Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has at his Broadcast Table Dr Randall Price, an archaeologist who has been doing a "dig" at the hills surrounding Qumran, on the shores of the Dead Sea in the Jordan Valley in Israel. Qumran is the location where the artifacts, the Dead Sea Scrolls were found by a Bedouin boy, in 1947. Now there is a rush by qualified archaeologist to search the over 300 caves in the area of Qumran for additional scrolls that are believed to be in these caves, and to find them before the robbers steal these artifacts for personal financial gain. Jimmy and Randy will discuss the hurry to fine these additional Dead Sea Scrolls; what they have found already in their search; and the importance of the scrolls as a source for Biblical scholars in their research on the Bible from original sources.
