Ottawa police are threatening to call in the Canadian military to help put down the trucker uprising against Covid vaccine mandates.

Breitbart is reporting that the Ottawa police chief said the capital may request aid from the armed forces to stop the ongoing anti-mandatory vaccine Freedom Convoy trucker protest, but the Defense Ministry responded saying they had no plans to get involved in the situation at this time.

Police Chief Peter Sloly gave a briefing on Wednesday stating that the ongoing trucker protests, which began on January 29, have become more than just an issue for Ottawa authorities.

“This is a national issue, not an Ottawa issue,” Sloly told city councilors and added, “I am increasingly concerned there is no policing solution to this,” reported the CBC, Canada’s state-funded  media outlet.

“There is no lawful authority to seal a city, there’s no practical capability to seal a city of this size,” Sloly said and claimed he would need at least 50,000 officers to attempt such a task.

According to the Ottawa police service official website, Ottawa has less than 1,500 police officers.

Sloly admitted that escalating the situation by bringing in the military was not a strategy without significant drawbacks. Wall Street Journal reporter Paul Viera quoted Sloly as saying, “Mixing them into a population, in a highly volatile population … may mitigate some risk but escalate” others.

While some nations are relaxing their Covid mandates in the face of growing public unrest, other nations are doubling down.

Italy is an example of the latter. The Italian government issued a new decree establishing yet more rules restricting the lives of people who have not been injected with the latest vaccine booster and who therefore cannot show the latest version of the so-called Green Pass.

According to Zero Hedge, the Italian government has purposely created a permanent segment of second-class citizens, who have already been stripped of their right to move about, work, and participate in a great number of social activities.

Now they’ve upped the ante. New restrictions have been added to the Green Pass that forbids Italians from entering post offices to withdraw their pension, and they are to be allowed access to supermarkets only to buy “goods of primary necessity.” 

In other words, the Italian government decides what kind of food and what other goods, if any, these people will be able to purchase.

Zero Hedge explains that it remains unclear how exactly the government intends to enforce this new decree: Will we see policemen putting their hands into shoppers’ bags? Will bread be considered a “primary” good while shaving foam and candies will be seized? There is no limit to the madness. And a recent note from the executive to clarify the situation only made things worse: the state now decrees that the unvaccinated can actually also buy nonprimary goods in the few shops they are allowed to enter. For the time being. In other words, Italy is now a society where your sphere of action goes only as far as the prime minister’s website explicitly and graciously allows. Heading out for a stroll at the park? You better check the latest blog post from Prime Minister Mario Draghi to see if he explicitly grants you this freedom!

This, by the way, is exactly the direction Canada was heading until the trucker Freedom Convoy stopped the government’s mandate momentum in its tracks.

According to a report by Alex Berenson, posted to his Substack account, the demand for Covid vaccines is plunging.

The number of Americans willing to submit to mRNA doses continues to drop.

Even with children 5 and over now eligible, the total number of doses administered in the United States every day is well under 1 million. That figure is barely above the July 2021 lows, before the Biden administration tried and failed to force its big-company vaccine mandate through, Berenson reports.

Even the current trend significantly overstates what demand may be going forward, because boosters are propping it up. The number of new vaccinations is close to zero. More third shot “boosters” are administered now than either first or second doses.

But demand for boosters is also plunging, Berenson writes.

That trend is also unlikely to reverse, he explains, because the 20 to 30 percent of Americans who remain terrified of Covid have already received their boosters.

He concludes by stating, quote:

“And at this point, stories of people who became infected with the Omicron variant after receiving a third shot are legion, even in the same outlets that relentlessly promote vaccination. Thus, Americans do not have to know the hard numbers from countries like Scotland to understand that within months, boosters likely increase the risk of infection with Omicron - a reality that isn’t exactly helping demand.”

“In fact, internal data I have seen from healthcare systems shows that despite enormous pressure, about half of all nurses and other hospital workers are refusing to take a third shot.

“If they are required to receive boosters, the system - already under pressure from staffing shortages - may collapse. Awareness of this reality is likely the reason California postponed its booster requirement one day before it was set to take effect.”

