Are we headed for another Civil War given our tremendous polarization and distaste for compromise?  In this week's boralogue, John looks at how we go to this point of no compromise and how, with the issue of abortion, there is a fundamental difference in worldview that makes it difficult to come together in agreement.  If no one backs down, we could be headed for trouble.

Technology in the right hands can work wonders.  In the wrong hands, however, it can be a nightmare.  Steven Mosher (www.pop.org), President of the Population Research Institute, analyzes China's social credit score system and describes the tactics used to impugn those with low scores.  He goes on to discuss some horrific details behind China's organ harvesting business.

Social media outlets are abusing technology in the form of censorship against politically incorrect views.  Ashkhen Kazaryan (www.techfreedom.org), Director of Civil Liberties at TechFreedom, examines the fight for free speech and questions whether a social media outlet is a public commons or a private company.

How is socialism portrayed in our education system today?  Timothy Snowball (www.pacificlegal.org), Attorney with Pacific Legal Foundation, discusses the stark difference between socialism and capitalism and shows how students in the West are being fed a false narrative that socialism is preferable to free markets.

John and Steve finish off the show this week looking at the impending "Deal of the Century," the Trump administration's proposed peace plan between the Israelis and the Palestinians.  How do the media, Western countries, Arab countries, and Israel's upcoming re-election in September fit in to the Deal of the Century?

John’s quote of the week:

"It was 50 years ago that people could disagree and compromise on things.  But why is compromise difficult today?  The answer to that is: worldview.  Before, we had a common worldview working toward different objectives.  Today we have a collision of two different worldviews."
