Crosstalk: March 30, 2016
On Sunday, followers of Islam killed at least 70 people declared to be primarily Christian in a suicide bomb-blast attack in Pakistan. About 300 people were also injured in the attack which was close to a children's playground. A recent report on terrorism indicates a nearly 800% jump in the past 5 years. They blame the expansion on Islamic groups across the Middle East and Africa. Will America wake up to Islamic terrorism? Appearing on Crosstalk to discuss this issue was Usama Dakdok. Usama is the founder and director of the Straightway of Grace Ministry, equipping Christians to be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ to their Muslim neighbors, as well as ministering to Muslims directly. Usama is Egyptian born. He studied Islam and Islamic law since a young age. Usama has translated the Qur'an into English. He is the speaker on the program, 'Revealing the Truth About Islam' which airs daily on VCY America. The terrorist group that has taken responsibility for the Pakistan attack says they purposely targeted Christians yet John Kirby of the U.S. State Department told reporters that he did not have the fidelity of information to confirm overtly that the attack was specifically targeting Christians. Usama responded by noting that for the past 1,400-plus years since Mohammed claimed to be a prophet, Christians have been killed in the Middle East. In fact, for the first 472 years, even those who live near Usama's home area of Egypt did the same thing liberals are doing today in America. They ignored the problem. It wasn't until Muslims crossed Europe from Morocco to Spain and from Turkey to Eastern Europe, that the Crusaders woke up to try to save Europe from the destruction of Islam. Jim then mentioned Minnesota congressman and open Muslim Keith Ellison who said the following on a news program: 'The greater majority of domestic terrorist attacks are not by Muslims at all. They're by people like Timothy McVeigh.' Usama responded by telling the audience that if he can find a Bible verse that supports Timothy McVeigh's bombing in Oklahoma, he will agree with Mr. Ellison. He went on to say that what we see Muslims doing around the world is the practice of the teachings of the Qur'an. The problem is, even when the media talks about these incidents, they don't mention the Qur'an. Usama then debunked a Huffington Post article written by a Palestinian/American college student. The article lists 5 reasons why Muslims should never have to apologize for terrorism. So will America wake up to Islamic terrorism? Usama doesn't think we ever will. He believes this is the end of America because of the amount of ignorance all over this land. The only way he believes America can wake up is by memorizing and sharing the verses offered in the booklet below. Even those verses are just a small sampling of violent verses from the teachings of Islam.
