The “Round-Up” program is back from its holiday break.  Here’s a brief list of news stories noted by Jim:  

–The Supreme Court heard oral arguments this morning concerning OSHA’s mandate on businesses of 100 or more as well the mandate on hospitals and their workers that would be recipients of either Medicaid or Medicare funding.

Here’s a quick look at some of the stories that made the cut for this week’s edition of the News Round-Up:

–Dr. Jane Orient from the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons warns that in addition to being subjected to various forms of censorship, for the first time in living memory, American doctors are getting threat letters from licensure boards warning them against disturbing, harmful “misinformation”.

–The U.S. Supreme Court just left in place New York’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers that allows for no religious exemptions.

–U.S. Supreme Court rules on Texas abortion law.

–Wisconsin Governor Evers vetoed several bills including one that would require medical care for a baby who survives an abortion and another one that would prohibit sex selective, race selective and disability selective abortions.

–The Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have suspended enforcement of its vaccine mandate for healthcare workers after two court orders earlier this week.

–The Biden administration told businesses on Monday that they should move forward  with requiring workers to get inoculated against COVOD-19, despite the fact that the federal government vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees   has been temporarily halted by a federal court.

–At the conclusion of an emergency hearing, the Federal District Court of Illinois has issued a temporary restraining order against NorthShore University HealthSystem on behalf of 14 healthcare workers who’ve been unlawfully discriminated against and denied religious exemption from the COVID shot mandate.

The news round-up materials for tomorrow’s program were so voluminous that Jim decided to take some of those stories and present them on this broadcast under the title: Outrageous!

Numerous Crosstalk programs have presented the ever-increasing evil in this world over and over again. Is it time for Biblical Christians to stand up and say enough is enough? Are there Biblical examples of men and women pushing back against the forces of evil? Indeed, there are:

–President Biden answered reporters saying that after nearly two years of job killing and liberty squelching lock-downs, restrictions and mandates, Americans can look forward to a return to normal but only if nearly 100% of them submit themselves to the COVID vaccine.

–After saying in December of last year that masks and vaccines should not be made mandatory, President Biden has reversed course and has now unveiled several new executive orders and other directives aimed at increasing the share of the workforce that is vaccinated at businesses across America.

–The Biden administration wants employers to require that their workers get the COVID vaccine.

–2 senior Food and Drug Administration officials have resigned after the Biden administration and the CDC pushed out recommendations for a 3rd coronavirus booster shot before the agency issued an official approval.

–Dalton presented audio from July when President Joe Biden addressed a press conference concerning Afghanistan.  His comments are an amazing contrast compared to what’s taken place this past week, including the 13 service members killed in a suicide bombing at the Kabul airport.

–In an ABC News video, President Biden said no one’s been killed in Afghanistan despite reports of at least 7 deaths.

This edition of the ‘Round-Up’ was highlighted by news concerning 2 important bills: The Equality Act and the Minor Consent for Vaccinations Act of 2020:  

–Jim began with a report from Pastor Tony Evans concerning the aftermath of the Texas storm and how it’s impacted their ministry as they were trying to help others.

There was plenty of news to share as our nation began a new chapter in its history with a new president and vice president.  Below is a brief sample from the group of stories highlighted by Jim:

–On this day in 1973, the majority of the Supreme Court made the decision that it’s constitutional to kill a baby in the womb.  Since Roe v. Wade there have been 62,553,810 deaths by abortion in the U.S. as of the beginning of this broadcast.  It’s the number one cause of death.

Jim had items to share related to the impeachment of the president, the Capitol siege, changes to come from President-elect Biden and much more.  For example:  

–President-elect Joe Biden announced a 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus plan to address the ongoing virus pandemic in the U.S.

–President-elect Joe Biden promises that on his first day of office he will issue an order requiring all schools that receive federal funding to let transgenders play on the sports teams and use the rest rooms/locker rooms that accord with their gender identity.

Michigan State Representative Cynthia Johnson gave a warning Tuesday at a vote fraud hearing where she called on soldiers (on the ‘left’) to ‘make them pay’ (referring to Trump supporters). The staff of late term abortionist LeRoy Carhart is having fun making a mockery of Christ’s birth by decorating an office Christmas tree with abortion tools.
