The United States Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision, voted to block the Biden administration's vaccine mandate for private businesses employing 100 or more workers, but the Court allowed a vaccine mandate for most healthcare workers to stand.

The decision also does not address the mandate for federal contractors.

The OSHA rule would have required companies that employ 80 million workers to force those workers to get shots or undergo weekly Covid tests. Failure to do so would have resulted in heavy fines.

But the court struck that rule down by a vote of 6-3 with Chief Justice John Roberts joined by justices Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett in the majority. Liberal justices Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan dissented.

Roberts said during oral arguments that he thinks it’s hard to argue that the 1970 law governing OSHA “gives free reign to the agencies to enact such broad regulation.”

The court allowed a separate OSHA rule to take effect requiring shots for workers in nursing homes, hospitals, clinics and other facilities that receive Medicare and Medicaid payments from the federal government.

The vaccine mandate for healthcare workers vote was 5-4 with Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barrett in dissent, which means Roberts and Kavanaugh joined liberal justices in allowing the HHS mandate on healthcare workers to stand.

So healthcare workers can blame Roberts and Kavanaugh for breaking ranks with conservatives and allowing the mandate to engulf, some would say destroy, their profession.

This is not the first time Roberts has come to the aid of liberals to help the government take over the healthcare profession, as he cast the deciding vote as you'll recall in favor of Obamacare.

The healthcare decision has the potential to do widespread damage to the level of care Americans get at hospitals. By forcing nurses and doctors to get vaccinated against their will, leading many to quit or be fired, the hospitals exacerbate an already critical shortage of competent healthcare professionals.

This can be seen in California's recent decision to call Covid positive nurses back to work.

Not only did we learn of Biden's vax mandate getting mostly torpedoed by the Supreme Court Thursday, but there's also a glimmer of hope in that regard coming out of Europe tonight.

In February and March, respectively, both Germany and Austria were committed to implementing forced Covid injections on their populations, a directive that met with huge street protests.

Apparently those protests are having an effect, and causing second thoughts among the political class in those two countries.

The so-called "vaccination obligation" will not be introduced in February and March after all. The governments of Germany and Austria are citing "technical" problems as the reasons for the coercive measures being postponed.

According to Free West Media, there are now signals that the mandatory vaccination program will be postponed indefinitely, at least until May. On the same weekend, the Austrian media reported that their compulsory vaccination was also being postponed.

Is the global supply chain heading for a collapse?

If the government of China has its way, you should expect it.

China, as part of its "Covid-zero" policy is locking down its ports, meaning the many products that America has come to depend on China to supply, will not be found on store shelves in the weeks and months ahead.

Even Bloomberg is starting to acknowledge China's complicity in the supply chain breakdown.

According to Bloomberg: the effects of restrictions in China "are starting to hit supply chains in the region." As a result of the slow movement of goods through some of the country’s busiest and most important ports, shippers are now diverting to Shanghai, causing the types of delays at the world’s biggest container port that led to massive congestion bottlenecks last summer. That eventually translated into a record number of container ships waiting off the coast of California, a glut that hasn't been cleared to this day.

With sailing schedules already facing delays of about a week, freight forwarders warn of the impact on already backlogged gateways in Europe and the US and is also why HSBC economists are warning that the world economy could be headed for the “mother of all” supply chain shocks if the highly infectious omicron variant, which is already swamping much of the global economy, spreads across Asia, especially China, at which point disruption to manufacturing will be inevitable.

China is the world’s biggest trading nation and its ability to keep its factories humming through the pandemic has been crucial for global supply chains. Both the delta and omicron variants have already triggered shutdowns to clothing factories and gas deliveries around one of China’s biggest seaports in Ningbo, disruptions at computer chip manufacturers in the locked-down city of Xi’an, and a second city-wide lockdown in Henan province Tuesday.

Lifenews.com is reporting that a family in British Columbia says they’re being evicted from a Vancouver Ronald McDonald House, where their 4-year-old son is staying while undergoing treatment for leukemia, because they aren’t vaccinated against COVID-19.

Austin Fergason can be seen in a video holding up a notice he says he was given by the facility, a charity that provides a temporary home to pediatric cancer patients and those with other serious illnesses free of charge while they’re being treated at local hospitals. The page-long missive states that beginning January 17, all patients, attending family members, and visitors over the age of 5 must be vaccinated against COVID or they will be evicted from the facility.

