Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

A shocking revelation came out in the Daily Mail, CNN and several other mainstream publications this week about the growing firepower of the Chinese Navy.

Not shocking to us, as we’ve been reporting on the menace that is the Chinese military for years on my show, Brannon Howse Live, where former CIA analyst Dr. Peter Vincent Pry delved into the details of the Chinese military machine before he passed away just over six months ago.

But now it’s coming out in mainstream publications from our own military leaders, the Secretary of the U.S. Navy, who is admitting to the American people that we are vastly outgunned on the high seas.

Secretary Carlos Del Toro raised the alarm that China's naval fleet surpasses America's in number of ships, and is growing faster than the U.S. has the capacity to match. 

Del Toro said in remarks before the National Press Club in Washington Wednesday, February 22, that it’s “no secret that the People's Republic of China seeks to upend our dominance on the oceans across the globe.”

Del Toro said China's navy has recently added over 100 combatants to its fleet, calling it “a naval buildup that is a key component of its increasingly aggressive military posture globally.”

China's People's Liberation Army Navy now has approximately 340 ships, according to Del Toro. The U.S. Navy says its fleet is “over 280 ships ready to be deployed,” and though the exact number is unclear, it is less than 300.  

Del Toro said China plans to field a fleet of 440 ships by 2030, far outstripping the Pentagon's stated goal, which is to have 350 manned U.S. ships by 2045. 

Del Toro further explained that, “Because of the incursion of a Chinese balloon into our air space, most Americans’ alarm bells have now gone off.”

He added, however, that many Americans were not aware that China “consistently” attempts to violate the maritime sovereignty and economic well-being of other nations, including our allies and trading partners in the South China Sea and beyond. 

China claims for itself hegemony over the vast stretch of ocean known as the South China Sea, a claim that is not recognized under international law. 

Del Toro said “China's disregard for the rules-based international order is particularly troubling in the maritime domain, from the Taiwan Straits to the high seas. The values espoused by the Chinese Communist Party are incompatible with individual liberty, with democracy, and with respect for human rights.”

Del Toro claimed in remarks to reporters that China's shipbuilding capacity far exceeds that of the U.S., saying that China has 13 shipyards, including one that has a shipbuilding capacity greater than all U.S. yards combined, according to CNN.  

The U.S. maintains a powerful advantage in aircraft carriers, with the U.S. Navy's 11 to China's three. China has also reportedly struggled to train enough ship-borne fighter jet pilots to properly man its carriers.

But the Daily Mail article cites experts who say that in a full-scale naval war, the bigger overall fleet almost always has a decisive advantage.

Meanwhile, Russia is feeling threatened by the West and warning that it will use “every weapon” in its arsenal to defend itself.

The world faces a global conflict if Washington’s goal is to defeat Moscow, and Russia will defend itself by any means, including with nuclear weapons, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday, February 22.

He wrote on his Telegram channel on Wednesday:

“It is obvious to all the powers that be that if the U.S. wants to defeat Russia, we are heading for a conflict on a global scale. If the U.S. wants to defeat Russia, we have the right to defend ourselves with any weapon, including of the nuclear kind.”

Medvedev’s statement came one day after Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a state of the nation speech, warning that Russia faces an “existential threat” from the U.S. and NATO, not only economically and militarily but also culturally with the importation of deviant LGBTQ sexual values that Putin described as “anti-family.”

The other big question in the growing proxy war between Russia and NATO is the role of China.

Former U.K. prime minister Tony Blair, in an interview February 21 with the BBC, said he had “faith in China” to dissuade Russia from escalating the war to a nuclear level.

The U.S. and Germany have warned China not to deliver weapons to Russia.

But China has never made any such assurances and now we have the first report that the Dragon of the East is actually preparing to lay its military prowess on the line for Russia.

According to information obtained by the German news outlet DER SPIEGEL, Beijing and Moscow are said to be negotiating the purchase of 100 combat drones, which could be delivered as soon as April to the war front against Ukraine.

At the Munich Security Conference last weekend, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that “We are very concerned that China is considering providing lethal support to Russia in its aggression against Ukraine,” according to NBC News, adding, “And I made clear that that would have serious consequences in our relationship as well.”

China reacted quickly, with a Foreign Ministry spokesperson accusing Blinken of spreading disinformation.

