There was a recent report out of the Middle East that an Israeli Jet fighter had shot-down a Russian Recon-Aircraft over Syria. The Syrians said this was the case, and the Russians agreed. We now know that the Syrians were the ones who shot-down the Russian plane, not the Israelis. At first Russian President Putin said Russia would retaliate against Israel, now Putin has backed that up and says to Israel, don't let it happen again.
