Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report with Brannon Howse.

Our top story tonight: Corrupt media companies in bed with the government. The result? Millions of Americans were deceived on the safety and efficacy of Covid vaccines.

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has revealed that it purchased $1 billion worth of advertising to promote the Covid vaccines from major news outlets nationwide.

Among the outlets that were paid with your tax dollars were ABC, CBS, and NBC, Fox News, Newsmax, CNN, and MSNBC, as well as legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations.

These outlets were collectively responsible for publishing countless articles and video segments regarding the vaccine that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.

The disclosures came as a result of an FOIA filing by The Blaze Media.

This reveals that hundreds of news organizations were paid by the federal government to advertise for the vaccines as part of a "comprehensive media campaign," according to documents The Blaze obtained from HHS.

The Biden administration purchased ads on TV, radio, in print, and on social media to “build vaccine confidence, timing this effort with the increasing availability of the vaccines,” according to The Blaze.

The legality of such advertising for a pharmaceutical product being administered under emergency use authorization only is highly suspect.

It’s difficult if not impossible to provide unbiased informed consent as required by federal law for all experimental medications being given under the emergency use laws when those targeted for the experiment are being bombarded with one-sided advertisements promoting the product as basically a miraculous cure for Covid – which we now know based on the Pfizer data dump was a complete lie.

The government also relied on media featuring "influencers" from "communities hit hard by COVID-19" and "experts" like White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and other academics to be interviewed and promote vaccination in the news, the Blaze reports.

The Biden administration engaged in a massive campaign to “educate” the public and promote vaccination as the only way to prevent serious illness or death from COVID-19.

Congress appropriated $1 billion in fiscal year 2021 for the secretary of health to spend on activities to "strengthen vaccine confidence in the United States” and “combat misinformation about vaccines.”

However, it’s become more than clear than ever that the biggest purveyor of vaccine “misinformation” was the government itself.

Speaking of that Pfizer data dump that occurred last week, we now know that the FDA knew from the clinical trials that this vaccine was not safe, yet it tried to keep that data hidden from the public for 75 years.

It was only after a federal judge ordered the data released that the FDA has begun to make it public.

In a recent podcast, journalist Naomi Wolf interviewed former Wall Street insider Edward Dowd about the financial impact of this bombshell information being released.

Meanwhile, the purveyors of the Covid hysteria are now openly bragging about how they deceived the world into accepting an experimental gene therapy into their bodies under the guise of it be a “vaccination.”

Natural News reports that Bayer Pharmaceuticals Division President Stefan Oelrich spoke at the recent World Health Summit. He gloated about how the pandemic shifted public opinion about what is acceptable to inject into your body.

Oelrich stated:

“We’re really taking that leap, us as a company…. in cell or gene therapy”

Oelrich went on to talk about how even just a few years ago, the vast majority of people would have said no way to experimental gene manipulation. Thanks to aggressive propaganda from the likes of Tony Fauci along with other corrupt world leaders and a dishonest media, most people ended up complying.

Oelrich added that, “ultimately, the mRNA vaccines, are an example for that cell or gene therapy” and that if they had taken a survey two years ago “we would have probably had a 95 percent refusal rate.”

Fully 66% of respondents to a survey in Israel claimed that they suffered at least one adverse reaction to the COVID-19 booster shot. Nearly half of those with adverse reactions reported having difficulties performing daily activities.

The results of the recent survey were published by the Israeli Ministry of Health earlier in February and analyzed in an article published in the Israeli daily newspaper Davar. 

LifeSiteNews reported that the most common side effects among women were menstrual irregularities:

The most reported symptoms were delays in menstruation (38%), increase in menstrual bleeding (31%), premature menstruation (29%), longer bleeding duration (27%), and severe menstrual pains (20%).

Israel was one of the first countries in the world to launch a national booster vaccination campaign; it began in August of last year. Nevertheless, so-called “breakthrough” infections continued to occur among those who received the booster jabs.

And, yet another country is getting bad news from its insurance industry.

In Germany, 1 in 25 citizens who received the jab have reported at least one physical injury, serious enough to require them to seek medical attention.

These are not mild side effects. They are moderately severe to severe, according to a report by the German health insurance company BKK ProVita.

Next up, the world is flooding Ukraine with military hardware and the nature of the weapons involved is getting more devastating. We’re talking fight jets.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, 15 countries have sent arms to Ukraine.