Democratic Senator Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico was hospitalized and underwent surgery after he suffered a stroke late last week, according to a press release released by his office on Tuesday.

Luján’s absence during his recovery period could temporarily upset the Democrats’ slim majority in the split U.S. Senate, in which Vice President Kamala Harris would normally be able to act as a tie-breaker in a party-line 50/50 vote.

“Early Thursday morning, Senator Luján began experiencing dizziness and fatigue,” wrote Carlos Sanchez, chief of staff to Senator Luján in a statement released February 1. 

According to Sanchez, the 49-year-old senator “checked himself into Christus St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Santa Fe,” after which he was “transferred to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque for further evaluation.”

“Senator Luján was found to have suffered a stroke in the cerebellum, affecting his balance,” the press release continued, explaining that “[a]s part of his treatment plan, he subsequently underwent decompressive surgery to ease swelling.”

While it’s unclear what may have caused the stroke, some speculate that it could have been connected to the COVID-19 shots he received.

Luján, who is “fully vaccinated,” has been one of the most hardline vaccine pushers in the Senate.

In December 2020, the senator tweeted out a photograph of himself getting his first dose of the experimental drug, with a caption telling his constituents: “There is nothing to fear about getting vaccinated to protect yourself from this deadly disease.”

In November 2021, he again tweeted on the subject, this time linking to a news story about young children receiving booster shots and urging everyone to get vaccinated and boosted.

Summit News is reporting that GoFundMe has frozen the campaign of the Canadian trucker convoy after it raised over $10 million Canadian dollars following demands from Ottawa city officials for funding to be “cut off” to the protesters.

The page for the convoy now states “This fundraiser is currently paused and under review to ensure it complies with our terms of service and applicable laws and regulations.”

“Our team is working 24/7 and doing all we can to protect both organizers and donors. Thank you for your patience,” the page also reads at time of writing.

As Fox News notes, despite being labelled a “fringe movement” by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the campaign for the truckers raised more money in the past fortnight than the amount raised by Canada’s major political parties in the whole of the last quarter.

GoFundMe directed reporters to a blog post explaining its position.

The post states “Recent events in Ottawa, Canada, have generated widespread discussion about the Freedom Convoy 2022 fundraiser on GoFundMe. We wanted to provide clarity around the actions that our global Trust & Safety and Customer Care teams take every day, just as they have with the Freedom Convoy fundraiser.”

It adds “As the activity surrounding the protest evolves, we have been monitoring the fundraiser to ensure the funds are going to the intended recipients and that the fundraiser remains within our Terms of Service. Our monitoring includes maintaining close communication with the organizer as well as collaborating with local law enforcement.”

“This process takes time and may slow down the withdrawal process. If the fundraiser does violate our Terms of Service or does not directly benefit the intended beneficiary, we will remove it from the platform,” the post concludes.

The move to freeze the funding comes just hours after Ottawa City council member Diane Deans in a Zoom meeting called the truckers “mercenaries” and demanded that GoFundMe, under threat of legal action, cut off the “pipeline of funding” to the Freedom Convoy.

Days earlier, Ottawa City Councilor Mathieu Fleury called for the city to launch court proceedings against GoFundMe for allowing the Freedom Convoy page to continue receiving donations.

The Canadian media is also suggesting that the Freedom Convoy movement is part of a conspiracy by “Russian actors.”

Meanwhile, the truckers’ Freedom movement just keeps expanding.

Not only are convoys being planned for Brussels and Washington, DC, but now a trucker convoy is being planned to protest the NFL Super Bowl in Los Angeles.

The Liberty Daily reports that American truckers are planning a convoy heading to the most watched event of the year.

They’re going because the NFL plans a “Covid Blitz” that will use the game and the days leading up to it as platforms for pushing the vaccines, constant testing, and the facemasking of America. Here’s a post from their Telegram page:

In addition to its safety protocols, the NFL will use the Super Bowl’s massive popularity to promote vaccinations and Covid testing. When the Los Angeles Convention Center hosts the five-day Super Bowl Experience, a kind of football theme park, every visitor will receive a free take-home Covid test kit and be urged to test before the game. Los Angeles County also plans to set up vaccination sites at the convention center, and anyone who gets a dose will be allowed into the fan event for free.

