Good evening everyone and welcome to the Worldview Report.

On February 3, a Norfolk Southern train carrying 20 boxcars of hazardous chemicals derailed in the Ohio town of East Palestine, igniting a huge blaze. The presence of hazardous materials kept the firefighters away for days. Though no one was injured in the derailment, the incident forced authorities to warn of a possible “major explosion,” reports CNN.

Hundreds of people in East Palestine, which has a population of about 5,000, were evacuated as authorities planned to conduct a controlled burn to prevent another blast. After conducting a “controlled release” of vinyl chloride from five of the rail cars, authorities assured residents that it was safe to return, reports The Washington Post.

But the release of vinyl chloride gas has created phosgene and hydrogen chloride across the town, with several people sharing photos and videos on social media of large plumes.

East Palestine is undergoing an ecological disaster because authorities blew up five cars carrying hazardous chemicals and at least one local journalist was arrested for trying to report the story.

The soot from the explosion is so toxic that firemen who worked the fire are being forced to destroy their gear and must get all new gear.

The situation is so bad that it prompted a concerned tweet from Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green.

As you can see from her tweet, Green insinuated that the hullabaloo over UFOs may be used by the government to distract people’s attention away from the situation in Ohio.

And people are starting to ask questions about why there has been a near-total media blackout about this story. The reports that have been posted are back page and make it sound like everything was handled and there is no danger to anyone’s health. 

A local ABC affiliate, WYTV 33, interviewed a hazardous chemicals expert Sill Caggiano, who said, “We basically nuked a town with chemicals so we could get a railroad open.”

He advised residents of the town to “get a physical” and document their health condition. That way if they contract cancer or some other disease that can be caused by exposure to toxic chemicals, they will have a legal claim against the railroad company and the state authorities.

When chemicals get into the groundwater, they move fast.

That’s why this is a much bigger catastrophe than just East Palestine or even the neighboring communities.

Cincinnati city manager Sheryl Long told WLWT Channel 5, a local NBC affiliate, that the Greater Cincinnati Water Works is monitoring the water quality in the Cincinnati area after the train derailment and release of toxic chemicals in East Palestine.

Crews released toxic chemicals into the air from five derailed tanker cars that were in danger of exploding Monday and began burning them after warning residents near the Ohio-Pennsylvania state line to leave immediately or face the possibility of death.

Low levels of dangerous chemicals from the ones released in the derailment were detected in the Ohio River downstream from the incident.

Long told WLWT that right now, the chemicals detected are far upstream of Cincinnati. 

But they are watching closely to see if they make it that far.

Cincinnati is 240 miles southeast of the disaster site.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Monday morning delivered a speech at the National Association of Counties Conference.

Buttigieg joked about his numerous failures on the job.

“We’ve faced issues from container shipping to airline cancellations. Now we’ve got balloons,” Buttigieg said, laughing.

Buttigieg didn’t mention the Ohio train derailment during his remarks.

But he found time to whine about the too many white men who work in construction. That’s what bothers him. Not the fact that trains are derailing in Ohio, South Carolina and Texas this week, and the one in Ohio is causing an environmental Armageddon.

It’s this type of incompetence and deliberate distancing of themselves from the reality facing everyday Americans that is just mind-boggling.

And yet, this guy, is considered one of their rising stars. He will probably be foisted upon us as a presidential candidate again, even though his first go at that was a disaster. He will be back. You can mark that down and take it to the bank.

Slay News reports that five Canadian teenagers have tragically died suddenly in their sleep during the past month, according to reports.

The teens were all aged between 17 and 19 years old.

On February 6, 2023, 17-year-old William Caron-Cabrera (Laval, QC) died in his sleep following a cardiac arrest, Courier Laval reports.

Caron-Cabrera was a high-school football star and had a promising career ahead of him as he prepared to go to college.

According to the Laval Police Department, he died in his sleep following a cardiac arrest.

The cause of death was not in any way criminal, nor due to suicide, police stated.

On February 4, 17-year-old Tyree Rogers of Chestermere died in his sleep, according to his GoFundMe page.