But on Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken upped the ante.

Blinken said the United States has given the "green light" to NATO countries looking to send fighter jets to Ukraine.

On CBS Face the Nation, host Margaret Brennan asked Blinken, "If, for instance, the Polish government, a NATO member, wants to send fighter jets, does that get a green light from the U.S.?"

"That gets the green light," Blinken responded, adding: "In fact, we're talking with our Polish friends right now about what we might be able to backfill their needs if in fact they choose to provide these fighter jets to the Ukrainians. What can we do? How can we help to make sure that they get something to backfill the planes that they're handing over to the Ukrainians?”

The majority of arms and supplies from NATO nations are being sent via Ukraine’s 310-mile border with Poland, reports Zero Hedge.

On Feb 28, the Hungarian Foreign Minister said his country won’t allow “deadly weapons” to be transported through Hungary’s territory while reiterating the government doesn’t want to be involved in the Russia-Ukraine war.

But Poland has no such qualms and is serving as a conduit for the arms shipments into Ukraine.

• U.S. President Joe Biden authorized the State Department on February 26 to send $350 million in weapons to Ukraine. Among the list of U.S. hardware making its way to Ukraine are Javelin anti-tank weapons, anti-aircraft systems, ammunition, and body armor.
• The Canadian government approved an additional $25 million in military aid to Ukraine on Feb. 27.
• Germany announced on Feb. 26 that it would deliver 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger missiles to “our friends in Ukraine.”
• Even Sweden, traditionally a neutral country, on February 28 announced the shipment of 5,000 anti-tank weapons, 135,000 field rations, 5,000 helmets, and 5,000 pieces of body armor.
• Similar announcements have been made by Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Greece, the UK, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Finland, among others.

The U.S. Senate on March 3 approved a measure that would end the national emergency over COVID-19.

The resolution passed 48–47 on a party-line vote. It was largely symbolic as the Democrat-controlled House will not follow suit, and even if it did Joe Biden would not sign on as he just extended the emergency indefinitely less than two weeks ago.

All Republicans voted for S.J. Resolution 38, which would end the national emergency declared by President Donald Trump on March 13, 2020. All Democrats voted against the declaration, which was originally put in place two years ago by President Trump and has been extended twice by Biden.

Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), who introduced the measure, said in a statement:

“After two years of living under this state of emergency, the American people are worn out and yearning to breathe free; they long for their God-given freedoms, and for leaders to take their side. There is no doubt, it’s time for our nation to learn to live with COVID.”

“I am proud my colleagues came together to repeal this emergency declaration and delivered a symbolic victory to our citizens that normalcy is around the corner and that limited government and our constitutional rights still reign supreme.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) urged senators to vote no. He argued that it isn’t the right time to end the emergency declaration, which enables the president to take certain actions, because new variants of the virus might emerge.

The White House now says it's actively considering the banning of Russian oil imports, if its allies agree to do the same.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken told NBC's Meet the Press and other Sunday talk shows that the administration is currently in "active discussion" over whether or not to ban Russian oil imports.

Such a move would cause already skyrocketing fuel costs in the United States to spike even faster.

Germany’s economic minister warned that to ban Russian gas and oil shipments in his country could destabilize the “social cohesion” of Germany.

And it’s not only oil and gas prices that are skyrocketing.

The price increases on food are stunning. And it’s not just in America.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) released its report on worldwide food prices for February, and prices hit a record high last month. The February FAO Food Price Index or FFPI reached a new high of 140.7 points, which reflects an increase of 3.9% over January and a whopping 21% over this time last year.

The FFPI serves as a “measure of the monthly change in international prices of a basket of food commodities,” notes the FAO. This month’s increase was largely due to “large increases in vegetable oil and dairy price sub-indices.” Cereal and meat prices are up as well, while sugar prices are down.

As most of you have probably heard by now, Lindsey Graham, the GOP senator and warhawk from South Carolina, called on Russians to assassinate the president of their country, Vladimir Putin.

Rand Paul, in an interview over the weekend with Charlie Kirk, was asked what he thought about Graham’s threat against Putin.

Reuters reports that the World Health Organization has signed a contract with Deutsche Telekom subsidiary T-Systems to build a software solution for global electronic verification of Covid vaccination certificates.