“Beginning January 17, 2022, everyone five years and older who are working, staying or visiting our facilities (both the House at 4567 Heather St. Vancouver and at the Family Room in Surrey Memorial Hospital) must show proof of full vaccination (two doses), in addition to completing our existing screening, unless an Accommodation has been sought and has been explicitly approved and granted by RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) in writing,” the notice reads.

If this were not caught on video it might be hard for some to believe, but here it is.

Indeed it is. And the evil appears to be spreading into all corners of society, even to organizations whose very existence was founded on the premise of helping the most vulnerable among us. Now, in January 2022, their love and compassion has grown cold. And all it took was a virus.

The consumer price index, which measures inflation at the retail level, rose 7 percent in December, compared to the same month a year ago. That's the biggest increase since 1982. The report showed consumers are paying more for everything, including groceries, gasoline, housing and cars.

But the latest report on wholesale prices is even more disturbing.

Wholesale prices rose at the fastest pace on record in December, the latest evidence that inflationary pressures are continuing to mount.

The Labor Department said Thursday that its producer price index, which measures inflation at the wholesale level before it reaches consumers, surged 9.7 percent in December. It marked the highest figure on record since the government began tracking the data in 2010.

Well, it seems like every night we have a new tragic death or injury to report of a young, super-fit athlete who suffers a heart attack.

Last night it was 28-year-old Jean Ramirez, a bullpen catcher for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.

Tonight it's a 38-year-old man who was competing in an Ironman triathlon event.

The opening of the 2022 Ironman season in Chile resulted in a tragic death of an athlete. According to reports, the athlete suffered a heart attack while in the water for a swimming event.

The race had to stop after another athlete alerted security personnel regarding the situation. The man received immediate medical treatment and was taken to a nearby hospital via ambulance.

The identity of that athlete has not yet been released to the public.

Remember that bombshell interview we told you about last week in which Dr. Robert Malone, in an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, revealed the brainwashing techniques and disinformation being used on the American people?

Well, nearly 300 medical doctors have sent a letter to Spotify, the online platform that carries Rogan's podcast, demanding that Spotify take down Rogan's interviews with both Dr. Malone.

They're alleging, you guessed it, "misinformation."

A group of 270 medical professionals sent an open letter to Spotify to urge the platform to add a "misinformation policy," especially with regard to COVID-19, over the success of Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.

The “Open Letter to Spotify” states that:

“By allowing the propagation of false and societally harmful assertions, Spotify is enabling its hosted media to damage public trust in scientific research and sow doubt in the credibility of data-driven guidance offered by medical professionals,” the letter read.

“Though Spotify has a responsibility to mitigate the spread of misinformation on its platform, the company presently has no misinformation policy,” it added.

The letter’s signers added the concern was not only scientific but also sociological.

“This is not only a scientific or medical concern; it is a sociological issue of devastating proportions and Spotify is responsible for allowing this activity to thrive on its platform,” it concluded.

YouTube has already removed Rogan’s episode with Malone from its platform, and Twitter has permanently suspended Dr. Malone's account.

By their actions, these platforms have made a statement: Any member of the scientific community that does not follow the narrative set by government scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci will not be tolerated and will be banned.

But Texas Republican Congressman Troy Nehls submitted a transcript of the Malone interview to the Congressional Record, where he says it will live on.

“Today, I submitted the transcript from the @joerogan experience podcast episode #1757 with Dr. Robert Malone to the Congressional Record,” Nehls tweeted.

“Big tech wants to restrict your access to this information – but they cannot censor the Congressional Record,” he added.

“By deplatforming Dr. Robert Malone for voicing opposition and removing the interview, Twitter and YouTube are once again proving that they don’t work for their users but for big Pharma, big media, and the elites,” Nehls said in a statement.

How badly do some of the powers that be want every man, woman and child to be vaxxed? We've already seen from an earlier report that the Vaccine Nazis are willing to shut down the medical treatment of a 4-year-old boy suffering with leukemia.

Now we learn that they're also willing to let motorists be stranded in a snowstorm and roads to be shut down.

In the middle of a snow emergency, the state of Washington turned down assistance from Kittitas County to clear the roads because the county didn’t have a vaccine mandate for snow-plow drivers.

According to the county, “On the dates of January 5th and 6th, 2022, Kittitas County received significant snowfall. This snow event resulted in the closure of Interstate 90 and Hwy. 97 for three days causing freight deliveries to be delayed, travel across the State of Washington impossible, and access to services significantly impacted.”