Tyree had been staying at his friend’s house and passed away while he slept, his family said.

He had just turned 17 last month and was described as a “happy, beautiful soul,” with a “contagious laugh” and a “huge amazing smile.”

On January 11, 17-year-old Noah Bouzane of Paradise died in his sleep, his obituary reveals.

No details have been released on the cause of Bouzane’s death other than he died unexpectedly.

On January 6, 19-year-old Jayden Lopez of Edmonton died in his sleep, local news outlets are reporting.

There was no cause of death reported for Lopez.

On December 30, 2022, 18-year-old Theo James Gibbs died in his sleep, according to Meaww.

Gibbs attended Lassen Community College with the aim of playing his favorite sport at the college level.

He died in his sleep while he was at his family’s home in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Before transferring to Lassen Community College in Susanville, California, Gibbs played baseball with the Regina White Sox of the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League, the Martin Sports Academy, and the Regina Red Sox Academy.

Border Patrol Intel Agent Jose “Merc” Mercado died suddenly on Saturday, February 11th, due to an unexpected and sudden heart attack. He was 34.

The news of his death was confirmed by Congresswoman Mayra Flores, Republican of Texas, in a social media post.

Flores wrote on her Twitter, which was shared by Congressman Chip Roy, another Republican of Texas:

“My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Border Patrol Intel Agent, Jose Mercado. He was assigned to RGV Sector in Edinburg, Texas. He passed away yesterday of a sudden heart attack. Keep his family in your prayers.” 

Jose Mercado was a member of Class 875 out of US Border Patrol RGV Sector. He served with the U.S. Border Patrol as an outstanding agent for 14 years.

Natural News reports that a common endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC) used in personal care products like soap and shampoo substantially increases a woman’s risk of developing a metabolic disease like diabetes – especially if she is white – a new study has found.

Published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, the paper explains how phthalates, a class of chemical used to improve the durability of plastics and make fragrance chemicals last longer on the skin, increases a woman’s risk of diabetes by anywhere from 30 to 63 percent, depending on the concentration in her urine.

Because they mimic the activity of estrogen in the body, phthalates are linked to all sorts of health conditions, including breast and ovarian cancer and early menopause. Exposure to phthalates at persistent and ever-accumulating levels are also linked to diabetes, we now know.

“Our research found phthalates may contribute to a higher incidence of diabetes in women, especially white women, over a six-year period,” said Sung Kyun Park in a media release.

“People are exposed to phthalates daily increasing their risk of several metabolic diseases. It’s important that we address EDCs now as they are harmful to human health.”

Violence broke out in Philadelphia following the Philadelphia Eagles' narrow Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Signs of unrest surfaced almost immediately after the team's 38-35 defeat Sunday night - with disgruntled fans swarming City Hall and clashing with cops that had been stationed throughout the city in case of such an outcome, the Daily Mail reports.

Police scanner audio after 10:30 pm suggested police had made multiple arrests, as citizens were seen scaling lampposts, chanting “f*** the Chiefs” and hurling glass bottles throughout the city's downtown neighborhood.

Footage circulating on social media also shows several residents lighting fireworks, with others egging on armed SWAT teams tasked with keeping the peace.

In one shocking clip, a group of Philadelphians were seen lighting fireworks, with some reports indicating the explosives are being thrown at officers.

Initial reports said that cops used tear gas to deter any further disruptions, but that turned out not to be the case.

The loss is compounded by the fact the city's baseball team, the Phillies, similarly crashed out of the World Series just a few months ago.

New information released by the federal government reveals that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) detained a large influx of Chinese migrants at the southern border since October, compared to the last fiscal year. The report comes soon after the U.S. military shot down the Chinese spy balloon over a week ago.

As per Just the News, the CBP’s latest report published Friday shows a 719 percent increase in Chinese migrant apprehensions at the southern border compared to the same time the previous year.

For instance, 366 Chinese migrants were encountered at the border between October and January of the 2022 fiscal year, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data reported by Just the News. That number spiked, soaring to 2,999 in the same time frame this fiscal year, the outlet added.

Also, encounters since the start of the 2023 fiscal year in October have already surpassed the total number of Chinese encounters in the fiscal year 2022.

