalitarian muscles.
Listen to what Ezra Levant of Canada’s Rebel News said in a recent Fox News interview.

Levant nails it in that interview. This is financial terrorism, economic warfare, being waged against the freedom loving, law-abiding citizens of Canada.
And we should not be surprised by Trudeau seizing on this opportunity to show his true colors.
In a town hall meeting a few years ago, he admitted which country in the world he most admires.
Take a look.

In 2016, WVW-TV began to urge our radio and television audience to prepare for increasingly uncertain times such as:
- disrupted “just in time” inventory supply chains
- massive increase in inflation
- biological warfare and terrorism
- an EMP attack from China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea
- A cyber attack on our critical infrastructure, including power-grid, water utilities and/or the banking industry
Then, 2020 happened with the biological attack on America by Communist China through Covid-19. Finding hamburger meat, a can of soup, pasta, a can of tuna, and other basics became shockingly challenging.
Those who had mocked our organization for calling on our audience to prepare with an emergency food supply were no longer laughing at us. In fact, some of them began to order emergency food from our store.
I have enjoyed Mountain House food on camping trips going back to when I was in high school. I purchased 6 months of food for 5 people in April of 2013 for my family. Three and a half years later, Worldview Weekend became a distributor for Mountain House because we personally know and testify to the quality of the food and understand the need for families to have "food insurance" in an increasingly dangerous world.
