Trump Takes a Stand: $400 Million Yanked from Columbia University as Anti-Semitism Faces Real Consequences

Folks, we’ve got big news today—news that ought to send shockwaves through every Ivy League campus and leftist stronghold in this country. The Trump administration, in a bold and decisive move, has canceled $400 million in grants and contracts to Columbia University. Why? Because they’ve failed—miserably—to protect Jewish students from the rampant anti-Semitism that’s been festering on their campus. This isn’t just a slap on the wrist; it’s a wake-up call. And it’s about time.

On my show this week, I had the privilege of sitting down with two remarkable gentlemen, Olivier Melnick and Dov Hikind, both of whom carry the weight of history in their bones. Their families survived the Holocaust—grandparents lost to the gas chambers of Auschwitz, parents who witnessed unspeakable horrors. When they speak about anti-Semitism, it’s not academic theorizing; it’s personal. It’s in their DNA. And what they see happening on American college campuses today? It’s nothing short of a modern-day pogrom.

Let’s be clear: we’ve all seen the videos. Jewish students hunted down, forced to hide in libraries, barricading themselves in dorms while pro-Hamas agitators—sporting their terrorist neckerchiefs—chant “Intifada” and “From the river to the sea.” These aren’t peaceful protests; they’re calls for genocide. As Olivier pointed out, that phrase isn’t a slogan—it’s a declaration of intent to wipe Israel off the map. And Dov? He’s been to these rallies. He’s seen the hate foaming at the mouths of these students. He told me, “If they could get away with murdering Jews, they’d do it in a split second.” I believe him. These aren’t just potential terrorists—they’re terrorists in training, indoctrinated by a Marxist, Jew-hating system that starts in elementary school and festers through university.

And Columbia University? They’ve done nothing. They’ve stood by, spineless, as Jewish students are targeted, harassed, and assaulted. Their leadership—cowards, as Dov rightly called them—lacks the guts to act. But Donald Trump? He’s not playing games. On March 7, 2025, the Department of Education, alongside the DOJ, HHS, and GSA, announced this $400 million cut. The message is simple: if you won’t protect your students, you don’t get taxpayer money. Period. Olivier nailed it: “All he has to do is one, and all the other schools are going to go, ‘Oh no, we better clean up our act.’” I agree. This is just the beginning.

Contrast this with the Biden years—four years of empty talk, conferences, and 80-page documents on “fighting anti-Semitism” that amounted to nothing. Zero consequences. As Dov said, it was “100% talk.” Meanwhile, these campuses turned into breeding grounds for hate. But now? Real action. Real results. Trump’s administration isn’t just pulling funding—they’re deporting foreign students on visas who violate civil rights and support terrorism. Dov put it perfectly: “You don’t belong here.” And he’s right. Freedom of speech doesn’t extend to violence or terror. It’s about time someone enforced that.

But here’s the kicker, folks: the anti-Semitism isn’t just on the left anymore. It’s creeping into the right—yes, the conservative right. People like Tucker Carlson, who I called out on air, are giving platforms to Holocaust deniers and anti-Israel propagandists like Munther Isaacs without a shred of pushback. Candace Owens, Stew Peters—these so-called “MAGA” voices are spewing vile anti-Semitism, and their audiences are growing. It’s disturbing. It’s depressing. And it’s evil, as Olivier said—not insanity, but pure, calculated evil. I told my audience: I’d eat Tucker’s lunch in a live debate. He wouldn’t dare take me on because the facts aren’t on his side. History isn’t on his side.

Speaking of history, let’s set the record straight: there’s never been a Palestinian state. No capital, no currency, nothing. This “Palestinian” narrative is a fabrication, cooked up by a Roman emperor to spite the Jews and carried forward by the likes of Yasser Arafat and the PLO. The Weather Underground’s 1973 manifesto—sitting right here on my shelf—laid it all out: pro-PLO, pro-CCP, anti-Jew, anti-free market. Sound familiar? It’s the same playbook these campus radicals are following today, fueled by decades of Marxist indoctrination.

And yet, there’s hope. Trump’s not just talking tough—he’s acting. His tweet this week, “Shalom, Hamas,” was a masterstroke: “Release all the hostages now, not later… or it’s over for you.” He’s met with freed hostages in the Oval Office—emotionally invested, with Jewish grandchildren of his own. He’s watched the 47-minute film of Hamas’s October 7 atrocities—footage so horrific, Olivier says, you can’t unsee it. I want that film. We need to show it. Like Eisenhower forcing Germans to walk through the camps, people need to see the truth.

Meanwhile, Hollywood’s churning out garbage like No Other Land, a “documentary” that won Best Documentary for pushing a one-sided, anti-Israel narrative. It claims Jews and Arabs can “coexist” if only Israel stops being “genocidal.” What a lie. As Olivier pointed out, the kibbutzim near Gaza—progressive, peace-loving Jews who hired Palestinians—were raped, tortured, and murdered on October 7. One of the film’s own crew was killed by Hamas that day, and they don’t even mention it. Blindness doesn’t begin to describe it.

Folks, we’re at a crossroads. Trump’s administration is fighting back—$400 million from Columbia is just the start. But the battle’s bigger than campuses. It’s in our churches with replacement theology, on social media with fake conservatives, and in a culture that’s forgotten history. We’ve been warning about this—Olivier, Dov, and I. Back in 2018 and 2019, we produced Holocaust Horizon to sound the alarm. We saw it coming. Now it’s here.

We’re in this fight together. As I told Dov and Olivier, “We better hang together, or we’ll hang separately.” Shabbat Shalom, folks. Until next time, may God save America.