On October 18, 2021, due to a mandate from Democrat Governor Jay Inslee, Washington state fired or forced resignations of all unvaccinated employees from state agencies which resulted in hundreds of workers being released from the state DOT.

As a result, they couldn’t clear the roads. Despite an agreement to help, Kittitas County was not allowed unless they forced every employee to get vaxxed. So, for four days, key highways were shut down.

The Independent Sentinel reports that "Trucks were stuck for miles but ideology is all that counts. More than 30,000 trucks pass over the roads that were closed for four days. Some roads are still closed. Residents were stranded without supplies.

"Such is the communistic ideology."

An obscure agency within the federal government called the Pretrial Services Agency has announced an Orwellian tracking scheme to collect the names and "personal religious information" of federal employees who apply for religious exemptions from the federally mandated vaccination requirement," which the Supreme Court partially struck down on Jan. 13.

A report by the Daily Signal suggests the Biden administration is using the tiny agency as a test bed for deploying the database across the entire US government – noting that the announcement was relegated to an obscure group and given just 30 days for public comment.

According to an item logged by the Biden administration into the Federal Register, "The primary purpose of the secured electronic file repository is to collect, maintain, use, and — to the extent appropriate and necessary—disseminate employee religious exception request information collected by the Agency in the context of the federally mandated COVID-19 vaccination requirement."

The US government has, to date, treated religious exemptions as a joke.

The Department of Defense, for example, has failed to grant a single religious exemption on behalf of any service members requesting one for the federal vaccine mandate. A group of Navy SEALS was recently successful in its federal lawsuit against the Biden administration on claims that its conscience rights under the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act were violated.

In our next story, New York City’s Democrat mayor Eric Adams threw his support this week to a City Council-approved measure to allow an estimated 800,000 noncitizens to vote in city elections.

As conservative writer Michelle Malkin points out in a column for the New American, the newly minted voters will include green-card holders, foreign students, temporary visa holders, and H-1B workers mostly from China and India.

These new voters will be granted enormous influence over vital local matters pertaining to everything from education to taxes to crime and only need to show they’ve been in the city for a measly 30 days, according to Malkin, who writes:

"It doesn’t matter that these noncitizens will largely have no attachment at all to America as their permanent home but instead see it as a temporary rest stop, a cash cow, or, at worst, hostile territory."

Adams proclaimed in a statement that while he had “some concerns” about the bill, he now believes “allowing the legislation to be enacted is by far the best choice, and looks forward to bringing millions more into the democratic process.”

As Malkin points out, when politicians like Adams use the term “democratic process,” what they really mean is “Democrat Party.”

The scheme to overwhelm our elections through both illegal alien amnesty and unfettered legal immigration is straight out of the left-wing playbook.

New York taking the plunge into non-citizen voting is just the latest in a process that began in 1991, when six municipalities in Montgomery County, Maryland, allowed noncitizens to cast ballots in local elections. An additional five Maryland municipalities, two Vermont towns, two U.S. territories and San Francisco have also opened their voting booths to noncitizens.

Former Immigration and Naturalization Service Commissioner Alan C. Nelson’s warning nearly 30 years ago when Takoma Park passed its noncitizen voting referendum remains more trenchant than ever. He said, quote:

“In many countries of the world, an alien is always an alien. In our country, we are proud that our laws and social policies encourage aliens of all races and cultures to become citizens. In recent years, however, an increasing number of aliens have not pursued citizenship.… This trend is disturbing, because it could seriously affect the assimilation process immigrants have pursued in this nation for 200 years.… This important value of becoming a citizen is lost if an alien can vote without becoming a citizen. Any legal resident alien can become a U.S. citizen in five years. That is not an unreasonable time to wait to be able to participate in our democracy.… The five-year wait emphasizes the value of citizenship as a requirement to vote and to becoming a full member of the community.… If local voting by noncitizens is allowed, state and federal voting could be next. Either there is a policy basis for noncitizens to vote, or there is not. If we open the door, it cannot be closed halfway.”

Finally tonight, the federal government is building a pre-fab concrete wall around portions of the White House and nobody seems to know why.

The mainstream media, including the White House press corps that covers the Biden administration on a daily basis, who ask such probing questions as what is Biden's favorite flavor of ice cream, seems to have no curiosity about the wall-building project. As of Thursday it had not come up at the daily briefings.

But you can see from the video here that it's more than a rumor. It is actually happening.