But information obtained by DER SPIEGEL indicates the planned cooperation between Beijing and Moscow goes even further than Blinken makes it sound.

According to that information, the Russian military is engaged in negotiations with a Chinese drone manufacturer over the mass production of “kamikaze drones” for Russia.

The revelations create a new urgency in the debate over possible Chinese military support for Russia.

A Chinese source said the prototype drones could be delivered to the Russian Defense Ministry by April 2023. Military experts believe the ZT-180 drone is capable of carrying a 35- to 50-kilogram warhead.

Sources believe that the design of the unmanned aerial vehicle could be similar to that of Iran's Shaheed 136 kamikaze drone.

The Russian army has successfully deployed hundreds of them in attacks on Ukrainian troops and infrastructure.

In a further step, China reportedly plans to deliver components and know-how to Russia so that the country can produce around 100 drones a month on its own.

A hybrid breed of super pigs—a mix of a domestic pig and a wild boar—is running wild in Canada. And now they are creeping into the United States.

These pigs are a creation of meddling scientists. They crossbred wild boars with domestic pigs to help farmed pigs grow larger and tolerate the cold temperatures of Canada, according to MSN.

But a drop in the market demand for these hybrid pigs about 20 years ago led some farmers to release their hybrids into the wild. Now they’re running free, according to Field and Stream, and getting out of control. The super pigs are gradually moving south. The states most likely to become their new home are Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Michigan.

The problem? According to MSN it’s that the super pigs are proving hard to eradicate. They have no natural predator and even hunters are challenged to take them down.

Ryan Brook, leader of the University of Saskatchewan’s Canadian Wild Pig Research Project, told Field and Stream, “That they can survive in such a cold climate is one of the big surprises of this issue.”

The cold-hardiness of the hybrid pigs means they can survive where other animals can’t. 

Brook explains further by saying:

“Wild hogs feed on anything. They gobble up tons and tons of goslings and ducklings in the spring. They can take down a whitetail deer, even an adult. Originally, it was like ‘wow, this is something we can hunt.’ But it’s become clear that they’re threatening our whitetail deer, elk, and especially, waterfowl. Not to mention the crop damage. The downsides outweigh any benefit wild hogs may have as a huntable species.”

MSN reports that the hybrid super pigs have already snuck into at least one American state, that being North Dakota. The article goes on to state that the super pigs have become adept at fending off recreational hunters, sometimes with entire sounders, the term for a group of pigs, generally led by mature sows, turning nocturnal to avoid hunters.

The United Nations is engaged in a plot to silence free speech that it doesn’t like on the internet.

Breitbart News reports that The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, or UNESCO, an agency best known for maintaining a list of humanity’s most valuable cultural heritage sites, demanded the establishment of “global guidelines for the regulation of social media” in a conference on Wednesday to address alleged “disinformation.”

Participating in the conference, based in Paris, were Brazilian President Lula – a convicted felon who spuriously referred to his opponent Jair Bolsonaro as a “pedophile” in an online podcast during last year’s presidential race – and Maria Ressa, a Filipino journalist who faced government persecution for allegedly reporting disinformation online under former President Rodrigo Duterte.

UNESCO’s event was titled the “Internet for Trust Conference” and featured speakers demanding a global governance structure to silence “hate speech, misogyny, suppression of free speech, doxxing and conspiracy theories.” 

Yes, you heard that right. In typical Orwellian fashion, those trying to squelch free speech are doing it in the name of protecting free speech.

The U.N. agency stressed its opposition to sovereign countries taking individual actions they deemed appropriate to address the existence of speech online.

“If these regulatory initiatives are developed in isolation, with each country working in their own corner, they are doomed to fail. Information disruption is by definition a global problem, so our reflections must take place at the global scale,” the UNESCO Director-General lamented on Wednesday, noting that “at least 55 countries are working on” suppression of speech online.

In a promotional video to announce the conference, a spokesman for UNESCO referred to users online violating its version of disinformation as “insects thriving in the dark.”

Moderna’s fourth-quarter profit tumbled 70% as COVID-19 vaccine sales fell and the drugmaker caught up on a royalty payment.

The U.S. government, co-patent holder for the Moderna experimental gene-therapy injections, made $400 million in royalty payments.

Heavy research and development costs also weighed on Moderna as the vaccine developer looks to strengthen an income statement currently dominated by its Spikevax coronavirus preventive shots, according to the corporate media giant Associated Press.

