A lawsuit has just been filed in Broward County, Florida to block the construction of a Muslim Mosque in Pompano Beach, Florida.Filed by an African-American Christian on May 1, the suit alleges that a radical form of Islam is attending to enter his neighborhood to spread extremism throughout America. The organizations named in the lawsuit are the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF), the Florida office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-Florida), and the national office of CAIR.The lawsuit is in response to the Pompano Beach City Council's dangerous decision to grant a permit to ICOSF for the creation of a 29,000 square foot radical suspect mosque within the northwest section of Pompano, an almost entirely Christian and African-American area. The imam of this Islamic center has a history of ties to terrorism, and anti-Semitic statements. The plaintiff and many others in the community believe that the mosque will be a nuisance and will pose a threat to the neighborhood and its surrounding areas. As well, the plaintiff believes that this is part of a greater scheme to radicalize America. The individual filing the lawsuit is Rodney Wright, a congregant of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Conducting Talk Show interviews on this topic are Reverend O'Neal Dozier, who is the Pastor of the World Wide Christian Center, a church near the Missionary Baptist Church, and an activist involved in blocking the Mosque, and attorney Larry Klayman, director of Freedom Watch, a judicial watchdog organization. The ICOSF is located close to both churches.CAIR, throughout the process, has acted in consent with ICOF, working hard to oppose anyone that gets in the way of the mosque's creation. The Klayman Law Firm, headed by the founder of Judicial Watch, Larry Klayman, represents the plaintiff in the case. The lawsuit provides a roadmap for other concerned citizens around the nation to legally prevent radical Islam from posing a security threat in their local communities. To view the complaint, go to: www.americansagainsthate.org and click "Stop the Mosque" on the top right.About Dr. O'Neal DozierDr. O'Neal Dozier is an attorney, an ordained minister and a former professional football player with the Chicago Bears. Dozier comes from very humble roots and tries to remain humble with a servant's heart. O'Neal Dozier was born fourth out of eleven children on September 3, 1948 to sharecroppers Annie Dozier and the late Jessie Emmanuel Dozier. In 1955, his family left South Carolina and came to Pompano Beach, Florida on a migrant farm bus. Rev. Dozier went on to graduate from Blanche Ely High School in 1967, where he was a soloist in the Chorale and a member of the Football and Basketball Team.Dr. Dozier received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida. Rev. Dozier played professional football in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears during the 1974 football season. He was then traded to the New York Jets, where he was subsequently waived because of injury. In addition, Rev. Dozier was a player/coach during the 1979 football season for the Alabama Vulcans (Birmingham, Alabama) of the American Football Association Professional Football League (A.F.A.).Rev. Through Judicial Watch's case against the Commerce Department, Klayman uncovered suspected Chinese spy John Huang that triggered the campaign finance scandal of 1996-1998. Finally, the perennial presidential pursuer filed a class action lawsuit over the "Filegate" scandal, which continues to this day.Former Congressman Bob Barr credits Klayman with uncovering 90% of the Clinton-era corruption. Larry has the dubious distinction of having the curmudgeonly character, "Harry Klaypool" of NBC's "West Wing," named and styled after him.