The QR code-based software solution will be used for other vaccinations as well, such as polio or yellow fever, T-Systems said in a statement on Wednesday, adding that the WHO would support its 194 member states in building out the national and regional verification technology.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

"Health is a strategic growth area for T-Systems," said T-Systems Chief Executive Officer Adel al-Saleh.

T-Systems previously worked with SAP to develop Germany's Corona-Warn-App tracing and verification app and a Europe-wide digital COVID-19 vaccine verification system.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo delivered another hit to COVID mask orthodoxy this week, arguing that the paper and cloth face coverings that have become ubiquitous in public since 2020 are largely useless.

Ladapo, a vocal critic of mask mandates and vaccine passports, delivered remarks while waving a mask for emphasis, lamenting that “most” people “across the political spectrum” think that “these things are saving lives.”

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has signed legislation banning males who claim to be female from competing in women’s and girls’ school sports, making Iowa the 11th state to enact such a law, reports LifeSite News.

The Republican governor signed the bill at a ceremony Thursday, calling the measure “a victory for girls’ sports in Iowa.”

“No amount of talent, training or effort can make up for the natural physical advantages males have over females. It’s simply a reality of human biology,” said Reynolds. “Forcing females to compete against males is the opposite of inclusivity and it’s absolutely unfair.”

The bill states that “Only female students, based on their sex, may participate in any team, sport, or athletic event designated as being for females, women, or girls.”

Under the bill, students who suffer “direct or indirect harms” as a result of having to compete against a member of the opposite sex can sue schools or other educational organizations for damages. Students can also bring civil action if they face retaliation for reporting a violation.

“As a woman, a mother of three daughters, and now a grandmother of three young girls, it worries me that this bill is needed at all,” Reynolds said Thursday. “It’s hard to imagine how anyone who cares about the rights of women and girls could support anything less.”

HF 2416 passed along party lines and takes effect immediately.

Ten other states, including Florida, Texas, South Dakota and Tennessee, have enacted similar laws in the past two years.

Russia’s Central Bank announced on Sunday that it will switch to the Chinese card system following the suspension of Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal in Russia.

All three of the U.S.-based payment systems announced on Saturday they will suspend all operations in Russia.

“We are compelled to act following Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, and the unacceptable events that we have witnessed,” said Al Kelly, chairman and chief executive officer of Visa.

Several banks in Russia have already started to issue new cards with the new Russian payments system “Mir” and China’s UnionPay.

The Idaho House has passed a bill to ban vaccine passports in the state.

In a statement from House Republicans, they said that the aim of the bill is to “ensure that all Idahoans, regardless of vaccination status, can access state services, buildings, or jobs.”

The Gateway Pundit reports the text of House Bill 708 states that it “amends existing law to provide that a person shall not be required to be vaccinated for coronavirus or have a vaccine passport to apply for or receive government services, to enter or remain in a government venue, or to be hired by the state or maintain employment with the state.”

Finally tonight, with war rhetoric heating up between Russia and the NATO powers, we thought we’d give you a status update on America’s anti-ballistic missile system.

A new study sponsored by the American Physical Society concluded that U.S. systems for intercepting intercontinental ballistic missiles cannot be relied on to counter even a limited nuclear strike and are at least 15 years away from achieving reliability.

Last month, the American Physical Society released a 54-page study analyzing the effectiveness of existing and planned U.S. systems for defending against intercontinental ballistic missiles or ICBMs. Focusing narrowly on attacks involving a limited number of ICBMs that North Korea could hypothetically launch against the continental U.S., it argues that “current capabilities are low and will likely continue to be low for the next 15 years.”

This century, U.S. ICBM defense systems have been designed specifically around the threat of a small strike from a minor nuclear power, and the study notes that defense against attacks from nations such as China or Russia would likely be “much more challenging.”

At a webinar on Feb. 16, the study’s leaders stressed the document’s aim is to enrich conversations surrounding missile defense without making specific policy recommendations.

The study was assembled by a group of 13 physicists and nuclear weapons policy experts chaired by University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign professor Fred Lamb.

Current and prospective U.S. missile defense systems are built off six decades of work that has cumulatively cost over $350 billion in inflation-adjusted 2020 dollars, according to a paper by study group member Frank von Hippel.

In the final analysis, 15 years is far too long to wait with the current geopolitical environment.