Moderna said Thursday its cost of sales jumped nearly a billion dollars to $1.9 billion in the final quarter of 2022. That included a $400-million “catch-up” payment to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an arm of the U.S. government, for a new agreement on future royalty sales of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Moderna scientists and government researchers worked together to develop the deadly COVID-19 vaccine.

More than 270 million doses of the original vaccine and even more deadly boosters have been administered to people of all ages in the United States since regulators granted emergency authorization in late 2020. That number, 270 million, comes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, so we don’t know how reliable that is.

The Spikevax vaccine is currently Moderna's main source of revenue, outside of government grants and money from public private partnerships. It brought in nearly $4.9 billion in sales in the fourth quarter.

That's a 30% drop from the final quarter of 2021, when the omicron variant of the virus was spreading rapidly and more people were getting either initial shots or boosters, according to the AP’s report.

Since then, more people are waking up to the facts and realizing the government has colluded with Big Pharma to push shots that were neither safe nor effective. No wonder its sales are dropping like a rock.

Over the years, manufacturers and even some medical providers have been promoting smartwatches and other activity/fitness trackers for health monitoring despite the fact that these devices expose wearers to high levels of biologically harmful electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and wireless radiation.  In fact, there have been lawsuits filed as well as recalls due to wearables causing undesirable health issues. Government and medical agencies have warned about wireless exposure causing interference issues with medical devices and implants. Now a new study has revealed more reasons to be wary of wearable or implanted devices connected to the internet.  

According to the study, smartwatches and wearable devices like a Fitbit or Apple Watch could trigger a heart attack in vulnerable patients. Scientists with the University of Utah say these wearable gadgets can interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers, but that’s not all.

The study’s lead author, Dr. Benjamin Sanchez Terrones, a computer engineer at the University of Utah, said in a media release:

“This study raises a red flag. We have done this work in simulations and benchtop testing following Food and Drug Administration accepted guidelines, and these gadgets interfere with the correct functioning of the cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) we tested. These results call for future clinical studies evaluating the translation of our findings to patients with CIEDs and using these wearable devices.”

High-tech watches that record exercise levels for the health conscious are potentially dangerous for a small group of people, the team concludes. This group of devices also include at-home smart scales and smart rings that utilize a sensing technique called bioimpedance.

The team says their results apply to smartwatches like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 or the Fitbit Aria 2 smart scale. Simulations and lab tests suggest that they could cause unnecessary shocks to the heart.

The study concluded that more study is needed on the safety of these devices.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Republican of Minnesota, introduced legislation on February 22nd to prevent the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency, or CBDC, which he and other experts warns could result in government surveillance of every transaction conducted by every American.

Emmer, a staunch cryptocurrency advocate, wrote in a tweet:

“Today, I introduced the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act to halt efforts of unelected bureaucrats in Washington, DC from stripping Americans of their right to financial privacy.”

He continued, “Any digital version of the dollar must uphold our American values of privacy, individual sovereignty, and free market competitiveness. Anything less opens the door to the development of a dangerous surveillance tool.”

Emmer said the bill would bar the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC, prevent the Fed from using a CBDC for monetary policy purposes, and require the Fed’s CBDC projects to be transparent.

Patrick Wood, one of the nation’s preeminent voices against technocracy, said Emmer’s legislation is a welcome sign that some politicians are waking up to the burgeoning technocratic superstate that claims we will own nothing and be happy.

Wood commented: “Central Bank Digital Currencies are key to the implementation of a technocratic scientific dictatorship because it would create a central control point over all financial transactions. Finally, legislative pushback is emerging to stop the Federal Reserve from creating a digitized dollar.”

We join Wood and Emmer is condemning the Federal Reserve’s efforts to create a digital dollar. The Fed is a privately held financial institution that has no business capturing information on transactions carried out by ordinary Americans on a daily basis. The digital dollars will not only be digital but programmable, meaning they could be turned on or turned off, or programmed to expire if not used in a certain amount of time. 

The fact that it took this long for a single U.S. congressman to stand up against this surveillance tool is extraordinary, and tells you how out of touch most of them are, even on the Republican side. We and others have been reporting on the dangers of digital currencies for several years, so these congressmen have no excuses for their ignorance. Or is it just indifference?

Either way, they must be held accountable.