As shown by the report, the total number of Chinese encounters at the southern border last fiscal year was 2,176, significantly lower than 2,999 in just the first four months of the 2023 fiscal year, per Just the News.

The report follows the news that the U.S. military shot down a Chinese spy balloon that traversed the continental U.S.

Amid a baffling series of incidents in which the U.S. has shot down three unidentified flying objects, the Wall Street Journal reports that the White House is creating a team to study UFOs and the potential security and safety risks they pose.

The new group, created at the behest of national-security adviser Jake Sullivan, would comprise elements of the Pentagon, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies, U.S. officials told the Journal.

The group will look at the “broader policy implications” of the objects for detection, analysis and disposition, said John Kirby, a spokesman for the National Security Council, on Monday, adding that “Every element of the government will redouble their efforts to understand and mitigate these events.”

So when our nation faces an existential threat from China and its allies, the U.S. federal government decides to double down on UFOs and aliens. You can’t make this stuff up.

The U.S. State Department has begun telling Americans they should “LEAVE RUSSIA IMMEDIATELY.”  

The United States Embassy in Moscow released a notice on February 12th stating:

“U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Russia should depart immediately. Exercise increased caution due to the risk of wrongful detentions. Do not travel to Russia.”

LifeSite News reports that a Canadian man has accused staff at a hospital in British Columbia of pressuring him into having his now-late wife euthanized back in 2018. 

Richard Leskun, 75, whose 71-year-old wife Marilynn died in 2018, recently told The B.C. Catholic that staff at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in Vancouver repeatedly “pressured” and “badgered” him to let his wife die, and, when he refused, offered to euthanize her despite his continued insistence that he was pro-life.  

According to the report, Leskun had made his pro-life views known to the hospital’s staff on multiple occasions, including during a special meeting in which he insisted that he was entirely opposed to euthanasia.  

He told the B.C. Catholic news outlet:

“At that meeting, I was very clear: I’m a Catholic and I’m absolutely against medically assisted dying. I’m against euthanasia. I want my wife to live. I want her to continue living. We’ve had a good life for 10 years, even though she has dementia. I was very clear.”

Leskun said the hospitalist tried to convince him to “look at the big picture.”

“I did not know what he meant by that, but it shows how little he valued her individual life,” Leskun said. “I was probably too tired to jump down his throat or whatever. I said no, for sure. I was too tired to feel anything. But I was saying no, absolutely not.”  

Hours later, when it became clear his wife was dying, and Leskun finally agreed to sign the DNR order, he was told by nurses that it had already been put in place without his approval.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Monday fielded questions about the spy balloons and other “objects” being shot down over U.S. and Canadian airspace.

As noted by the Gateway Pundit, Joe Biden is once again nowhere to be found at an important juncture in U.S. history. Instead of facing the public and explaining what’s going on, as any good leader would do, he’s gone into hiding this week.

Gateway Pundit reports that Biden has nothing on his public schedule for the entire day Monday, after a tumultuous weekend, and he still hasn’t addressed the American people after the U.S. military shot down multiple objects over U.S. airspace.

Four objects have been shot down over the last few days.

The Pentagon on Monday updated on the 4th object shot down on Sunday.

“The U.S. military shot down an unidentified object over Lake Huron Sunday, a congressional source briefed on the matter and two U.S. officials told NBC News — the fourth in less than two weeks to be downed over North American airspace.” NBC News reported.

The object shot down on Sunday over Lake Huron in Michigan was shaped like an octagon and was at an altitude of 20,000 feet, much lower than the others.

Pilots gave differing accounts on what they experienced and observed, according to a report by CNN.

Some pilots said the object interfered with their sensors.

Other pilots said they observed no identifiable propulsion and couldn’t explain how the object was staying in the air.

Meanwhile Biden is AWOL and refuses to answer any questions about the objects shot down over U.S. airspace.

A reporter asked John Kirby on Monday: “Because it is so unprecedented, should the public be hearing from the president directly on this?”

Kirby absurdly claimed the Biden regime has “been as transparent as we can be.”