In addition to showing proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test, every attendee will receive a KN95 mask that must be worn at all times during the entire Super Bowl event, with the only exceptions being when they are eating or drinking.

Propaganda messaging about keeping your mask affixed properly over your nose and mouth will blare incessantly from loudspeakers.

According to MeetingsNet.com, a trade publication for the convention business, event professionals will be watching the safety protocols and outcome with interest, as meetings and conventions begin to ramp up through 2022.

Forbes is reporting that Facebook faces an “existential moment” after a $230 billion implosion of its stock value.

Shares of Facebook parent Meta fell over 25 percent on Thursday—erasing over $230 billion in market value for its worst trading session in history—after the company’s dismal quarterly earnings report showed declining users and surging expenses related to the company’s metaverse project.

Making matters worse, Meta reported that Facebook lost daily users for the first time in its history as business on its core platform slowed, and executives blamed increased competition from the likes of TikTok for its decline.

What’s more, Zuckerberg has shifted more of the company’s resources into building out his idea of the metaverse: Facebook spent over $10 billion along these lines last year and is expecting a “meaningful increase” in similar expenses for 2022.

A restaurant owner in Washington, D.C. is pleading to keep his business open after Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser shut it down.

The Big Board had a closure notice put up on their door by the D.C. Health Department. The restaurant is one of the few that has refused to ask customers for a COVID vaccine card in order to enter and eat there. 

On Saturday, The Big Board had their liquor license suspended. They have already been fined and as a result, a GoFundMe was set up in order to help the restaurant stay open.  

Owner of The Big Board, Eric Flannery met with Senator Rand Paul and a few other GOP members of Congress and discussed how heartbroken he is that his restaurant isn’t open.

You can hear the desperation in that restaurant owner’s voice. That type of persecution belongs nowhere on American soil, and yet DC is one of ten cities that have implemented the Chinese-style, show-your-papers system in America.

As of now, The Big Board has not said whether or not they will be pursuing legal action.

The COVID vaccines are not just ineffective, they are also connected to the uptick in cancers, warns Dr. Ryan Cole.

Our commentary tonight takes a look at a grim milestone reached this week. America’s national debt has surpassed $30 trillion, years ahead of the Treasury Department’s forecast for that dubious milestone.

Thirty trillion is an amount that can never realistically be paid back and no politician in Washington has put forth any serious plan to try to do so. It may be difficult to put such a large number into perspective and fully understand its implications.

If every household in America committed to pay $1000 a month, it would take 19 years to pay off the $30 trillion.

The $30 trillion gross federal debt includes debt held by the public as well as debt held by federal trust funds and other government accounts.

America’s high and rising debt matters because it threatens our economic future. The coronavirus pandemic rapidly accelerated our fiscal challenges, but we were already on an unsustainable path, with structural drivers that existed long before COVID.

Perhaps this is the real reason why the world’s largest banks and corporations are pushing for a “Great Reset” of the global economy, phasing out paper money and shifting to a new digital currency. Perhaps they know something the politicians don’t want to admit, that this debt can never be paid back. It’s impossible. And the only way to get rid of it is to implode the system and start over with a new global government based on the principles of technocracy, which aims to end capitalism, private property and the dollar-based economy.

But no matter how they try to spin it, capitalism did not cause the collapse. Greed, corruption and steady but gradual increases in the level of dependence on government is what caused it.

Just since the 1970s we have seen the creation of the Department of Education, the Department of Energy, and the mother of all bloated federal agencies, the Department of Homeland Security.

Once a government agency is created, by its very nature it seeks to forever expand its budget and its reach into the lives of everyday Americans.

Yet, no politician on either side of the aisle speaks openly about shutting down any major federal agency.

Until that happens, America is on a collision course with destruction.
